Fantastic quality camera bag, great service! I bought the Alta Sky 45D camera bag, and everything about it looks and feels the best quality. It's adaptable for a whole host of equipment, versatile for all uses (including bad weather), and exceptionally well made. Customer services were really helpful too, great advice when choosing the right bag from their wide range. One very happy customer here!
I read a lot of reviews of this line of camera bags as I usually buy Lowepro or Think tank and they were all very positive, I bought a Xcenior 62T bag (from Amazon) that developed a fault after 6 months of heavy work that required a bit of fixing. I contacted Vanguard with photos of the fault and they immediately responded said it would be more costly to repair and that they would (without question) honour their warranty and a new, updated version of my bag arrived today. So yes excellent service and I am more than satisfied with the customer service.
I received a Vanguard tripod for Christmas, but there was a small part missing from the box. I contacted Vanguard through the website and received a reply in good time considering the time of year. Ian was very apologetic, and sent me the missing part very quickly. I haven't really had chance to use the tripod yet but it seems to be very good quality & I look forward to trying it out when the weather improves.

My Vanguard Supreme 53D hard case is brilliant and takes a lot of punishment from me.Through no fault of the case engineering I broke a latch lock lever by doing something stupid I should not have, but within less than four days a replacement arrived and I fitted it within a few minutes. Many thanks for an excellent service all round, and your hard cases are the best.
Three emails with regard incompatible cables with tripod head ,and no reply, very disappointed after reading good reviews of this firm.
Superb Products and an After Sales service which is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vanguard to anyone. I have had a couple of issues not Product wise and the after sales service was fantastic. Would have no hesitation in buying any Vanguard product 5 star.
I can't recommend this company highly enough!. I ordered the Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB via Amazon after doing some research and have been happy with the results. I had some questions regarding the tripod and Neil at Vanguard was both quick and helpful with his replies. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Great quality products. I have had a few products from Vanguard, from bags to tripods and I have to say that all are of fantastic quality. I have recently been using the Vanguard VEO2 235AB tripod on my travels and it is a fantastic bit of kit! Lightweight, but sturdy and made to a high quality. I fully recommend people to take a look at their products.
The products I have used of vanguards . Such as the Alta Pro tripod as well as the Alta sky 51d bag. Are both excellent trustworthy quality. stabilisation and quick access of the tripod makes it obviously one of the best tripods I've used . The backpack give you the user confidence that your kit will be nice and safe . With excellent padded support inside and out . As well as easy access and very good zips . As for Vanguard as a company . One of the best support networks I've ever used . Fantastic feedback always there with the email reply . 👍
I've been using Vanguard products for a couple months now and they've been nothing but solid. Great company with great products.
My only experience of Vanguard as of yet has been with the Alta Rise 28 Messenger Bag. The quality of the bag is second to none, certainly on a par with the 3 Lowepro Bags I have owned. I had been looking for a Messenger style bag to carry my growing collection of micro 4/3 gear, and though the Alta Rise 28 is a fantastic Bag when carrying 1 camera body and 2 or 3 lenses, I have found access to any additional lenses a little awkward. This in no way detracts from the bag itself, which I still love and use frequently, it is just an observation of this type of bag. Perhaps I am too used to a backpack style of camera bag. I do find the broad strap on the Alta Rise 28 means the bag is very comfortable to carry for long periods of time. The quality of this bag has got me considering an Alta Rise Backpack or Alta Sky Backpack, which will suit my needs better.

Vanguard are a superb company. They go the extra mile to ensure that a photographer gets what they are looking for. The customer service has always been spot on and I love their products. I use a vanguard Tripod, bag and hardcase. An expensive camera deserves good accessories.
Great tripods and great company to deal with for customer service. I bought my first Vanguard tripod after seeing it at the Photography Show (NEC) a couple of years ago. Impressed with the build and how solid it was I bought it on the spot. The one I bought was a display model, and on returning home I realised it was missing a small accessory. I called Vanguard and they popped the part in the post to me that day. Really great service. After a few years fairly heavy use (it's been in the sea, rivers, sand) it's still in perfect working order, just needing a good clean from time to time. This week I was in the market for a lightweight travel tripod. Having been so happy with my big Vanguard I had no hesitation in checking out their smaller offerings. I ended up ordering a VEO 2 265CB and have to say I love it. It folds down small, it's very light but it's solid as a rock - exactly what I needed. Really can't recommend Vanguard tripods enough - especially the VEO 2.
After having a small fault with my Vanguard Spirit binoculars, I returned them under the lifetime warranty. Within a week they replaced them with a brand new pair of Endeavor ED binoculars - their top model! What more could you ask for? Fantastic service!
I came across Vanguard products about 6 months ago now, I always thought I'd own Manfrotto gear since my dad used it all the time but I was amazing by the design, quality and look of their products across the range. I've owned one of the Alta Pro 2+ tripods for a few months now and it provides great stability and flexibility in many different situations, the newly designed twist locks are very fast to set up and put down. I haven't had any problems so far and I hope the tripod will last the test of time (which I'm sure it will). I also recently picked up one of their Alta Rise bags recently and again is very comfortable to carry, well built and carries all my gear very nicely. I've also had the pleasure of talking to some people from vanguard, each of them have been very kind and willing to help with any questions I have had about anything vanguard, I cannot recommend them enough!!
Alta pro tripod. Versatile and clever design means it can be set up in many ways. Ball head seems sturdy enough, only a few grips after owning for a while - the bottom extensions of the legs are pretty thin and fragile, one of them has bent and I had to bend it back just to retract it so now a bit stiff. Also one of the legs no longer locks in the narrowest position, not sure if because the click lock is sticking or the ridge it locks into has worn. Without those issues it would be nigh on perfect given the price.
A few months ago I came across Photographic Tripods, Ball and Pan Heads produced by Vanguard - solid, well made and compact. Having previously bought another leading photographic manufacturer's products, I was looking for more lightweight and compact Heads. I have had a lot of interaction with their Christchurch UK management and to say that they have been very helpful is perhaps an understatement. I can wholeheartedly recommend their products which are sold by leading specialist photographic retailers in London whom I frequent from time to time.
