Bought the Porta Aim for shooting, superb product. Had a small issue with it and it was sorted straight away. Great customer service. Would definitely but the same product again.

High quality products, although after 4 years and almost constant safari's my Endeavor ED's developed a problem, sent them to Vanguard UK, couldn't be repaired so with no quibble at all they sent me a brand new pair of EDll 's. Service from first phone call to receiving the new pair has been first class, I cant recommend Vanguard products and after sales service highly enough, in fact, I don't think iv'e had service at this standard from any company anywhere in the world in my 60 years. Thank you Vanguard, excellent company with excellent products.

I've had a few Vanguard products over the last few years and hold them in high regard. My first tripod had a faulty leg lock but the tripod was replaced quickly and without question. They've always responded instantly to various queries I've had - I couldn't even get an answer from Manfrotto when I had a fault, despite several attempts, hence the move to Vanguard. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I had a problem with my the head adjustment handles on my Vanguard Alta tripod. Customer services were able to find me replacement handles and sent them next day free of charge. Excellent customer service.

The tripod I bought from Vanguard had an issue where one of the legs was collapsing so I sent it to Vanguard with no knowledge of warranty information. They replaced the legs of the tripod and sent it back to me with next day delivery, an email saying sorry and no invoice at all. The fact that they repaired it so fast (within 2 weeks) and for free meant I had a hastle free experience.

I needed to contact Vanguard for a query on my bag and tripod. They (Ian) went above and beyond to help me, with great patience, and superb product knowledge. I would highly recommend them.

I have lost the low angle adaptor for my VEO2 235CB tripod. I contacted Vanguard and they've offered to send me a replacement - you can't get better than that, can you?

I needed a new plate mount for an old tripod I have and couldn't find one anywhere. I called Ian at Vanguard and straight away he had one in stock. I was also running to a dead-line so he posted it first class and it arrived on time, the next day! My experience with this company was excellent and would highly recommend them and their expertise to everyone. Thank you for the service you provided.

Recently bought Vanguard Endeavor ED 10x42 Waterproof Binoculars. Excellent binoculars, crisp bright image and built to survive outdoors (i.e. water proof and robust). I was fortunate enough to have bought these during a £50 rebate period making them an incredible bargain. I was pleased that Vanguard kept me fully informed on the progress on the £50 rebate. In conclusion great product and a professionally responsive company.

I bought a pair of Vanguard Spirit ED binoculars in 2015. I was delighted with the quality of the product and used them very happily for a couple of years. A few weeks ago one of the eyecups became detached and I lost it on a day's birdwatching. Although the binoculars were past their warranty period the Vanguard Customer Service team suggested I send them back for them to have a look at the problem. Within a week they sent me a new pair of the Endeavor ED as a replacement (and upgrade)! Vanguard's speed of response, helpful attitude and no quibble approach was a delight.

I bought a Vanguard Veo 204AB for £79 and over a year later it broke during use with one of the moulded plastic shoulders splitting. Like others who have left reviews here, I didn't think a warranty covered it but I contacted the company to see if it could be repaired. I sent them back the tripod and they gave me a £100 credit and 50% off any upgrade. I therefore took the opportunity to upgrade to a Alta Pro 2 + 263CB100 which speedily arrived and is a fantastic tripod that locks rock solid, even at ridiculous angles with the camera close to the ground. I was very impressed with this service from Kirsty and Ian and would happily recommend Vanguard to others. I await Vanguard bringing out a travel version of this tripod! Dave, Kent, UK

I had an issue with my most recently purchased pair of Vanguard binoculars. I contacted them with my 'problem'. I wasn't even sure that there was a real problem. They asked me to return the instrument to them to see if there was anything that could be done. Within a few days I received a new pair without demure. The replacement pair had no issues and were all I expected from this model. Any company can have a faulty product but the speed with which my issue was resolved means another 5 star rating for this company!

What I thought may have been a troublesome warranty issue was dealt with in the most professional manner. Customer service would appear to be top of the agenda. Many thanks to Ian for an instant decision, even though he struggled to to determine whether it was morning or afternoon! And thanks to Kirsty for her patience when the photos failed to arrive. One happy customer.

The products are reasonable but I have found the aftersales warranty service to be the slowest I have ever known. This is the second tripod of theirs I have owned but I.am not inspired to buy another one. In these days when warranty work is so quick with manufacturers it is disappointing that this issue has dragged on for weeks and the Director Ian seems to hardly be in the office and I am always waiting for him to arrive the following week before I get a response as to what will happen next. It seems like a very small back street operation in the UK. I use my tripod professionally so if you do too, I would find a manufacturer that is more geared for professional after sales service. I don’t know how the others are getting such fast warranty service, it certainly hasn’t been like that for me. I could still be waiting another week or more yet until I get anything sorted which would mean the issue would have dragged from 3-4 weeks. I first contacted them on the 13th of April and it still hasn’t resolved. Hope this helps Steven After putting this review on trustpilot, Vanguard responded quickly and have replaced my tripod with a newer version. For this reason I have increased the rating from 2 to 3. Response Thanks for your response Ian. It took a while for you to ask me the model number of the tripod from the point at which I first contacted your office. Nowadays replacements for faulty goods are a matter of days to deliver by suppliers. Normally photographs are sufficient to show a fault and in my case I sent a video by email but you insisted in sending the part in to you. I could have easily sent a better video if you had asked for it and saved time. However you look at it it cannot be described as a fast service even if it took only 2 weeks. I do find that I need to follow up emails with a call to ensure that it is read in a timely manner.

I own quite a number of Vanguard World items, including Scopes, Tripods, Heads and other accessories. I am very pleased with everything I bought from them. I have had cause to contact Vanguard World a couple of times regarding their products. Each time my enquiry has been actioned immediately and, where necessary, a replacement has been sorted in rapid time. All the people I have spoken to are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for any of their products.

I ordered a Vanguard tripod from Amazon, but unfortunately when it arrived I found that one of the legs was stuck and wouldn't extend. I rang Vanguard, who first clearly talked me through how I might fix it (as I feared it was user error) and then, when it became clear that it wasn't working, offered to send me a replacement free of cost to arrive the following day. This was impressive enough, however when I emailed to confirm my address, I was told that they would send me the next model up as an apology. I was so impressed not only by their incredibly generous offer, but also by the prompt, friendly and personal nature of their customer service - even the Managing Director himself checked that I was now happy with my product, which I received within a day of providing my address. Now having received my new tripod, I have to say that it is a fantastic product. It's by far the best tripod I've used - I'll be sticking with Vanguard products from now on!

I was looking for a new head for my tripod, better suited to video panning and tilt. My photography and video work is entirely for leisure so I am no expert but I do appreciate quality gear. I found reviews of Vanguard products and while I was impressed I was unsure if their heads would fit my existing tripod. In addition, I was looking for guidance on which head would suit my needs. I wrote to Vanguard's support email address. I quickly received a reply from the managing director, Ian B, who suggested we have a discussion. He was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in helping me meet my needs. Thank you Ian. I am now the proud owner of an Alta PH-31 head which fitted easily on my existing tripod. My new video head is a gorgeous piece of engineering and gives me the smooth panning I was looking for. As a bonus, the video head delivers great value for money. Good service direct from a vendor is not something I experience very often but Vanguard's service is exceptional. I could not be more delighted and now consider myself a loyal member of the Vanguard family.

8 months after buying a Veo 235AB I managed to accidentally break part of the metal housing (where the ball head sits), to this day I have no idea how this happened but it was pretty cold (-12c, perhaps this contributed to the failure). Regardless of how it happened I contacted Vanguard World UK with a request to see if it could be fixed and how much that would cost as I assumed that it was outside of the warranty since I bought it from amazon. I initially thought that they were not responding to my emails, that is until i checked my spam box and found there super fast response hiding in there. From there on I couldn't have been more delighted with their customer service. They identified the issue and since it could not be fixed they sent me a new tripod, free of charge. Any issue that I had was quickly and responsively dealt with. I could not have asked for more! I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking one of their products!

I bumped into Ian from Vanguard at the Photography Show 2018 and asked if I was able to get some extra dividers for my Alta Rise 48 backpack. He asked me to drop him an email which I did and the dividers arrived within a few days. I can't speak highly enough of the service I received. Excellent customer service. Thoroughly recommend this company.

First encountered Ian of Vanguard World UK at the Photography Show where i bought the BBH 200 head and i was impressed with the quality and the help and advice given. I subsequently found that the head would not fit my entry level tripod. With Ian's help and guidance i choose the Alta Pro2+ 263CT which arrived yesterday and i am thrilled to bits as it will do all i want and much more
