RMS has twice sent out old used card machines to replace my faulty one. The latest one they sent won't work; we were told it is an outdated model. We received it from RMS that morning! The only way to get a working card machine is to sign up for a new contract and pay more money per month!!! We have spent hours talking to their useless support team in another country who don't know anything and are very difficult to understand. We are now trying to end our contract but they just pass us around for hours. No email contact for them works just phone numbers that are put to the same people. We have now been over 5 weeks without a fully working card machine! Do not use RMS

Steve Peters came to my office and explained everything in detail, he was patient when I didn't get back to him for a few weeks and came back to sign me up andtake me through everything. I could not have asked for a better experience.
Terrible company customer service terrible take money for rental wen we brought machine out right and don’t have replacement machine for weeks if it go wrong
Absolutely SHOCKING company!!!!! Avoid at ALL costs! Absolutely shocking company and customer care! We were told several times that we would be on a 30 day rolling contract and that there were no additional fees to what we had been quoted/told... completely the opposite! Customer service department do not have a clue! Do not respond to you at all. We have had several additional charges on our bill and also several payments taken that we don’t even know what it’s for, not to mention the fact we have been charged for a merchant account that hasn’t been set up plus another we never even took out!! We have been on the phone constantly. We have been over charged 3 months ago and still awaiting this money to be returned. The worst part is the man who came in to “sell” us these machines blatantly lied to both myself and my daughter saying there is no contract when in fact when you try to cancel they claim there is.. BE AWARE! We have a copy of one of the agreements which clearly states a termination date of 1 month from the sign up date!!!! But still expect us to pay them £1,500 to cancel and this is their offer against our complaint! Absolutely not!! We will be taking this further and will not be paying any more money to this shocking company!
Would give zero stars if I could! Atrocious service! Difficult to understand customer service staff who are pretty incompetent at sorting out problems. Left my business without the ability to take card payments for two weeks resulting in losing thousands of pounds worth of business. Needless to say I now ditched RMS/Elavon and found a much better provider.
i have been asking for someone to call me but nothing rms could not be anymore helpful when they wanted me to have they card machine now they dont contact me i have had rubbish service from the they were good to start but really bad now if you waNT TO KEEP BUSSINESSES then contact them and help them i still need contacting by someone who can help not noone who cant understand me
Trying to get a couple card machines replaced as the battery does not last very long. Should be a simple request. I've spoken to numerous 'support' staff who seem to think I am lying about what card machine I am using. They seem to tell me that it is impossible that I am using a VX 680 terminal and also that the PTID number I've provided is incorrect. On two occasions I have emailed with pictures to prove that I am indeed using VX 680's and the PTID I provided is correct. How ridiculous! They also state that it is impossible for me to be using the VX 680 with EPOSnow. We have 9-10 of these machines and are fully integrated with EPOSnow and have been working for 3-4 years! It is not my fault your system seems to show I am using something else or the numbers do not match. Not my problem. All I want is a simple replacement because of the battery issue. I don't even need new terminals, just send some new batteries! Customer support, if you can even call it that, is an absolute joke and of no help whatsoever. I would avoid this organisation at all costs. They draw you in, and then fail to support you and try to make you feel like an idiot and a liar. Where do I start . Absolutely shocking company . Sales rep dean Scott made all the promises but when I needed to speak to him he dissappears. No answer from call or text . Contacted Carrie Norman who is the business development advisor and now she doesn't answer any calls Ring customer service number and they are just terrible . I filled a complaint and that apparently takes 4 to 6 weeks to assess. 3 weeks passed and iv had no contract and 3rd party charges with no supported invoices Ring customer services and asked for manager . Apparently all busy . Told me they will ring back but still nothing . Called again and told they will call back ,again nothing . I have now contacted the ombudsman and my solicitor regards the matter . I have asked on numerous occasions for my contract and breakdown of charges . I have also asked for my virtual contract to be terminated . Going around and around in circles . Think this will evidently go to court . Shocking company avoid at all costs or it will be rocky road .

Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. We are a social club and during our contract that is due to end, our card machines have been out of action more than in action. RMS never call back, they never fix your problem. We even bought a stand alone machine to keep some kind of card payments going. They constantly blame epos (the till basically) 3 different calls today all ended by them after being on hold and a survey popping up, once its answered the call ends. Started at 9.00a.m. it's now 2.54 p.m. still no further forward other than 3 surveys telling them how awful they are.
It seems like we are not the only ones with a dreadful experience & I wish I had read these reviews sooner. Late/no show meetings, terrible call handlers, empty promises, threatening letters & zero customer service skills.
Really impressed with the service we received from Andrew Miller. He sorted everything out, even the PCI, which is a huge bonus. He is there on the phone or email if you have any queries. Also, probably equally important, saved us a lot of money for our card machine and transactions. Win, win. Can't beat great customer service.

Definitely contenders for the worst business I've had the misfortune of dealing with in 28 years of running a business. I'll be terminating my contract with them as soon as possible. Beware!
I can honestly say, I've never dealt with a worse company. If negative stars were an option they would get a bucket full. Customer service is terrible, the attitude of the call handlers leaves an awful lot to be desired. Call backs are promised but never materialise, always excuses. I would absolutely not recommend RMS to anybody, they will drive you mad while their poor service adversely affects your business. Steer well clear
