I ordered the item online got it delivered to my local dealership, the did a PDI (pre delivery inspection) the dealer called me to say it was ready when I arrived they person asked me if there was anything they go do in way of showing me how to operate the item. Bought CS45 chainsaw just over 12 months ago, had no real need to use except for the odd occasion, so maybe used for 1/2 hour on 12 months. Have now use for saw, but after 1 - 2 days use find it need new oil pump, which is taking an eternity to be delivered. Not happy at all, if this is a reliable chains saw, would not like to own a bad one. Disgusted. UPDATE on 12/1/17. Saw was repaired after a wait of 6 days. It now is hard to start, liable to stall as motor has no power, will go to full throttle but put a load on and it stops and it stinks of petrol. This info has been sent to Mitox today, and no response which reading other Trustpilot revues seems to be standard. The worst buy ever made, be warned.

Ordered a 430UX brushcutter directly from MITOX.co.uk, was delivered very quickly. As this is a machine advertised as semi-professional gardener/farmer type machine, I assumed it would be up to the task. Not the case. I assembled the machine exactly as the manual & not being an engineer of any kind, this was easy. Fuel in the correct ratio was added & then I started up & ran for a few minutes. All good. Then when I needed to use it for it's intended purpose, the starter mechanism thing didn't work any more. I have contacted MITOX via 3 emails & left a voicemail, but I had no response to my problem. Don't touch them, they are rubbish at making contact. I will return the machine to them & require full refund & courier charges & certainly will not buy another of their products. Anyone from MITOX reading this is welcome to contact me on email & I will be very willing to discuss this with them, but I'm not holding my breath.

I assembled the Stimmer and set off strimming the cord broke very easily, after about 10 minutes & the third cord break I but it away. when I revisited the strimmer I found that one of the cord guides missing. Contacted Mitox and they supplied a new head by post the next day (very good). Fitted the new head/spool and set off again - still the cord breaks easily (must be poor quality) then whilst strimming the whole head falls off!! with the square drive hanging out about 10". it would appear that this assembly is held on with one small screw. This unit is going back for a full refund.

I have never received such outstanding service and backup explaination when purchasing a piece of equipment from the Internet. Brilliant,well done Mitox and your Agent the Tractor Shed

Good service from them but their web site is misleading when showing the amount of oil supplied with the machine. The picture looks like a 500ml container, whereas in fact only a 100ml is supplied. This is not clarified anywhere in the description.

Looks decently made. But the problems started within a few days of light use. Kept cutting out, and wouldn't run properly. As I've read that the original filters disintegrate and clog the carburettor on these machines, I cleaned and rebuilt the carb with new gaskets etc, replaced the fuel line and filter with non-Mitox parts, used new fuel. No improvement. So I bought a new carburettor, and again replaced the fuel lines and filter. Ran better for half-an-hour, then the same problems reappeared. Now it won't run above idle speed, and I don't know what else I can do. Update, August 11th 2023: Two seasons ago, and in desperation, having previously replaced the carburettor twice to no avail, I tried replacing the ignition coil. Magic! The machine has worked well since 2021 – until last week. Now, the original problem has re-emerged – the machine keeps cutting out, especially at higher revs. So once again, I'm ordering a new ignition coil . . . Further update, January 2024: Well, the new ignition coil worked for several months; but the same problem has now reoccurred. So I've finally had enough. I took the machine down to the local recycling centre, and have bought another make of hedgetrimmer . . .

tool good but I Should have ask about if the other tools fitted from my old 27 mitox 1st because they have change the connecting rod from square to a star fitting so old tool do not fit ie brushcutter/ chainsaw/ extension rod
