I have been looking for a multi-tool for some months have used a 52cc machine and found it heavy,I have two allotments and some hedges at home so wanted something to do jobs at them all this was the perfect tool

Have not had a chance to try the mechanic in a bottle out yet but if it is anything like the speedy service received from Mitox it will be excellent. Ordered the product Friday afternoon and it was delivered Saturday morning.

I chose to collect the hedge trimmer, but it was sent to a different retailer although one in the same city, thus delaying the collection.

cheap and nasty construction with petrol pipes and grommets that perish with the potential to turn you into a ball of fire.The motor head has an iffy carb. can be difficult to start and keep running at revs. Changing attachments is very hit and miss- difficult at best.Pole pruner has a flimsy plastic guard that hold the chain saw in place, this fills up with plant debris and splits frequently.Hedge trimmer jams easily and is a pain to use.The strimmer is OK but too heavy for prolonged use.Marketed as a quality product when it really isn,t ! and the spares are expensive. My Mitox is going to the tip, it,s just not worth the bother of owning it.

Cheap and not very well built. I've had 2 mitox strimmers, with the first one lasting 3 years. The fuel plugs can leak out of the box, they seem poorly constricted and won't last very long. On the plus side when they do run they are ok. If you can invest in a decent brand, efco, stihl etc. They'll last 2-3 times as long and you'll have much less hassle with them!

I ordered a long reach petrol hedge trimmer after reading good reviews. The item was delivered as promised on the next working day and I assembled it fairly easily. It started easily also and I have used it once so far with no problems. It is quite heavy but I have not used any other makes so cannot compare it. I am happy with it though, it is ideal for my requirements.

Purchased mitox hedge cutter approx. 18 months ago ,had nothing but trouble ,it ran ok for the first couple of times I used it ,but after that continually cuts out after 10 to 20 mins of use, then will not restart , taken it to local repair shop , he cleaned the carb and all seemed fine for 20 mins , but cut out again and refused to start , not the best bit of kit iv purchased , probably should have purchased a lightweight electic battery operated g tec

Just bought a mitox 28mt. Started great but engine smoking a little when hot, is this usual?

I hope it is just teething problems, but the cord does not feed through as it should and I am having great problems releasing the mechanism to try to unwind the cord manually

Excellent machine. The harness could be better in that there isn't much adjustment on it.

Does not store very well.The cutting blade does not fold all the way to the shaft therefore stays either straight or L shaped this does not make it easy to transport. Also does not connect easily to the shaft.

Ordering and delivery perfect, only used the strimmer so far and that was very powerful getting ready to use the bushcutter.
