I've made some brilliant discoveries building my family tree.
ONLY A SLIGHT HICCUP Having added my Gr.grandmother to the Family Tree on Findmypast, I discover there is a spacious rectangle of pink, with no added information. That I worked on is sitting aside hopeful that someone will remove the empty box. There was my g.grandfather, next to this spacious rectangle and then my g.grandmother with her information. I do not know how to eliminate the rectangle with no information to allow the one with my information to sit along side my g.grandfather. It looks as though he married twice as it is. It has been a pleasure to be able to add and control what goes up for the general public to see. Thank you for the assistance Findmypast has given me.

Found my grandfathers, who all fought in WW1
The latest HTML based version of this program is RUBBISH - it duplicates people in the tree adding grandsons as brothers or daughters as sisters. It cannot handle anybody born before 1000AD and produces stupid entries like people born at 640 years old. It is not fit for purpose and do not pay a years subscription as like me you will end up with a worthless waste of money.
Difficult to find someone! Got minimum information and couldn't progress further!
Unless you are prepared to pay the subscription there's no point in using the sight.you get what you pay for.
Very good site
I started putting up my family tree but seem unable to add anyone further than grandparents. It comes up numerous hints but when I click on this nothing happens. I find a rival site easier to use.
Its very easy to use and with the hints coming through it keeps me occupied and loving it,
Easy to use and lots of useful information
Disappointed you don't do a 6mths subscription. The 1mth and 3mth is not cost effective and the 12mths is too expensive.
Lots of information and records, but it does come up with the "Oops, something's gone wrong our side" error quite a lot...which is frustrating. Otherwise, it's good.
The fact that you were able to correlate information from various records made it a lot more simple.
