I have found a lot of things that the others once does. Also I like the percentage as well.

I haven't used the site too much. I had a little difficulty putting in some information. Once I figured that out I was pleased with the hints that showed up with two of the names I entered. I definitely will be doing more research and adding more names.

I'm finding family i havnt even heard of, it's interesting to see what your family did for jobs back in the day, but you also find out family secrets that have been hidden for many years

I know it was a free trial but It was hard to find some details or how to search properly. It did not tell me anything I did not already know.

Incorporating newspapers into the site is fantastic, the more the better. Facility for DNA recording and analysis would be good.

I can find out more about my dad's side of the family as we don't know much about them the only downside I'd say is you need to pay to access some content.

I have used findmypast over many years with good results but intermittently Back in the day, as they say, I could then buy one off subscriptions to use as I pleased Now, as I understand it, I have to sign up By direct debit which I do not want to do as I am not that active researching often - I am 90 years old - can you help me please ? I already had a good idea of my family tree but lost information on another site. I find the hints are good and at certain times of the year you get to search free over a weekend. I feel sometimes though they are giving me hints for information I have provided

I can’t access my account because of the hoops I have to go through and the poor help I have from the computer.

Using find my past was difficult. It just seemed to pick up on what I put in, rather than linking to new information. Documents were often only available on other websites. It was extremely difficult to build a family tree and get people into the right place on the tree.
