Your engineer Steve expertly fitted our new front door today - we are so pleased with it. All members of staff from the first phonecall to final installation have been so helpful. Thank you everyone.

We had to have two floor tiles replaced under guarantee in our 7 year old conservatory. Dunraven sent two workmen today who did the work promptly and without fuss. They both were polite and cheerful and cleaned up properly at completion of their work. They both are a credit to your company. Well done Dunraven!

Having recently bought a property with a conservatory with just over 6 years guarantee on it, I contacted Dunraven Windows as we had water coming in, only to be told the guarantee isn’t transferable. What an absolute cop out. The guarantee should be on the property not the owners, what do they think people do when they sell a house, dismantle the conservatory and take it with them? Poor poor service. Would definitely never use this company or recommend however good the work may be.

Problem after problem. Mainly couldn't get the door open. Despite the fire hazard we had to wait weeks to get door fixed. Surveyor actually laughed at our door choice. We wrote 3 Emails about our concern, not a single one was answered. Once you sign it takes months to get the door. Unbelievably we wasn't asked if we wanted a door handle, so we didn't get one just a thumb key which is very painful to open. The list goes on. Avoid at all costs. All workmen I would rate highly but customer service is shameful. We regret choosing Dunraven.

I had found the company great when we had work in Cardiff mnay years ago. When we moved to Aberdare and had work done, the work was good. However no matter how many times I ask the company to stop ringing me (I have requested this in excess of 6 times), they do not remove my details. Yet again today they rang. I asked for a manager to ring back so I could complain about lack of data protection and have heard nothing from them! So be aware that once they have your details they do not delete them from their databases.

I made the mistake about 2 years ago of giving this company my contact number when they knocked my door cold calling. What a mistake that was. All I've had since is phonecalls constantly pressurising to have a quote, no matter how many times I tell them I'm not interested it makes no difference. I would never even consider using a company who use such pressurising sales tactics, if anything it just convinces me more that it's a company I wouldn't go near. This is my experience not even as a customer so I can only imagine what the service would be like if I was an actual customer! Bullying people in to taking quotes whether they want one or not is not good business or customer service. I so far have multiple numbers of theirs blocked which I will continue doing until they get the message, since telling them seems to make no difference.

A new roof was fitted to our conservatory - the one it replaced wasn't smart but it was watertight. The job was done in Oct/Nov 2021 and ever since I have been battling for 2 leaks to be repaired. To start with, Dunraven sent men on their own with a tube of filler. Eventually, after much remonstration from me, they sent 2 guys who were expert and identified that 2 panels had been cut to the wrong size; they did a temporary fix and said that the correct panels would now be produced and fitted. That was about a year ago and it hasn't happened. Moreover, the temporary fix has failed and another leak has started. We have to move furniture around and put bowls in place if it looks like rain. Why don't they sort this out? Why do they constantly ignore my messages? Potential customers, stay well clear of Dunraven Windows!!!

From the sales lady in Abergavenny to the rep, Matthew Baker, to the surveyor and then the fitting lads, Nathan, Javal, we have had a very good experience. The whole house has been done and yes, whilst our savings may be gone, we now have fabulous new, grey exterior windows, French doors, rear door and front door (which is my favourite of the lot). No problems with any one as regards contact, explaining designs/prices and fitting. Follow up phone call to check that we are happy and so far we are very happy.

Awful company , take heed of the bad reviews ,they are genuine. They guarantee the work for ten years for a reason . Longevity is not their game!!!

Friendly and easy consultation with Greg Bennett. Very Informative of all our options but didn't pressure us into making any quick decisions, patient and understanding throughout.

Harassment !! Further calls and cold callers chancing a sale at the privacy of your own home ….. this needs to stop its aggressive sales techniques … I have had several calls on my phone and explained to take my name off the system yet no one has listened …. Numerous chancing salesmen knocking my door … how can I get it through … you’re not wanted or welcome and will never purchase from you !!! Any more calls or knocking my door I will take this legal …. Worse than Jehovah witnesses!!! Stay away like I told your last salesmen and several people on the phone …

Cannot get hold of rep who came to my home (boasting his uncle had an MBE). Reputable Company (he said). Poor communication with staff. Building Inspector very rude, as I wanted to delay work due to monsoon rain and thunder and lightening. Letter sent to Head of Company. Doubt he will get it. Work started today (25/09/23). Very poor. Not happy. Await a response from letter and calls. GO ELSEWHERE.

Sadly the rep insisted I wouldn’t be able to sign anything without my husband being present - which he categorically refuses to be. Therefore not going anywhere with this company. Had the ‘if you can’t sign now you’ll lose the scrappage deal offered by the Government’. Also informed that no company will come to me if my husband isn’t present? Oh, really!!!!!

My recent experience: One of Dunraven Windows representatives visited my property as he was in the area "cold calling". I showed interest in having some new windows to compliment existing and a conservatory. I signed up for these items a paid a deposit on the premise that existing windows and doors be re-sealed. The representative assured me that these additional works could be undertaken. These works require no structural changes. All I requested was the gaps around the doors and windows to be sealed properly. This was the only reason I signed up for the additional works I require. Another representative attended to measure up and I also advised him of the additional works I require. He noted the remedial works I required. At no point did I ask or expect these works to included in a guarantee for the new works to be undertaken. All I wanted was for Dunraven to seal the gaps from drafts. I also explained to the original representative that I wanted these works itemise and billed separately so that I could advise the original supplier of these additional costs I had incurred due to their incompetence. The original representative assured me that Dunraven were a good local family owned company, clearly not. I have only received a call to say the works could not be completed as the additional works would not be covered. It is obvious that Dunraven personnel didn't communicated with each other to explain my requirements. As a company Dunraven were very eager to take my money, and then make false promises and let me down. Furthermore, despite being promised a call from your organisation to arrange reimbursement I have had to contact you 4 working days later, namely today. The representative I spoke to advised that I would be credited today, sadly there is no confirmation of this or anything in my bank account. I expected this money to be credited into my account no later than 12pm tomorrow (Thu 17 Aug). Unfortunately I had to contact Dunraven again as no money had hit my account by 12pm on Thu 17 Aug. I spoke to Katie in Cancellations who seemed to have quite an attitude towards me as an unhappy customer, and really wasn't interested in my complaint, probably as she was only part of the cancellations department and obviously not a customer service representative. At this point I was advised that the cancellation period usually takes longer and my refund request was being fast tracked and that I would have to wait up to 10 working days to receive my refund. I was also advised that a 1st class letter was being sent today confirming the cancellation and refund. I found this strange as previous correspondence had been via email; which in this day and age is a much more effective way of communication. I am disgusted with the lack of service, understanding and communication received from Dunraven. The staff/representatives clearly do not know how to communicate with each other, let alone prospective customers. Update 18/08/23 Refund deposited into my account. Later same day, received letter from Katie in Cancellations at Dunraven: "In reference to your order place on date, we can confirm your order has now been cancelled and your file closed. Please find enclosed your refund receipt for the total of £XXX Thank you for considering Dunraven Windows for your home improvements." There was no apology for being mis-sold the windows or explanation. Since this dreadful experience I have done some research and there are very few positive reviews about Dunraven, many of the experiences relate to "cold calling", harassing phone calls, poor workmanship and mis-sold products. In short do not use this company as they are not worth wasting your valuable time or hard earned money.

Had the door to door knockers....said the usual crap....working in your area. We need new fascia, soffit, guttering, windows, doors, conservatory/sun room. Took my details to make a booking to measure and quote. Someone called and said as we are a married couple we both have to be present when reps calls! Not convenient really but booked for today Saturday 5th August 2023 @ 12:00. It is now 17:00 and we have had NO communication from Dunraven! What a waste of our time. You definitely will not be getting our business when you can't even be bothered to turn up to quote!!
