We had our orangery built in February/ March 2023. We were happy with how we were kept up to date with notice prior to work starting and then during the build. On the whole the workmen were pretty tidy and little damage/ mess was left or made. Minor snagging was completed promptly and over a year later we still love our orangery.

We’ve used Dunraven twice now and will be using them again in the future. Had our door done first and it was so quick getting done and the guys were brilliant. We’ve just had our windows done and we couldn't be happier with them.

Dunraven started our orangery July and we had nothing but problems from the start. Delayed building, at one point the electricians turned up and the wall hadn't been built weeks into starting. Constant phone calls asking if we were happy with our orangery even though it hadn't been built. Delays throughout, wall rushed and still to this date looks shabby and concrete falling out and loose bricks, pointing never done. Waited weeks for the internal wall to be knocked out, waited weeks for the floor to be tiled. Paid to have a step which they said they couldn't do but would refund 350 pounds back to me, still to this day not received. Leaking guttering and now we have ants coming in from the loose corner brick on the wall. Never call you back, quick enough to get your money but totally unreliable. I really wished we had not bothered with this company complete headache throughout. Avoid like the plague! Finally finished the floor mid January 2024 still waiting for pointing and my cheque and now the wall is crumbling.

We have just had two bay windows installed in our Edwardian house. That follows on from other bay windows we had installed in the last 20 years also by Dunraven. We went with Dunraven this time because previously we had a good experience and the product has turned out to be good - but this time the experience was different. The problem with Dunraven is not the product, but their installation of the product. It is shambolic! When we ordered the windows back in December 2023, we had an install start date of 26th Feb. That came and went. We had to chase and chase them to get a new date. Eventually they started on 21st March. Only they didn't start that day, because the scaffolding that was agreed as essential with their surveyor, had been cancelled in favour of scaffolding towers, and the workmen who came immediately said that wasn't going to work. So that lost two days at the start. The surveyor was warned that we have cavity wall insulation and that the small polystyrene beads would escape if allowed to do so when the old windows were removed. Instead of taking measures to contain the beads, the workmen just went ahead with no plan, and we had beads raining down the house wall. So we now have lost insulation and we have a real mess in our garden - and they didn't clear it up, despite being asked to do so. They admitted "it could take years" to pick them all up - so that's a job left to us to do. We ordered custom guttering for a 5 sided bay window. Standard guttering is of no use, it has to be made to order to match non-standard angles. The workmen kept on turning up with the wrong sort of guttering, and we had to repeatedly ring the office to remind them what they had agreed to do. Part of the problem was that the work crews varied every few days. One lot would come, and they would be replaced by different lot who had no idea either what the previous guys had done, or what the job entailed. The crews were not adequately equipped. Jobs like this make a mess. So a hoover is an essential. They didn't have one. So they borrowed our domestic hoover and then complained when it wasn't man enough for the job! Having "started" 21st March, a job initially pencilled in for 2 - 3 days took until 5th April to finish. That's 10 working days, instead of 3, further delayed by Easter falling in the middle of it. I'm afraid Dunraven have let their standards slip badly. I could not recommend them now to anyone as an installer of their products.

Had windows fitted 2021 Firstly the day the windows were fitted one was missing off the van so work could not be collected that day. Secondly, one pain of glass was put in back to front so had to get them back again to have it corrected. Thirdly no trickle vents were offered, windows were fitted in the summer, come winter the condensation was horrific, I now have to deal with black mould in all three bedrooms and our living room. Called to ask why weren’t trickle vents offered and I was just told “you’ll have to phone another department about that.” Letter box fell off front door that we had fitted by the company. Having had fitted 5 windows and front door, I still, 3 years on, have at least one call a fortnight asking do I want more work. I’ve asked numerous times to be removed off the call list and clearly ignored. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

I would like to thank Dunraven for the professional way they dealt with my order for 5 windows and 3 patios. Don gave me the confidence (after lengthy discussion) to place the order at agreed price. Surveyer Gavin took his time measuring and got it right. The fitters I must commend. Excellant tradesmen - two brothers Dan and Mike. Job finished in the 3 days budgeted. Very pleased with the overall performance. Well done. Gerald and Janice

From start to finish I was kept informed of what was going to happen. I was telephoned and asked if they could come a day early. The men were very pleasant. Taking care to cover my carpet. They were helpful with removing my blind and replacing it when they had finished. They also replaced my net curtain which I had managed to remove. They carried out the work efficiently and to an excellent finish.

Visited by a cold caller saying they were working in the area and visiting neighbouring properties and had I considered changing any of my windows. I could arrange for a rep to call and send me a quote for any work I felt I needed and I then had 18 months to get back to them and have the work done at that price. He stressed that they would not pester me, it was up to me to contact them. On the day agreed a rep called. By the time he left I felt that I had been mentally backed into a corner and bullied into paying £500 there and then to get the identified work done. He quoted prices of £8,500, £10,500 and £6,500. The lower price was only available if I paid £500 deposit there and then and sign the contract. When I asked for a day to think about it and could he send me a written quote he said no, he wasn’t going to spend his time writing a quote for £10,500 which I wouldn’t take up as I wasn’t accepting a much lower quote of £6,500. No interest finance was available but only if I had all the work done altogether and not in stages. I am an elderly female on a pension, he obviously saw me as an easy target. After he left with my £500 deposit I was shaking inside and felt sick at the thought of committing to spending £6,500. I have hypertension and my blood pressure was extremely high. After speaking to my brother and other family members I phoned the company and cancelled the order under my right to cancel within two weeks. If this is the face Dunraven wants to promote I advise people NOT TO LET THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOUSE.

Just to say we are more than happy with our new conservatory. We did have a few up and downs but this was rectified almost immediately by Gareth who was absolutely fantastic. We are delighted with the finished product we love it. Thank you again Dunraven and especially a big thank to Gareth. Mr & Mrs Stone. Tewkesbury

Excellent service from Dunraven… Excellent service from Dunraven Windows. We had an idea of what we wanted but never thought it would be the orangery of our dreams. We have had a very large orangery built with the most amazing full glass roof. The whole build with Dunraven went really well, from the planning to the build to the final touches for completion. All paperwork completed by Dunraven and very little for us to worry about. The builders, window fitters, plasterers and electricians were all excellent and made us feel confident in the work being completed. There were a couple of things that we wanted to change as the build was progressing and nothing was too much trouble. I found everyone really approachable. We are absolutely over the moon with our new orangery, it has changed our home and family living. Thanks Dunraven, we'll be back to you for more work in the future.

Cannot recommend this company enough!! From the start of choosing our new windows to them being installed, Dunraven Windows were very Professional and Helpful The windows were fitted by two amazing teams with no mess at all. The windows look amazing and are of very high quality. Will definitely be using Dunraven again for future projects in the house.

We have recently used Dunraven to do all of our windows, including a bespoke ‘lantern’ in our new extension. We could not be more pleased. The teams that worked on our project were fantastic and the fit has been excellent (and this includes Dave the Surveyor, who was fantastic and gave us some great ideas). Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future. Thank you all!

I wish there was a zero star rating. This company is an absolute shambles. We were told that the project would be fully managed by them as part of the price quoted and would be completed within a week. The project began in May and was not near to completion until October. It is now almost 3 years later and we are still not complete, as some imbecile somewhere has never completed building regs and these have not passed, owing to the brick layer failing to place simple vents in the brickwork. Sean and other layers of management or authority, have been completely useless and unhelpful and yet their remit as managers is to ensure that staff and contractors work to a high standard. These standards are not monitored and not kept. They are also responsible for having staff knock on our door at 7am in the morning, insisting we sign completion documentation that would lead to pressure for payment! Customer service has been far from “serviceable” and yet they are happy to call persistently to ask us what work we would like completed next - what a joke! Do not touch this company if you want your project managed or completed. We would have been better to have hired each of the trades individually and managed it ourselves, as we have effectively had to chase them at every stage of this project and we are still relentlessly trying to get to a conclusion 3 years later. Appalling.
