I decided on Dunraven for my conservatory as I watched a neighbour's being built and completed within timeframe. They also plaster and tile floor if required so it's ready to use. Surveyor went through all the detail, answered my queries and my requests were accommodated. All the team worked hard and helped each other. Everyone did what they said they would. I am delighted with the result.
Front door fitted in Sept 23 and battled with Dunraven to get the issues resolved due to manufacturing faults which left my property vulnerable for almost 10 months Despite numerous visits the engineers failed to identify the incompatible locking system, I had to email Dunraven with the correct parts and they still could not resolve. Abysmal knowledge from engineers and visit after visit until they finally replaced the door set in full in Aug 24 Due to the bad experiences I would not use or recommend Dunraven Pushy hard sales and constant phone calls to sell other home improvement products Stay well clear as it not worth the hassle
It is the worse window company for after sales service if out of warranty they told me they do not come out to repair even when I am paying every. Engineer I’ve used have not got a good word for them standard work very poor would not recommend them
Having used this company for doors and conservatory I thought we would get a good care package throughout the guarantee. Not long before faults started to appear and had to call them out on several occasions. To say the service is bad is an understatement. They are quick to pester you on the phone for more work but as soon as you want problems sorted you will be left wanting. They do not carry on the ten year guarantee to new home owners so it is not worth the paper it is written on . Avoid as you can see over a third of the customers on these reviews given the lowest possible rating so what does that tell you .
Great service from planning to finish. The area was cleaned and secured at the end of the day. Small additional items were addressed by the team to an excellent standard. Daily communications of tomorrows activity was also useful. All home improvements create disruption to the home and the teams worked hard to make it as smooth and quick as possible. Cheers
We have now had an orangery, a front and back door and two bathroom windows. The latest work was completed to a high standard by professional fitters who took a pride in their workmanship. The father and son team were excellent in all aspects. Thank you
Having had a Conservatory built which I am happy with..However I have had a Snag which has been there since just after completion day .. April 2024..now we are August 2024 and still waiting for this to be resolved..too many Excuses Dunraven 🙁
I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to think again. We have had some terrible issues with them. Sub standard work, tradesmen turning up then leaving saying the will be back, but you don't see them again. Lack of communication between tradesmen and office. And very poor customer service. It would seem we are going to have to get the finance company involved before we seek legal advice.
Expensive, excessive finance fee which makes it worst, fitting problems, every windows has warped ( to be fair they replaced one) but it's warped again. French doors leak. They all need replacing and I havent even paid off the finance. So don't bother.
Extremely pushy sales operation.... insist on all adults in the house being available for quote which although I understand their thought process comes across as terrible customer service.
Just had all our windows replaced back and front. Great service, excellent workmanship and a brilliant finish. Big shout out to Steph and Ryan what a team, can't thank you guys enough. Would also like to thank Nigel for ensuring supplies were available to the boys in order to complete the job and the office team for being so helpful and professional. Customer Service was 1st Class!!!!
Interesting company. I had a lovely gentleman come around to measure the windows to be told the next day that my partner had to be there to be able to give me a quote. When I explained that I owned the house they refused to give me the quote without speaking to my partner first. I am a single female
I wouldn’t recommend Dunraven to anyone. We bought new windows for the whole house back In November which cost 11k for 9 windows. Our old windows had been in the house since 1995 so we were well overdue. They promised a first class service but delivered a shoddy job in my opinion. Things they did wrong - made us have trickle vents as they said this was a legal requirement for all new windows. Although I’m not sure on reflection that this is true - damaged outside concrete window sill - damaged wall in my sons room - installed windowsill too short - jammed one windowsill right to the radiator so we couldn’t use it - installed window in bathroom so that it wasn’t flush - chipped a chunk out of the newly installed windowsill - 5 handles were loose - misting in one of the windows - workmanship was really below par and the windows seem less sound proof that my old ones from 1995! Things they did right - revisited once to sort the outside windowsill, the inside windowsills, handles and bathroom window - had to revisit again! To replace the misted window Even though they resolved most of the snags, the work done was horrendous and really too much upheaval to resolve when you pay 11k you expect pristine work. Plus literally a week later, they were on the phone (after telling them I wouldn’t use them again) trying to sell me more! They ring bi monthly since too!
Where do I start, Awful service from start to finish. Fitted new front to my conservatory & broke large glass panel in the roof. The workers then left me for over a month with just a piece of hardboard covered in tarpolin, causing water damage to my laminate flooring, also leaving broken glass everywhere. Also fitted a new composite front door, breaking a glass panel, leaving me with cardboard over it for a month. The management are a shambles, never answering calls, the company then had the cheek to turn up after the job was eventually finished,(when I was in work) to take photos asking if we were pleased with the job/service. AVOID at all costs, on reflection a very stressful 6 weeks, for my wife & I.
Just had my dunraven windows and cladding installed by two brilliant fitters Josh and George. I highly recommend them both, they were very helpful, polite and respectful at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. They both did a brilliant job and I would have them back to do more work for me anytime. There work and professionalism was outstanding and there mantra is “we fit all windows as if it is our own home “ and I can honestly say that we couldn’t have asked for more.
great commuication ,ETA to the agrement, quality of work delivered by Ron & Dylan was over and above so helpful great attiude and appitude from start to finish to complete our new french doors installation then great customer service with Nigel from Dunraven office to discuss the works that had been delivred if we were happy with them all i could say brillant all round
This company is quick to take your money then any issues they pass you around. Leaking ceiling damp coming through plastered walls faulty lock. Give an appointment time of 11 an then I contact them at 12 to.be told he's coming to you telling us it's because we live far away !! Shoddy workmanship. The service manager well he's a joke just turned it around as if it's our fault. I hope Wayne Trigg CEO sees this. Absolutely disgusting treatment of a customer who spent over 25,000.00 Claire Bamford
Unreliable, unprofessional company which didn’t attend the appointment made for a price quote. If they couldn’t be bothered with this imagine how they’ll be if you need to make a warranty claim. This is the second time they’ve let me down. They won’t get another chance.
We had a conservatory fitted in February 2024, we really like the overall look and are mostly satisfied with the construction and the teams who carried out the work. What we are not happy with, hence the 1star review, is the after care. During the fitting of the door frames they broke our outside light, which they said they would replace and fit, No they have not. The patio door has dropped and although they responded to the first request to lift it back into place, so my elderly mother could open it (which they did) it has dropped again, only this time NO ONE responds to our calls, emails or messages through social media. Now my mother can only stare out the windows and doors as the door is NOT FIT for purpose, that being to OPEN the patio door. Our gate post also sustained injury when the cement truck knocked into it, dislodging it from its anchor, again NO response from DUNRAVEN. I would love to give a higher rating if only SOMEONE would respond from DUNRAVEN..... Not a happy customer at this point.
I had a quote several years ago and didn’t go ahead. I receive sales calls about once a year. I agreed to get another quote recently, the salesman was pushy and talked me into a signing a contract. I checked the small print to see what the cooling off period was before I signed it. I emailed to cancel and rang them back after a voicemail. I was told not to bother them again after wasting their time.
