Have recently moved home and had new windows and two new doors within the last few weeks. We had several quotes and decided on DUNRAVEN as this appeared to be a smart, professional firm. The salesmen were well dressed and prepared and offered a competitive price. All follow up was as arranged with prompt service and no appointments required rescheduling. The fitters Phil and Ceri were bang on time on the two days they worked at our house. The worked as great team, were very chatty and friendly without being intrusive. They left after clearing up well, having worked extremely hard. Very respectful fitters. Give these guys a bonus!!! A lot of time was spent fitting the doors as this proved to be the most challenging aspect of the work. They were very keen to get the job just right and it is clear they take a pride in their workmanship. Follow up has been great and we now have smart, snug and effective double glazing which is a treat. Thanks, DUNRAVEN.
We chose Dunraven when we decided to renew our double glazing because we had already bought a front door from them and the quality was excellent The service we received from the salesman to the installers was great and now we are very pleased with our latest purchase. The only reason it's not five stars is due to having to straighten out order placed with salesman , but over all as yet the doors are were well fitted, the fitter was very tidy , polite, and competent
Dunraven recently completed a conservatory and patio for me, my wife and I couldn't be more happy with the results. All the tradesmen who worked on the project were first class and were happy to answer any questions I had. The head office kept me informed of progress from first contact to completion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dunraven to anyone who is looking for doors, windows or a conservatory, one happy customer.
We recently employed Dunraven to install a conservatory for us and we are exceptionally pleased with the end result. The materials used were of a high quality and the workmen were friendly, professional and trustworthy. We were kept informed throughout the process as to which tradesmen were coming next and when and all deadlines were met. We cannot comment as such on aftersales as have had no reason to complain! What we didn't realise was that another two family members also had Dunraven install their conservatories too! Clearly a good decision! We love our new room and when we are ready for new windows, it will be Dunraven we call.
We were communicated with at all stages and staff seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had good information and also arranged for us to visit another property to see a finished project before our work began. Work began as scheduled, we were told 15-18 working days, weather permitting. There was a two day delay in the delivery of the bricks (our house has variegated brickwork) but building work was done in a timely fashion. A concealed drain (bit of a surprise all round) was modified so that access was not lost by building over it. That impressed us. When the brick and insulation work was complete, the structure team moved in. This was so efficiently organised. Everyone knew what they were doing, electricians, plumbers and asterers all turned up at the right point, the work proceeded very quickly and efficiently. We were impressed by the amount of insulation materials that were used. Also, we were consulted on an ongoing basis on decisions/practicalities such as positions of radiator, lights, plugs, aerial etc. The various people who were working on our sunroom were lovely to talk to, polite but friendly and cracked on with the work throughout, despite the long drives involved to get to our house. The build was completed in 16 working days, including the two days lost. Instructions/advice on care given, clearing up done and generally everything as we had hoped. Since completion, other local people working on our kitchen/hall/bathroom (plumber, electrician, plasterer and tiler) have all complimented us on the quality and finish even though it's not decorated yet. We are very happy with the whole experience, so much so that we've ordered new doors for another part of our house. Thanks to all the people who worked to complete this so painlessly. Money well spent.
Dunraven mis sold / installed an inferior product / had bad aftercare / £32000 of my money and they don't care about putting any of it right / countless failed call backs / problem manager didn't care, avoid avoid avoid !!!! Bad business ! Do not deal with !
DO NOT have any quotes from these guys!!! We had patio doors installed 2 years ago and ever since then we have been bombarded with calls every single month trying to get more business from us. We've blocked their numbers and now we get calls from 'unknown' or 'no caller ID' When we were having the work done, I booked my last day off work to be there for the fitters and I had a call from the fitter saying they wouldn't be there as the other fitter had called in sick but one of the girls in the office would be in touch that day to rearrange. I heard nothing for nearly a week so I contacted them only to speak to the most awful woman. She spoke to me like I was something she scraped off the bottom of her shoe. After standing my ground she asked to speak to 'the man of the house' THE CHEEK OF THE WOMAN!!!!! I deal with most of the paperwork etc so I was entitled to be treated with respect. I put in a complaint to a senior member of staff who was a pleasure to speak to - and we had a big discount put on our file. The salesman (who cannot be named apparently) came out and was fabulous and can't thank him enough and the workmanship is fantastic should you get past all the crap!! All in all, fitters were great, the patio doors look lovely, the salesman was great but the office staff need retraining and the after service or should I say harassment needs to stop!!!!!
