Carol Boyce . After making formal complaint I expected a call back to apologise after more than 1 week i have heard nothing. Dunraven fitted conservatory the door always stuck but it had got worse. I asked twice that men wore mask as I am undergoing intense chemotherapy and my immune system very low.3 men turned up unannounced no masks..dont worry love we will go round back... was made feel like I was making fuss. Twice I have been hospitalised with infection. They needed to adjust door so had enter conservatory to do so. I sat in lounge in mask. Had to thoroughly clean after they had gone. All I asked was that it was explained to men that a common cold could kill me.and to be bit more sympathetic in future. ..no-one even bothered to get back to me. Poor show Dunraven not a cheap purchase and I won't be using again.

Saw the lady at Trago Mills, explained the last time I went for a quote they would only see me if my husband was present. WHY? It’s my home, my name on the deeds and mortgage so why cant they see me on my own. “Because he might not like my choice” It’s not pre 1900. I can make a decision on my own. I am a business woman that needs doors. The lady Tracey said this was not their protocol and would I try again. They called and again I’m still not allowed to order doors with out my husbands permission. I don’t and will not ask my husbands permission for anything I’m quite capable of making my own decisions. This is discrimination against women. I will take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely appalling service. Cancelled my order after 4 months without providing any explanation whatsoever after I have already incurred costs to enable the project to take place in a few days. The project was supposed to be split into two stages, one at the beginning of 2023 and the other at the end of the year to enable us to save up (wall removal and bifolds - completely unrelated). Unfortunately, out of nowhere the head office seemed to have a change of heart stating that we either pay them the full price or they won’t do it at all. This happened when we were due to book the date for them to start the work. In addition, both the salesman and the surveyor were more than happy for the projects to go ahead and everything seemed in order. They do not care about their customers at all.

Rude salesman - Jamie. Hard sale to elderly lady - my aunt. £5000 for front door and 1 window. ' I'm the nephew of owner, can do for £3500'. ' need to sign now' ' no this offer won't be available tomorrow ' never heard of 14 day cooling off period' . Disgusting sales technique for vulnerable pensioner.

Quality of windows was excellent. The workmen were quiet; efficient and cleaned up after the work was completed. They were very good with the vacuum cleaner!

We were looking for a company to provide a tiled roof for our conservatory and went to Dunraven, as they had previously replaced a number of windows for us and put french windows to our garden. They were excellent from beginning to end. From Anthony and David who were their sales people, to Gavin their surveyor and all the boys who came and did the actual work, we were very pleased and impressed with their professionalism, expertise and friendliness. We would definitely reccommend the company. Two people stand out, David Collier and the surveyor Gavin Hughes. David was a joy to meet and nothing was too much trouble. Gavin's experience and knowledge as a surveyor were invaluable and put our minds at rest that the job would be done to the highest specifications. Thank you Dunraven, you're the best.

Genuinely the worst company I have ever dealt with. We had a set of bifold doors installed, and nearly 6 months later we still have water coming in. The steel is still on show after stripping all plasterboard off due to mould growing. They send somebody to try something new, then literally don’t come back to complete the job. Our house is till unfinished after 5 1/2 months. This project has been the biggest disaster Iv ever seen. Luckily we have documented throughout the whole process with photos, videos and all the complaint emails as we won’t be letting this go. We have lost complete confidence in Dunraven ability and will be getting another contractor in to rectify and finish.

I couldn’t recommend this company enough, from the moment Dewi Edwards sold me the job to the minute the builders left. Absolutely spotless all through out the project showing great workmanship and pride in what they do. The best window, door and conservatory installers across wales and south west England.

Dunraven fitted an orangery roof in October 2022. Since then, it had leaked every time it has rained. I have phoned them multiple times to request the roof to be fixed. 90% of the time I do not receive the promised return phone call. When someone eventually comes to the house they say they cannot find the leak and will need to come back - they never do. I am appalled that Dunraven can knowingly leave us with a leaking roof and do not care about resolving the issue. Numerous times we have spoken with the office who tells us someone will be in touch - and they aren't! This included one instance of telling us someone would come to the house on a specific date only for us to wait in until midday, call them, and find out they were closed that day. In their responses to poor reviews they say to email them, which we did a week ago, and not surprisingly, we have not had a response. It will soon be 5 months since the roof was incorrectly installed and we are no further to getting what we paid for. Since receiving our money, all customer care vanished. Dunraven has provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you should not use this company.

Last autumn, my old wooden conservatory needed changing/updating and after due consideration, my wife and I hired Dunraven to do the job. The work team were very efficient making all changes within the required contracted period. We ended up with a very good double glazed conservatory on the 'footprint' of the original. I have given 4 stars for the implementation as a window panel was initially damaged [but was of course replaced] and the exit door and one window needed some adjustments. Impressively though, a Director turned up -- handling the issues personally. Now down the line, I am very pleased with the total job and would re-hire Dunraven where needed in the future.

I had an extension (wet room) built by Dunraven and completed in first week of February 2021. As I had never received a copy of the building regulations for the job I contacted Dunraven in July 2022. Anyone who has ever had to deal with probate will appreciate the importance of having documentation such as this, in place! From the first contact with Dunraven at the beginning of July there followed many emails and phone calls but STILL I could not obtain a copy of the documentation. I even wrote to the managing Director and never received a response. In desperation I contacted the building inspector directly (Total Building Services). I was told that they were unable to print off a copy of the Building regulations since Dunraven had never submitted the required electrical certificate. The Building inspector tried to help by phoning Dunraven for me and asking for the electric certificate. They made several calls on my behalf. Eventually Dunraven sent electricians to my home to inspect the electrics and issue the electrical certificate. Seems I was using a wet room for over a year, without the electrical certificate ever having been provided!!!! Interesting that the electricians came on September 15th 2022 but the certificate was conveniently dated 14/01/2021. Once the electrical certificate was in place Total Building Services printed off the building regulations certificate for me. This letter was dated 5th October 2022. I had first asked Dunraven for this at the beginning of July 2022 so it had taken FOUR months from my request for them to provide the essential documentation. Documentation which should have been provided on completion of the job in February 2021. As for the wet room – the first time I used it the entire room flooded and I had to sweep the water away. Dunraven then lowered the floor right under the shower. I should NOT have accepted this compromise however I have a husband with dementia and he was VERY fed up of people being here every day. I should have insisted on having what I paid for but instead I now have a room with a shower NOT a wet room which is what I ordered. In this room there is a toilet and wash hand basin which is far too close together despite there being ample room and the door, which opens on to the garden actually opens OUTWARDS instead of inwards. An external door should open inwards but Dunraven do not appear to know about this security requirement of NOT having hinges showing outside on an external door. I am thoroughly disappointed with this shoddy job and VERY frustrated with the ordeal I was forced to tolerate firstly just to be able to use the room and secondly to get the building regulations. Would I use Dunraven again???? You MUST be kidding. They did not do a good job and I have been inconvenienced as well as disappointed

After Dunraven did a job for a neighbour we asked if they could they look at a door we had that leaked. They said they didn't do repairs but could quote for a new door. When called by their sales office, as per the complaint of 10th Feb, they wouldn't make an appointment without my wife present. I have read their explanation but it doesn't wash. Firstly, it IS discriminatory. Secondly, it smacks of the kinds of sales techniques used in the 70s. And thirdly, for a quote for a simple replacement of one door, identical to the current one, there are no design issues which might require a re-quote. To claim that their "free quotation service" depends upon this approach suggests they are doing us some kind of favour. I do not know of any company that charges for quotations, and if 65% require re-quotes then that is a cost of sales they should simply deal with. By all means say it is preferable that both parties are present, but to insist is wrong. If, for example, one partner has dementia or some other condition, it places the enquirer in the position of having to reveal personal information in order to get a quote. I think Dunraven should seriously review this approach.

Dunraven did a good job on front door replacement, everything is fine, thank you. The only problem is that after job done, Dunraven sales representative promised a bottle of wine if I leave Trustpilot review online, which I did. Eight months later, I am still waiting for my £6.99 bottle of wine 😳😂 I kept my promise, Dunraven did not. Leaves very bad taste, guys, be honourable and do it properly, or don't offer something you never intend to materialize. Changing my original review to reflect their behaviour.

Requested that they came to quote for a porch. Gentleman came, was very polite but turned up 20 minutes late with no phone call to explain he was late. I booked the afternoon off work and childcare for my children as they said they would be here for an hour and would quote us today. He looked at what we wanted and said they could do it. He then said he needed to look outside grabbed his bag and then said that he would get someone to come back as he was off on leave next week. I said that i was told i would get a quote today hence why i have booked time off work and childcare for my children but he said he hasn't got the time to do it today as it would take him an hour and he is off next week. Very frustrating. Felt like he couldn't be bothered due to it being 330 on a Friday afternoon and having a week off next week. Clearly wanted an early finish rather than the business.

I've given 1 star but really we would not give any if we could. Conservatory roof has dropped 2 inches. Supposed to be fixed today. This is the 3rd time they have arrived on the day and not completed the repairs. Even the receptionist knew nothing about this job when we rang Dunraven. This appointment was booked the first week of January by the surveyor. This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. Communication in this company is poor . We are still being fobbed off after after sending a letter to the company director complaining about the work that hasn't been completed correctly. Save your money and go to reputable company. Cos this one only wants your money and doesn't have a conscience. Reference Number 128326.
