Best customer service on the planet. Period. In this world filled with increasingly horrid business practices, chewy seems to be following a different path, and more businesses should follow their lead. Our dog passed away tragically around the same time an auto shipment arrived. Not only did they respond quickly about handling a return, they sent us a thoughtful message and gift with sympathy.
Never shipped my order, never emailed or called to say why, reached out to support who said they needed to confirm my identity. (I placed 2 orders the same day, one arrived one did not) I said my info was the exact same as the other order I had placed the same day and support refused to send my order or give me my money back. So now cats have no medicine and I have no money back from my purchase. Would never recommend using Chewy to any pet parent.
I placed an order and Fed Ex delivered it to the wrong house. I contacted Fed Ex and couldn't resolve the issue after 2 days, so I called CHEWY Friday evening. WOW!! Their customer service was exceptional, they looked up my order, replaced everything and I got it today, Sunday. I am a Chewy customer for life!
Finally a company with a customer support line that ANSWERS IMMEDIATELY and isn’t a robot!! So pleasant and professional and well articulated too, other companies need to take note of how Chewy runs its call centers because, as someone who worked at one, they are definitely top of the game.
I do not recommend it. I bought a product on the 16th and was waiting for the deadline that was on the website. Today I contacted them because it had not been sent. They asked me for several details. I provided them by email, and now they wanted to call me to confirm the account. A lot of bureaucracy just to buy a package of cat food and pate. I have already bought from PetSmart and PetCo, but Chewy is such a mess.
Such a GREAT company. If there is a problem they handle i. They even sympathize when you lose a beloved pet with a beautiful card. I LOVE CHEWY !
We got two boxes - 50 pounds each - from Chewy.com. We had not ordered the boxes, we dont have any pets. The boxes had our address. We phoned them to check who ordered (to know if someone is ordering in our name) and what to do with the boxes. They told us to give or throw the food away. We dont have a car which makes all of this difficult. They could also not say who ordered the goods and why it arrived to our home. They cant even tell if it is food for cats, dogs or other animals. How are we supposed to know where to bring this if want to give it away? We opened the bags and found mix of food for cats and egg laying hens. We live in in the centre of a city, what are we supposed to do with 100 pounds of food for hens? What a waste to throw it all away. This is not a serious company.
Called Chewy to cancel my dog's autoship order when he passed away. The customer service representative was incredibly kind and shared very comforting words. He also offered to refund the food order we currently had even though we had used over half of it. A week later we received a beautiful flower arrangement from Chewy.
Every experience I have had with Chewy has been superior. Customer service staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and seem to be genuinely concerned. My vet’s office is not very responsive and my dog desperately needs her prescription daily. The staff go right to work and reach out to the doctor and put a rush on her meds to ensure that she doesn’t miss. Thank you Chewy!
You call them and it just rings twice and then a real human in America answers. No bots ans other nonsense. I wish other companies did the same.
This company is incredible - they have 24/7 service chat with employees that GENUINLEY want to know about your pet. They have been so helpful as I learn waht my new puppy likes/needs. I am in for life with Chewy (over any other big brand like Amazon/Target/Walmart etc.) because of this level of service.

I love Chewy.com's Autoship feature. It is incredibly easy to use. I'm able to make changes to my order, deleting or adding items any time and choose the delivery date. I am always notified prior to shipping, so I know exactly when to receive my order.
I would like to say that chewy sent my family a dozen fresh roses due to the loss of our family dog jewels. This company is wonderful and they actually care about the people that buy the product. I just want to thank them for everything they have done. God bless 🙏
As a new pet pharmacy customer to Chewy, I've been quite impressed with their cusomer service, both in gettimg a real human being and in using their internal texting process. Unlike most web-based service, Chewy's customer serivce actually fix customer issues and seem to be empowered to make decisions. How awesomely refreshing!
I have ordered from chewy.com for years, toys , food and scripts. Whenever I have had to call them customer service is always very helpful and resolves my issue quickly. I normally get my order in 2 to 3 days delivered, which is much faster than having my vet snail mail it to me. The couple times it has been slow wasn't chewy's fault it was the delivery/truck service sitting on it. Thanks chewy🙂
Thieves and scammers.. Your price will change once you go to checkout after they bait and switch! The customer service is bad as well.
I actually work here and their a great company to work for. Paid snow days if the roads are to dangerous, paid holidays, pto, and extra unpaid time off. The benefits are great and i get 3 days off a week even with 40 hrs. Your also treated with respect and for that i give them 5 stars. Wonderful company to work for
For years I have contacted Chewy about their shipping department because I received goods that are damaged because of the way the shipping department packs them. If you have a big order it is packed in big box that is so heavy you cannot lift it, so you unpack it in front of your house. Today I received another order that product was damaged! I will no longer do business with Chewy. Gary E.
Our local store was out of our dog food. Took me 3mins from start to finish to order and we had it the next day !
