My cat passed & I call Chewy to get a refund on a large amount of prescription food I still had for her. Without any questions, they refunded me the amount & didn't even want the food back. Told me to donate it in my cat's name. As if this wasn't kind enough, the next day they sent me a floral arrangement with their condolences. Not only are they a great business but they care about their customers. For that reason, I am grateful & continue to give them my business.

Chewys has the most amazing customer service! I’ve never had a problem with my customer service, they’ve always been highly responsive, but most impressively is how kind and thoughtful they were when I called to adjust my order with my pet’s passing. They were incredibly understanding and left the nicest note the following day. I’ll forever be grateful and a forever customer!

This company has the best customer service I've ever received. First and foremost, they ANSWER THE PHONE LIVE! This is unheard of. The agents are always kind and friendly and resolve my problem with an order quickly. Even though they might be a little more expensive than other on line options, I will support them for their high quality service. THANK YOU

On November 29th we placed an order with Chewy for cat food using the promo code "Purina" for a $40 gift card when you order $100 worth of purina products. I qualified for the offer and my confirmation confirmed it. We received an email stating they couldn't ship the order because we used a promotion that we weren't qualified for. That was for an extra percentage off of the autoship. Now it had been quite a while since we ordered from anything from Chewy (over a year) so I don't recall if we ever did that promotion. But I quickly replied to the email and said that if we weren't qualified for it that was fine, and to take that discount off. But as long as the gift card of $40 still applied, then please ship the order. If not, then cancel it. I received another email to call them, which we did. We spoke to a young lady (Amanda?) who told us they just needed verification of our information, which we did, and the items were shipped. We received the items, but no gift card showed in our account. We called today and spoke with Natasha, who said we didn't qualify for the promotions, but they took $20 off. I said we were told we were receiving the $40 gift card and I was specific in saying that if we weren't getting that then to cancel the order. She wasn't very friendly or helpful so I asked for a supervisor. This supervisor said that there were multiple accounts associated with our address.. they didn't realize there was more than 1 appartment here, and there is only 1 account for our apartment., which she seemd to agree with. She also said that my wife also has an account. After some searching on our part we found my wife's account that had 1 order sent to our previous address in 2018. Now we are in our 70's and I guess that one order all those years ago must have slipped our minds...  Still, the promotion for $40 off of $100 was a black friday special for everyone, and had nothing to do with previous orders. If they were not honoring the gift card the order should have been cancelled as I requested. Not shipped and then charged to my card. I told her to just send a return label to let me return it, it's not worth the trouble. So that's what she did, also stating I will get my refund when they confirm the items in the return. I have videod repacking the items as I don't trust Chewy to truthfully refund me as promised. What kind of company is Chewy to give confirmation of an amount and gift card then not deliver as promised? In the end, a company needs to charge, and deliver, exactly what they state they will. They cannot change their minds and charge what they want. ESPECIALLY when it is specifically communicated to them to cancel the order if the cost and items will not be as stated. I am a 76 year old disabled vietnam vet on a very fixed income and don't like having surprise costs and not receive savings that were promised to me. This order was made specifically for the savings. Shame on you Chewy!

I really like chewy.com The people are nice to work with in their products they offer a lot and the delivery is good. My dog is on the special diet it gets pretty expensive today I ordered the liver treats which my vet recommended and they're great My dog loves The treats in their healthy they're the only ones you can have with his condition. Is it happy little beagle now and I love him so much and I thank chewy I've been ordering with them for a long time. As a service dog trainer the first one in the United States I would say I highly recommend chewy.

Some prices at chewy are quite competitive. The problem I have is being billed when an item isn't even in stock. It was never clear how long it would be until an item would be delivered. Sometimes it was very quick. Sometimes I would have no idea for quite a few days. For every order chewy immediately billed my account. In every case, every item was presented as if it was in stock and ready to ship out immediately. Chewy apparently sometimes takes more than 24 hours to even address an order. I won't be ordering from chewy again. I find them unethical.

Every time I order the wet canned dog food no matter what the brand is the cans come dented and some of them have popped open. Tried to do a refund and had no return calls

Placed an order on Black Friday for my dogs wet food while they were running a sale for 25% off wet food. While checking out I was also offered the auto ship discount. Almost a week later I’m wondering why my order didn’t ship and my dog ran out of wet food. So I contact customer service to ask about it because it said “preparing for shipment” for days. They tell me that they can’t honor the auto ship discount because apparently at some point in time I had another account using the same address and it’s one discount per household, which I don’t even remember, maybe it was someone who lived here before me. They tell me they can cancel my order or charge me the full amount without the discount so obviously I cancelled it and I’m never using Chewy again. If their system is telling them I had another account and I’m not eligible for a discount then why would they even allow the order to go through? It should have denied me from the beginning. After the order is already placed you don’t do stuff like that. They didn’t even send an email or reach out, they were just leaving my order like it was stuck preparing for shipment. What reputable company does this? Now I lost the 25% off wet food deal too. They offered nothing for the inconvenience. I will avoid shopping with Chewy at all costs in the future. I don’t want to do business with a company that treats its customers like crap.

Every single time I place a large order for my rescue cats, I get a bounce back email that makes me call into customer service. They are always just confirming my order details, but it's so annoying to have this happen over and over.

I order from Chewy ALL THE TIME. My buddy, PeachTree (cockatiel) gets all his food from here. I mean I’m the one who orders it but he makes all the decisions around here. Customer for life.

I have used chewy for over 10 years. They are the BEST. My dog had so many allergies and I tried so many different kinds of food and chewy was wonderful through that process. They understood how frustrated I was, trying to take the best care of my dog, and helped me get to the food I needed. My dog just passed after 15 years and they refunded my last order that I had just got. This is truly the best online company I have dealt with. They are always there to answer your calls, chats and are so very friendly. USE CHEWY!!!!!!THEY ARE THE BEST

Our cat passed away last week and to our amazement we received a package from Chewy which contained a sweet personalized sympathy card and a precious stone with her name on it. It was such a touching, thoughtful gesture, especially from such a large corporate company! It is so rare to experience this level of customer service!

Good Service. Fast shipping, great selection, good price, always happy with my purchase! Customer support looked out for my account and automatically signed me up for a loyalty card with the brand I always buy from, which includes online purchases. I would have missed out on this offer completely otherwise!

I'm a longtime Chewy customer and they're the best! The selection of pet products is incredible, and my orders are always fulfilled super fast. On the very rare occasions I've had a complaint or question over the years, Customer Service has responded immediately, with exceptional kindness and generosity!

My mind is bogged down by the fact that Chewy gives absolutely NO incentive to purchase from them over every.single.other.pet.store.in.the.entire.realm.of.pet.supplies. Auto ship even offers the same discount so why should I shop Chewy and not Petco, or Petsmart or Pet Supermarket or any of the other pet stores?????

We had to put our beloved dog to rest unexpectedly and had unfortunately just received two auto ship orders for prescription kibble and Interceptor Plus. I normally wouldn’t have bothered to try and return given the circumstances but the items were pretty pricey and were unopened. The customer service was amazing and they were so compassionate to hear of my loss. They offered to refund me the cost of the items and said I could just donate them in my girls name if I liked. This is unheard of and I am so appreciative!

When my beloved golden passed away I emailed Chewy to return an unopened bag of Dasuquin, and they immediately refunded my credit card & told me to donate the product to an animal rescue group - they even sent the tax deduction form to bring to the rescue. Their customer service rep Danielle L. wrote such a lovely condolence message, and included a link for pet loss/grieving support. And then today a beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived, with a message of sympathy from Danielle & the Chewy Family. All I can say is Wow, thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. Chewy is a class act.

Our doggy died. We called to cancel his subscription and return some food, and not only were they very cool about that but then we got a bouquet and card delivered to honor our late fur baby. This was just beyond expectation and we wanted to come here and pay recognition.
