Chewy.com delivers pet happiness by conveniently shipping 400+ brands of pet food and stuff (for FREE!) while celebrating and honoring the bond, love and connection we share with pets.
They had the least expensive price on the product I was looking for. I ordered it and it shipped here within 3 days. What more can I ask for?
Chewy itself is fantastic, good deals, there are often coupon codes, and their customer service is genuinely incredible. The reason for only three stars is because of their shipping. They use fedex, who has suddenly decided they have issues with delivering to apartment buildings. In the past this was not an issue, but now they have started holding packages hostage for days on end, claiming my address is wrong (it isn't), saying I need to be home to accept the package- despite me... being home to accept the package, and despite me providing clear directions multiple times along with contact info for any issues. For what it's worth, Chewy has provided a partial refund so I can go buy a small bag of dog food so my dog does not starve while Fedex tries their best to avoid delivering my parcel. I sincerely wish I could continue to use Chewy- I think it is fantastic- but Fedex makes it impossible. It's such a shame.
Chewy is fab and their customer service is great. They have a good selection of products too. :)
SHARON. Omg. This is about her but a I’m including a quick overview of my experience w chewy overall. I can’t even fathom how anyone has had a bad experience with chewy. Yes I’ve had some inconsistent foods, but that’s the manufacturer. And I’ve received treats opened and at the bottom of box, but I call and chewy replaces them every time even though it seems that this is the carriers mistake. I want to now talk about why I was compelled to leave this review when I am drowning in so many things. My husband called me and told me chewy hit one of our cards and it ate up what we had on that card. I have autoship but… I have paid zero attention to it for a few months now. My biological father passed away on Thanksgiving. Which was also my birthday. I still haven’t mourned his death bc I have 2 young children ages 2 & 5, and I needed to get through the holidays and give my girls a beautiful Christmas. On top of that, my daughter’s bday is New Year’s Eve, and my youngest daughter’s bday is Jan 27. I digress, So I needed to focus on Christmas first. Got through that. My husband and girls did a quick trip to see a fam member, they came back w the flu. I took care of them, rescheduled my daughter’s party, and then of course, I got it. Cancel her party and had to reschedule it again. Then it was my step dad’s birthday on Jan 11… on Jan 13 my mother called who picks my kids up from school & has them until about 6pm, and she said we had to get there now bc my stepdad collapsed. TODAY, my stepdad was finally taken off life support, but is still in the icu. No one needs to know all these details but, I’m making the point that I literally have not been able to have a normal thought in months. So when my husband told me about chewy, I immediately called and Sharon answered. I explained to her that I’ve been in and out of the hospital for my step dad, and this is right after my dads death, and I feel horrible but is there anyway to cancel the order and refund it so that I wouldn’t have to worry about the card that was wiped from it. She was incredibly compassionate and kind. I’m sure I rambled on just like this review but, I’m not myself right now. She was so patient. I thanked her so much and expressed my love for this company bc of people like her. Never ever have I encountered a rude representative. Ever. And I have 2 spoiled indoor cats, and also care for 3 semi feral (community) cats. They’re basically my outdoor babies. Anyway… I’ve had to call many times for little things as I mentioned above. And EVERYTIME someone answers that line, there is someone on the other end who is just amazing and they all def aim to have happy customers. Today, I was cleaning my patio to get my outdoor cats food ready for dinner and I walked in for a minute and saw flowers, I was so confused. My husband and sister in law who was here, said that it was from chewy. My sis in law read the card to me and said “from Sharon”… Sharon… thank you for taking that extra step to send these to me. I was so surprised. I know chewy will send flowers when a pet passes, but… this totally caught me off guard. I am so thankful for her. It’s the little things in life. And I know God is so very proud of her for doing as he says “love thy neighbor”… Thank you so much Sharon. I pray that someone high up in the chain will see this and reward you for this. With everything going on, so much heartbreak and worry and stress and I’m basically on auto pilot.. & I’m getting used to getting some type of bad news… this was a pleasant surprise and made my day. My sis in law saw this as well and she was gushing over how kind this gesture was. You guys are great. Sharon… God bless you.
I unfortunately have to leave only a 2 star review. Only reason it's not a 1 star is because they have excellent customer service. They use FedEx as a courier service, and FedEx does not deliver to apartment buildings. They outright refuse and will hold your parcels hostage for days, and lie and state "we attempted to deliver", but they never did. You can provide a buzz code all you want, but, they refuse to even try. Ordering from Chewy was supposed to be convenient but, so far, because of FedEx, has been an awful experience.
Our beloved 17 year old cat passed on Thursday. My husband contacted Chewy to ask if they could send us a return label because we had just bought a large bag of dry and wet food. They told him how sorry they were and sent him a refund and told us to keep it or donate it. This morning we received flowers expressing their condolences. They are gorgeous! My husband and I are so touched. Kindness and compassion sure helps with the grief. Thank you so much.
They are such an amazing company, our dog isn't doing well and we just bought food that she won't eat. With a sypathetic sweet email I was told to donate the food and they lovingly said if they could help with anything to let them know. I don't know if we will get another furry friend, but Chewy will always be my go to if we do! Love and trust them!!!!!!
I remember when you could visit Chewy and buy what you needed without CONSTANTLY being pushed over and over to sign up for auto ship. Every other click pushed me to use something I don’t need.
I always said Chewy gives the greatest customer service and they do most of the time. I had been a very loyal and dependable customer for 7 years. It really saddened me when I had to stop my orders with them. This is ALL because FED EX quit delivering packages to my front door after 5 years.Excuses being so lame it was comical. Just excuses to be lazy! But the real thing that hurt the most was Chewy threw me away and kept FEDEX. Guess we didnt mean as much to them as I thought.
i recently ordered my dog's food and it was delivered the day he died very suddenly and unexpectedly. I called to ask about returning the products for a refund and not only did the customer service person refund my money buy told Me to donate the items. The next day they sent a bouquet of flowers with a very touching card. This was way beyond expectations. I had been a chewy customer for many many years and if i decide to get another dog I will be a faithful customer again. My sincere thanks.
I've been ordering from Chewy.com for years: unbeatable customer service -- caring, knowledgeable customer service, fast shipping, good prices. Truly a wonderful shopping experience.
Liked Chewy after my first order, but not after my second order. The bones I got all seemed very old and the marrow just crumbled out. The sale I purchased my items through said everything was buy one get one free and I confirmed this with one of their agents through a live chat yet when I received my order there was only 1 of every item and they credited my account a few dollars just for half the price of the cheapest item. I purchased over $120 worth of items with each one listed as buy one get one free and I was told by Chewy.com staff that I would receive 2 of each item, instead I get a $6 credit and old treats that my pets do not like. I will not trust or support CHEWY.com again.
They charged me 194 dollars for a pack of 12 batteries. Claim they have refunded me however the Bank doesn't see it that way. I canceled my auto ship. I have called 4 time this week and have gotten a different story every time. I hope 194 dollars was worth to you chewy.
Between "FedUp" delivery (I had to pick up at Hub finally) and Chewy's various Customer Service conflicting explanations, not a good experience with this $500.00 purchase.
Do not believe the 1-3 day shipping. While delays can happen, if it going to be longer you should send an email before just shipping it. My dogs can’t wait 8 days for their food and I’m on a budget. Now I will have to shop at the store anyways and another 60 I wasn’t planning on.
Chewy keeps sending me coupons in the mail or via email, they NEVER state that there is any limitations or that whatever I am buying is not valid. We read all coupons carefully making sure what we have in the cart is covered, but...NO it's not covered ever. It seems their coupons only reward New customers and do not support their current customers. We contacted chewy live chat about this after receiving 4 coupons in the mail, and none where valid, well Chewy chat just hung up on us....
Ordered and they promised medication would be here on the 15th. Not here. No response from customer service. Second time it’s happened. No help and they don’t care, give coupons, or refunds.
I order with a few companies and ONLY CHEWY is reliable. The customer services go above and beyond and truly do care about their company and customers. I have done business with them for a few years and can say this about them. I'm leaving a review now just because during these LA wildfires Chewy is the ONLY company that has been genuinely humane and caring. They are really good people. Even if there is a problem with an order or delivery, they take responsibility and step up.
I was able to keep my furry baby alive for a year. I couldn’t afford to take him to the vet that often. When he passed you were very nice and sympathetic. He had been my only companion for 8 plus years. He was just shy of 15 years when he passed from kidney disease. They sent me a Beautiful floral bouquet with a very sweet card from Clarissa and the Chewy family.
Sent me a card for my dogs birthday. Offered 20% off all items as a reward. Then rejected my items. Claimed it was only a birthday selection ( not stated in card). Greedy and dishonest people. Asked via chat and they hung up on me when I sent them a photo of the card. Really crappy company.
