Customer service always go out of their way to help me resolve any issues. Recently though, my cat passed away and I had to cancel all my subscriptions. My request was handled quickly and sensitively, which I was grateful for. A week later, I received a beautiful bouquet of mixed white flowers with white roses and a beautiful card acknowledging my baby's death. I cannot express what that meant to me. Especially because it was unexpected. Thank you Chewy so much. You will always have my business when I need it again. Thank you.
Quick customer service and resolution. A bag of dry cat food had broken open from hitting against a wrapped pack of canned food during shipping. A quick email and photo prompted another quick response from Chewy and an immediate replacement shipped to me. More than pleased.
I think people should be warned about their pharmacy service. I'm a long time customer of Chewy.com and never had a single problem. And then I tried to order the prescription kidney disease cat food my vet prescribed. I should note that it can't be purchased locally. To speed things up (this was pretty close to being an emergency) I called the order in. The representative I spoke to apparently made some sort of "profile" on my cat. I have no idea what that is. Never heard of it before in all these years of being a customer. He didn't tell me he was doing this. Nor did he ask me any questions except what her name was. For some weird reason he mistakenly typed in that she was a dog. So that screwed up the process beyond belief. I called them multiple times. My vet called twice that I know of--and even talked at length with a "supervisor". Each and every time we were assured that the problem was fixed and that the order would be sent out immediately. It's now been two weeks. With a cat getting progressively sicker. Then, to top it all off, I got an email this morning telling me they were cancelling my order. They said they'd never heard back from either me or my vet. This is absolutely a bald-faced lie. And this morning when I called to raise hell about this whole fiasco they STILL had her listed in their records as a dog.
Horrible customer service. Literally cannot get them on the phone. The phone hangs up after 6 minutes of being on hold. Their chat never answers either. 24/7 customer service is an absolute joke.

I received my order from Chewy today and this has happened for the second times that some of my small boxes of my dogs special treat inside the big box, the lid was open and both times I contracted Chewy customer service and both time they were so understanding and very helpful to me. Im very impressed. I want to say thank you so much Chewy. I have been their customer for many years and will always be because Chewy is a wonderful company with great products and delivering always very fast like a lot of time I get it in the next day which is fantastic. What a wonderful company. I really recommend to all pets lovers. Sorry English is my second language.
I order my cat supplies from Chewy. Their own cat food brand, Tiny Tiger, is grain & soy- free and has no harmful chemicals added. I had sent in a picture of my kitty as part of my pet profile when I rescued him 2 years ago. A couple of days ago, they sent me a small portrait of him; I hadn't ordered anything at the time. It's really well done; I'm an artist, so I know. It really was very touching! If my cats don't like something, they give me credit for it and ask me to donate it to a shelter. They really seem to care about their customers.
I'm glad all the 5 star reviews people are happy but they lied to me. I'll think think twice before ordering from them again. They're horrible. Customer service deliberately lie. They tell you one thing and do another. I was told once I shipped my return I would get my refund of junk they sent me but that is a lie. It's 2 weeks and still waiting for my refund and my loved pets suffer. My money isn't returned to me once I've done the return. It's better to do business with Amazon or Walmart. 12 more days later and still no refund. On a charge machine it takes just seconds to cancel an order payment and issue a refund but for chewy it takes forever....a good example of how they care. I work with charges on machine and this is ridiculous. Chewy is a bad experience.
Chewy continues to cheap-out on delivery by using Fedex. I gave them another chance after past years of terrible deliveries but that was a mistake. They just don't care. There are so many other options for pet products and I will be utilizing others instead of constant bad service.
I received a Chewy gift card when I first got Maebelle as a puppy, used it, and I have had nothing but positive experiences since. I order regularly, have certain items on autoship, and everything has been well packaged, delivered quickly and with zero issues. I have left reviews with pictures for products with a simple warning to pawrents that the product may not be for dogs that are heavy chewers. I have never had any expectation or desire for replacement and yet Chewy customer support continues to exceed any expectation I never had in the first place. I trust this company implicitly and will ALWAYS refer others.
This company's website is full of false advertizing. I placed an order for dog treat which listed the price at $12.99 if you autoship once the order was placed I was charged $19.99/bag with a $20 discount whick doesn't add up. I caslled customer service and was told that the price list is only good up to a $20 discount, but does not say that on their webpage. These people are a bunch of crooks and I have to wait 3-5 business days to get my refund for cancelling the order

I love this company. I just got a REAL person on chat at 9pm at night without having to go through some stupid automated AI chat that NEVER has the answer to your question. They are reliable, handle all my vet prescriptions, and all my dog's food is on autoship. Everything gets here on time. SO refreshing to have a large company that offers a personal touch. Great company. Great job.
Love this company. What company sends a sympathy note and a dozen roses after our 18 1/2 year puppy died? They did. I know it’s marketing but I love the sensivity and the business model
I have been dealing with this vendor for many years now and never had any issues. Products arrived quickly with no problems. I could always count on Chewy to deliver for my 5 dogs and one cat
I hesitated for a long time to try this company, due to a request. Boy, am I glad I did. Every time, and I mean, every single time, I have gotten excellent customer service whenever I needed it. The prices are very reasonable, the delivery is superb, and if you needed to switch your order to a different date, it was very easy to do. Due to the loss of my pet, I no longer use them. But in the future, I will definitely start back up with them. Very class act company. Thank you very much for the great service.
Placed an Rx order for our cat on Chewy.com. They have no way to receive Rx electronically (in 21st century) So, they wait for it to be mailed. Then their data entry team takes 10 day just to get order on their system. Do not order Rx's here----they will take 3 weeks to arrive! I am still waiting on a Jan 12 order.....
I’ve been a loyal customer of chewy for over 10 years. I’ve praised their customer service and loved the convenience of their autoship. Unfortunately, they will only ship with fedex. This wasn’t a problem until recently when fedex decided to leave my packages by the curb instead of my front door (the curb is down the hill from our house and we have a large circular driveway. No other carrier has ever left packages at the curb). I contacted chewy and they initially filed a complaint on my behalf with FedEx. When the same thing happened again (this time FedEx dumped a heavy package on top of my flowering plants by the curb) they just essentially told me there was nothing they could do about it. I cancelled my four autoships and will limit myself to companies that do not use FedEx. I hate to part ways with chewy, but it’s just not worth the hassle.
I have used Chewy auto-ship for many years to deliver my dogs' specialty food and prescriptions. Very few issues and on the rare occasion I had an issue, customer service was quick to resolve the problem. I had to have my 15 year old hound euthanized last week and when I canceled my auto-ship orders, the folks at Chewy sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sweet card in addition to doing some other amazing things for me. I am so impressed with Chewy and their customer service team. They have a life long customer in me. Thank you for everything Chewy.
I absolutely LOVE Chewy! I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever, Sully, who I've had since he was a puppy. Every single time we've needed something, we've gotten it from Chewy. In the very small times there has been an issue with the order - the customer service is outstanding. Literally, coworkers of mine and I will talk about this time where my mom was sick but had to call Chewy about an issue with the order. Not only did the order get fixed but they also sent my mom a CARE PACKAGE with teas and things for her to feel better. Top tier and out of this world.
