Though I have loved them in the past, the wait time to get prescriptions has tripled. It is so long that a pet will need to return to the vet before getting the prescription. They send reminders to mail your rx in every few days, but if you call (Because you have waited weeks for the rx you already sent), you can't get anyone to help unless you have waited "21" days. After that, you will have another wait for the medication. So, the total time is possibly 35 of more days.

I receive an auto-ship each month and I especially like that I receive reminders each month so if needed, I can change the delivery date for the shipment. In addition, recently I did not receive my auto-ship and sent Chewy an email to see if anything could be done. Much to my surprise, Chewy responded extremely quickly and provided a new shipment, free of charge. Now that is wonderful customer service!

Recently, we had to put our dog Sugar to sleep. We had an auto ship of Entyce that we had that was unopened which we wanted to return for a refund. The people at Chewy were very understanding and accommodating in getting this refund processed. No hassles at a time we were both grieving over Sugar’s passing. The people at Chewy were outstanding! Their compassion exemplify what it means to have genuine values and the meanings of what our pets bring to our lives.

I received Heartguard medication for my dog. The medication box was open, but the foil seals looked intact. However, three of the chewables looked crumbled through the clear plastic. I called, but was presented with too many hurdles to make a proper return and replacement. I cancelled my autoship; and found the medication elsewhere at substantial savings.

I purchased pet food through Chewy, but they repeatedly informed me that my order was delayed due to weather, even though it hadn't shipped yet. Every time I called for assistance, I was given the runaround, including an encounter with an agent who was extremely rude and dismissive. I was assured that I could order food locally and that I would receive a refund, but the refund was never processed. I specifically asked one agent if my request would be declined, and she told me not to worry. When I called back to inquire about the situation, a different agent mockingly repeated my words and informed me that my request had been declined, but he would refresh his page to ensure it went through. After numerous calls and online chats, I finally received the refund in three separate adjustments. Following that, I placed another order using a $20 credit I had earned. However, Chewy blocked my order and instructed me to call in. After answering numerous questions about my account, I was told they didn't know what the issue was or how to resolve it. I ended up canceling my order and forfeiting my credit. Additionally, I still had an auto-ship scheduled for six months out, which was also blocked. I called again for clarification, only to be told they had no idea what was wrong. Frustrated, I deleted my account. The entire experience felt like they were intentionally making it difficult for me. This company shows a complete lack of regard for their customers and their pets' well-being.

I have been a Chewy customer for awhile as my cats preferred wet food is hard to find on the shelves. Normally, my order comes right to my door despite living in an apartment complex. I was supposed to get an order at the end of December, but it had not shown up. I gave it a few extra days due to the holidays and weather thinking it would turn up, however, it did not. I called the number and was able to speak with a live representative. I explained the situation and she was able to tell me where my order was left. I was at work at this time, but stated I would go look for my order where she described it was. She said she did not want me running around crazy looking for my order and sent me another package free of charge which came within about 2 days (good thing, because my order was also not where she described- I checked out of curiosity). I am so thankful for Chewy and would recommend this company to anyone with pets!! Thank you Chewy and your employees for your awesome customer service.

We have been ordering from chewy for years. They have always been a great company to purchase from, fast shipping, orders are always correct and packed well. We just wanted to take the time to talk about another experience we just had with Chewy. Our sweet boy Leo passed away last month. I had to let them know that we were canceling all of his prescription meds and had a couple questions for them about one of his orders. In the mail yesterday we received the sweetest gesture from Chewy over the loss of our Leo. it was such a kind thing to do from a big company like Chewy. So very thoughtful. Also the email that we had gotten back about him passing was extremely kind and thoughtful too. Such an amazing company and we will always continue to support Chewy. They do so much for the community. Thanks Chewy

I came to visit my parents in LA. I brought a couple days food with me thinking I can buy the same food in Los Angeles. I found the food on chewy and they required a vet note to buy hypoallergenic (hydrolyzed) dog food. Can you believe this? So I called my vet in France(who is American by the way) and she also wrote the prescription in English. They still denied me dog food for my very hypoallergenic dog. My dog has acid reflux he's been sick most of this trip. My vet in thinks they're running a racket to get seen by a vet in their Network in order to get a prescription for dog food??? If they sell the dog food sell the dog food don't keep it hostage when you offer it online and you offer it. This is awful and now I'm dealing with a dog that has severe acid reflux on vacation visiting my family in Los Angeles. WE HAVE A PRESCRIPTION that I had provided and was denied dog food. These people should be out of business. By the way my parents bought a lot of PRODUCT from them and they are done. Again I have a prescription in English from my vet and they refused it because they want to make more money off of us instead of just selling us dog food for my pet and minding their business. I'm so bummed out. What a complete disappointment.😒

I have no words to describe how wonderful the Chewy company is. I had an autoship for medicine for my 10 year old husky. I received a new order last week but unfortunately he passed away before I opened the box. I went online to return the medicine and a wonderful customer service rep immediately refunded my $80 and told me to keep them and donate to the local animal shelter. I thought that was incredibly generous and kind. She expressed her condolences to me and I hung up. Tonight a flower arrangement arrived with a beautiful card expressing more condolences on the loss of my beloved pet( and addressed him by name) - an arrangement that must of cost them at least $50. I am speechless at the compassion and generosity this company has shown during a time where our hearts are broken. Thank you to my Chewy family for all you do and did for us.

We used the pharmacy for 2+yrs. The support w/changes, etc was always excellent. The people were always so kind and helpful. I have always recommended them to others. But, wow, if they didnt go above & beyond recentlly! When our baby passed the same day her meds arrived, I called not expecting that they could or would do anything, but asked that if I returned the unopened box, if by chance I could get even a partial refund (the order was for over $100 for multiple heart meds). Not only did they of course give condolences, they issued a full refund & told me not to worry about sending back the medication. We live 2 properties down from a dog resuce, so I will be donating the medications to them. To my very unexpected surprise, the next day, we received flowers from them. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Talked with Dakota, was the top star of the day!! Got all my dog food and prescriptions, that are auto-shipped, all squared away. Talked with her about dog treats, which I had never thought about ordering. She set me up with my Hazels favorite treat, for nearly $2.00 a box cheaper, than what I was getting at the store. I’m shocked that chewy has doesn’t have five stars. This is a great company with great prices. They ship quickly and most of the time the shipping is free and they have some of the best prices around. Chewy is great. Large selection for all animals as well.

Chewy's customer service is outstanding! A lot of companies should follow what Chewy does..You don't have automated options, get a live person who is always nice and always helpful..I've been buying from them for about 11 years with my 2 boys..Sadly, we had to put our beagle down last Friday and today they sent me a beautiful flower arrangement with a beautiful card..I had no issues cancelling my autoship and also was provided credit as I had just recently purchased my 6 month supply of heartworm meds, which came in just a day before losing him..I would give 100 stars if I could!!! I would recommend anyone with furbabies to shop with Chewy..

I have been using Chewy since they first started. CS is okay but the delivery has gone down hill and bad. I am on an auto ship for my dogs food. I rec. and email letting me know my case of food was shipped. Two days later, no update.Chatted with a CS person, they said that there"was a glitch in the system" and that "they would refund me and reorder". Well, I got no refund and the order I recieved a few days later was the WRONG FOOD. Called back (now not having any more food for my dog) and CS said they would refund my whole amount ($55) and investigate and make sure it does not happen when the new order is put through. (a saw no new order pending in my account after the phone call) I ordered three boxes of the food from Amazon and its coming tomorrow (at $8 a box).... in hopes that Chewy gets their act together. Horrible... CS is very nice... but the warehouse is not too bright. UPDATE: I called them later that night and spoke to a nice young lady. She saw NO notes from the previous call, placed my order, free of charge and actually reached out to the warehouse manager to make sure that he checks the order before it goes out to make sure it was correct.

Chewy kept sending me these coupons so I decided to check out their website. Holy crap! The prices are unbelievably high, I can't imagine why so many people use chewy. I guess some people can afford to pay all that extra money for the convenience of having it delivered to your door but not me, I'm on a budget so I will stick with Walmart's prices plus I can have Walmart deliver it to my door as well. Even after paying the Walmart Plus membership I still don't spend as much as I would if I went to chewy.

disappointed with the order, buyer deception. We ordered dog food, the order was paid for and there is no delivery. The support service explains that the delivery date on the website is not true, we need to wait another three days. The delivery day is Monday, but in reality it will not be earlier than Thursday or Friday. Buyer deception
