I buy Dr Esley cat litter which contains a dollar coupon in each bag. I sent the coupons back to chewy and they refuse to honor them.
Chewy will not rectify error, I am supposed to get 2 free treats for my cat for buying an item that is buy one, get one free.
Just cancelled all my autoship for Hills RX dog food. Why. Went to move a date up and prompted need to contact your Vet. They already have the prescription for the food. Called customer service and advised my Vet needs to be contacted each time. Why would I subject my Vet to this annoyance. I can go to the store and purchase it for one year based on the prescription. Just ridiculous. Lost my business. A regular customer with expensive recurring purchase of prescription dog food.
This is an amazing company for honesty and customer service. Chewy apparently shipped an order I did not place (autoship) and before I even noticed it, they had credited my account and sent an email apologizing for the error and advising I could keep any merchandise not requested. This is practically unheard of in terms of many companies who, once they have your money, go to great lengths to keep it. I am VERY impressed with their customer service as this is not the first time they have "over-delivered" on my expectations.
We've been using Chewy for years. They have a great selection of items for reasonable prices (much better than brick and mortar stores) and their customer service is one of the best out there.
I’ve been a loyal Chewy customer with authorship for years. Customer service has been exceptional the few times I’ve needed to contact them.
Chewy has reasonable prices and quick shipping via FedEx. I just wish that they offered the 18 lb bag of Dr. Elsey's Premium Clumping Cat Litter instead of only the 40 lb bag. This 60-year-old cat lady simply cannot safely handle the heavier bag.
Chewy customer service has been great. When I received some of our regular treats on autoship that had questionable quality issues (they smelled odd and none of the horses would eat them), they immediately sent a replacement with apologies to my pony (which was very sweet) without question and without asking for the item back. It was completely hassle free and drama free which I greatly appreciated! I've used Chewy for years and never had a negative experience with them. Prices are reasonable, they carry a large selection for all species, and the website and autoship subscription service are easy to navigate.
our precious 13-year-old bulldog, Trixie, passed away very recently. We had just placed a very large order with chewy and called to see if they would take the items back. They said donate them to a local animal shelter and a few days after that we received a sweet flower vase with a message of sympathy. This is customer service at its finest. I will be forever loyal to them and their empathy for their customers.
If I could give a zero I would!! Terrible service Order steps for our dog and there was an issue with a coupon , instead of just canceling order they took money out of account and said it had to be reviewed.. if there was an issue why take the money out first just cancel order.. now I have to wait 24-48 hours for my money to be put back in!! Thankfully that is not an issue of not having money in account. Feel bad for ppl that CANT wait on their money being put back.. I will for sure let my entire family know NEVER to order from these guys..
Chewy customer service is outstanding. The compassion and warmth that was extended to me when I informed them that my little girl sunshine had passed away was above and beyond. They also sent me flowers! It made me realize there really are good people and companies still here for us
I am a small business owner and I'm a big believer in shopping small and local. With that said, I have only ordered from chewy.com a couple of times, but I have experienced the Best customer service each time. I had recently made a recurring precription purchase for my beloved dog Coco with chewy.com , but she passed away shortly after. I emailed the company to cancel the order and they refunded my order with no issues. It's what occured next though, that really impressed me. The email response from Mary (the pharmacist, I believe) at chewy.com expressed condolences for Coco"s passing and also offered resources for dealing with the loss of her. I was so impressed. Today, almost a month after my cancelation, I received a painted rock with flowers and Coco's name on it along with a touching card from the Chewy family. It was unexpected and brought a smile to my face. I miss my Coco so much and I really cannot express enough how impressed I am with Chewy as a company. Chewy is and will remain my first choice for my pets needs. ♥️🐶🐾 I wish all businesses would operate with such awesome value!s
I have been a Chewy customer for many years and have always had a great experience with them!!! Recently, my 18-year-old baby (doggie-Rusty) passed away. I called Chewy to see if I could return multiple items I had bought right before Rusty passed away and they refunded my money and had me turn the items over to a shelter. Not only did they do this, but they also sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. This is amazing considering they are a big company and really took the time to brighten my day! I highly recommend Chewy! I have 3 cats, plus a rotating cast of foster dogs and I use Chewy for all of them. There prices are great and the customer service is the best of any company I've ever dealt with. They truly go above and beyond for their customers!
I can not praise Chewy enough!!! I ordered some kidney diet food for my dog when she was diagnosed with kidney failure. I was not able to give it to her as she passed. I contacted Chewy and not only did they refund my money but did not ask to return the food they asked me to donate it to an animal shelter and consoled me for the loss of my pet. I am definitely ordering for them again!!!
I have been using Chewy for over 5 years for my dog. Recently, our furry baby passed away, which, of course, has crushed us. It has been a difficult time, especially during the holidays, and we are dealing with her absence everyday. Just before she passed, we had been working with her vet and had ordered antibiotics and other medication from Chewy pharmacy to treat her. But she passed before we could even administer some of these. Now the policy with Chewy is that we cannot return pharmacy items. But I reached out to Chewy to confirm as we had not even opened the shipments. Chewy asked me to reason for wanting to return the shipments. When I explained, they were so kind and understanding and allowed me to receive a refund and encouraged me to donate the medicines to a local shelter rather than returning. Their generosity just blew me away. It was such a warm gesture during such a difficult time. They cared to ask why rather than just reiterating the policy and allowed me to receive a refund considering the situation. I am so thankful to Chewy for taking my situation into account. They have provided me with better customer service than I’m sure I have gotten anywhere else. Absolutely wonderful customer care. Thank you, Chewy. And thank you for helping us to care for our dog in the best way over the years while she was with us.

I am blown away by the customer service this company offers. I simply wrote a review on a product I had purchased from them. My dog just did not like the food I bought. So, my review simple said, my dog does not like this food at all, that was it. I got an email from Chewy that said they are sorry my dog did not like and they would be crediting my account for the purchase price. WHAT? I never asked for a refund or anything and yet, within 3 days of that email my account was credited for the food my dog did not like. What company does that? None that I know of, except for Chewy! That right there, that they actually stand behind their 100% satisfaction guarantee, that I did not even know about or even think that they would back something just because my dog didn't like it, blows my mind. New customer for life!
My kitten had a small abraision on his lip, and I wasn't sure if he needed to be taken to a vet or not (and as a broke college student, avoiding expensive vet trips for no reason is a priority). I searched online for free vet advice and everywhere I looked wasn't actually free. Chewy has an ask a vet chat where they can offer you advice (not a diagnosis). They responded immediately, offered good advice, and helped me help my kitten. Highly recommend their services!
I recently opened an account with Chewy Canada to purchase food for my cat, drawn in by their unbeatable prices, amazing deals, and generous loyalty program. What I didn’t expect was the level of customer service that would leave me utterly amazed and profoundly grateful. When my order (for authenticity verification purposes, placed on Dec 8, 24- Order #1800273544) which was supposed to arrive by December 9th, was delayed, I reached out to Chewy’s customer service team simply for an update and reassurance that everything was on track. To my complete shock and absolute awe, they not only provided the information I needed but also refunded 90% of my order – without me asking for anything beyond a status update!!! 😱 😍 This unexpected gesture has left me speechless!!! I’ve honestly and genuinely have never been so pleasantly surprised by a company’s willingness to go above and beyond for their customers!!! Obviously - cannot recommend them enough!!! 😍 Their customer service has completely won me over, and I will be a loyal customer for life. This experience has truly been one of the most positive shocks I’ve ever had in my dealings with any company, in Canada or anywhere in the world! 11/10
