I was a client of Chewy.com for 10 years. Chewy helped me raise 3 cats and I’m eternally grateful. My last cat died this week, which created an absent in my life and I hope the sadness will eventually diminish. To my great support, chewy.com brought me solace and understanding. There not gave me credit on one of the cases, which I donated to the local shelter, today I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with thoughtful message. Words cannot describe their significance gift today. Thank you for not only feeding my beloved family but for understanding my heart.

I have been a customer of Chewy for several years, getting my cat litter from them instead of trying to haul those heavy boxes through the grocery store and into the house. Over this time, their service has really improved. Shipments only take a day or two, and the autoship process is very smooth, allowing one-time changes with little effort. Recently, I lost my last cat, so called Chewy to cancel my autoship. The customer rep was very sweet and helped me quickly. Then a few days later, to my surprise, Chewy sent a lovely bouquet of live roses as a condolence gift. How kind!!! Thank you Chewy.

I have always received excellent customer service from Chewy in the rare few times I've had to call over the last ten-plus years. I tragically lost most all of my cats in our house fire this year and I thought I'd cancelled all my autoships last year but I had apparently forgotten some. I can no longer access my email addresses due to most of my tech and my password hard copies burning in the fire so I was dreading calling for help but the wonderful lady I spoke with was so kind and helpful. It's been an exceptionally awful year and she really made a difference for me when most people are impatient and dismissive (I also have dementia so it's hard for me to sound sensible and ask for assistance concisely). She was an outstanding help in a company I already really liked working with. I'd recommend Chewy for many reasons, most especially for their customer service group. They also have rarely ever run short on supplies of my favorite products, even during the height of COVID supply problems and they only had a temporary dip in their website performance after PetSmart acquired them and integrated their tech (Chewy's website was exceptional prior to the acquisition and I haven't had trouble with it for some years, now). They really have been an exceptional company over the years and I'd highly recommend them for anyone who buys pet supplies.

2 different times, I received rancid hairball gel for our cat for a total of 8 tubes and $110.00. When I spoke with customer service, I was told the hairball gel is non replaceable and they are sorry for my loss. I have been buying this product at our local pet shop for over 7 years and never once had a rancid tube. Bad products, poor quality assurance and even worse customer service.

I placed an order on 9/26 and specifically put items in that would qualify for the promotion and the total over $100 so I could get the $30 gift card promotion. It showed up in my cart when I checked out. However I never got it. When I contacted them on 10/11, I was told sorry you must of removed it before completing the order. Which I most certainly did not! And we can only give you a $10 credit because the promotion has ended. Watch out for this because if you dont see it in an email right away you need to contact them right away while the promotion is on, otherwise you will get cheated.

Chewy is very reliable, carries all the brand we prefer, and offers comPETitive prices. Our beloved Labradoodle died somewhat unexpectedly after a major surgery. She was on a very expensive specialty food, and we'd just received our regular shipment. When she passed away, we asked if we should send the food back. They asked that we donate the food to a worthy pet rescue or shelter. Chewy is the only pet supply vendor we will ever use!

Their marketing is unreliable. I ordered once yet they will not allow their offer of 20% on the first 3 orders. I called and she only repeated the same message 3 times. In my opinion, do not trust their website and poor marketing ploys.

Chewy is the best company! I’ve shopped with them for years and they have the best prices from food, supplies & meds. We had to set our girl free 2 1/2 weeks ago because she had Insulinoma (pancreatic cancer) and she had progressed. We had just ordered a new blood sugar monitor and received it the day we had made the appt to send her off. I was a mess and notified Chewy I needed to send it back. They not only said to keep/donate the monitor, they refunded my credit card, they sent me beautiful flowers with a card the following day. A week later they sent me another card letting me know how sorry they were for my loss of my sweet girl Emmie. Oh and I must mention when she was diagnosed and we had to start her on steroids they sent her a treat and a toy. Unbelievable! I cannot tell you how much their kindness meant to my husband and I. We highly recommend them and will only use them for our next pup. Thank you Chewy for your outstanding, compassionate, kind, best customer service.

I placed an order on October 2nd that they put a label on and did not ship. I asked on the 4th when would the order ship. They kept saying it had shipped but refused to acknowledge that label created meant it was still sitting on their dock and FedEx had not received it. When the order finally shipped they decided to recall the order and replace it but now the feed will not arrive in time to feed my animals, but they have my money. I had placed the order with time for it to arrive before I ran out, but they have made sure that it will not. They said they processed a refund, but I won't receive that for 10 days. And refunds and rhetoric do not feed the animals.

Dealing with chewy is just a hassle. We have one simple autoship order with them and every month there is a new problem. They never disappoint. One month the order is held up so we call them for no reason. Another month we just get a cancellation email days after we were supposed to get our order. Overall, very poor experience.

They need to STOP running the ad on YouTube of dogs chewing. I don't want to ever hear chewing. I rip my earbuds out of my ears in disgust. Chewy makes me feel sick.

They falsely advertise to get customers. I started to order with Chewy seen a advertisement on Facebook on your first 3 orders 20% off didn’t notice which is my bad but my order was $200 it was only deducted $20 so I reached out to them by email they gave this bs story that it maxes out at $20 I replied back stating they are false advertising then I received another email telling me they understand the frustration of there terms and conditions you need to apply the promo code NEW2CHEWY checking out I did do that but it was saying it was expired even provided them with a screen shot. All in all they did nothing for me the money is not a issue as I told them but my problem is they are falsely advertising to new customers. Don’t fall for the discounts

Done with Chewy. The default with all products is auto ship. So, I am so careful to mark the box "one time purchase" and still it reverts to auto ship. I am wiling to pay more for one time purchase. Just received a second cat scratcher that my cat won't use.

Chewy truly is one of a kind. I lost my pet. It was very hard to call & cancel my orders then also telling them why i was cancelling. I wish i knew the gentleman's name but he was very compassionate when assisting me. He lowered his tone & he talked about my pet with & offered exceptional empathy. I was perfectly satisfied with his care at the end of my call. 2 weeks later, I received flowers at my door offering condolences to me. This was the most compassionate unexpected surprise I never would have expected. For all of this, in the future, my pet care will go through Chewy without question. Thank you so much to the Chewy Family!

I love that Chewy now carries Smallbatch pet food. My dogs love the freeze dried chicken recipe. I love the mission of Smallbatch and the use of humanely raised and organic ingredients. Now I can conveniently order with my other pet supplies on Chewy.
