I ordered for next day delivery but it did not arrive as expected. Three days later still no ladder but conflicting emails from BPS and XPD the courier. Spoke to BPS, just told they were busy and nothing could be done - zero customer care - and that they were unable to speak to the courier, spoke again a day later and cancelled the order. No follow up from them. Still waiting for my money back, phoned today and now the Bank Holiday is the problem - a week after cancelling. Will not be using these guys again, complete clowns.

I ordered a 6m DIY scaffold tower to carry out repairs on my facia/gutters. It was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. Building it took about 1.5 hours altnough I am sure I could do it in half that time next time. With the supplied outriggers I found it to be a surprisingly stable work platform. I hate working from a ladder so this is a much safer proposition. Dismantling took about 20 minutes. This is made from lightweight alloy sections so is easy to manhandle, but clearly not for industrial/trade use.

Very disappointing experience with BPS. My mother in law ordered a shed with promised next day delivery (this was on a Saturday lunchtime). She was told it would be delivered Tuesday. Fine. As it would have been the next working day - although a bit annoyed it didn't say next *working* day delivery on the website. She took the day off work so she could be there for it to be delivered, it was a no show. She took the next day off too, called them to see where it was, and they said the driver ran out of time the day before and it would be delivered that afternoon. Again, no show! Decided the next day to call and ask for a refund. God knows how long that will take given some of the reviews on here - people saying they have to go through management to get their money back! It's very disappointing treatment of their customers. She's a recently widowed woman in her 60's and been given the complete run around by BPS. She can't just keep using up her holidays at work to wait for a delivery to not show up repeatedly. I'm looking forward to getting the standard response they give to every bad review "My apologies for the issues that you have experienced, we will reach out to you in order to get resolved BPS Depot Team"!

Updated after BPS reply: They're at least consistent in that they deliberately lie. While replying to my review to say they would get in contact, they never did. Haven't even replied to my emails. Chargeback has started with bank. AVOID. I've never come across, what seems to be a legitimate company, quite like it. Next day delivery supposedly, yet days later still no delivery. Contact customer service and you just get a daily repeated 1 line response "it'll be delivered today". No explanation, no identifying you by name absolutely no interest. Seems they take orders they have no intention of honouring, yet ignore request to refund your funds. Now have had to do a chargeback with my bank. Really poor business and no customer service whatsoever

Advertised as next day delivery. Called 2 days later to request update and was promised podium would be dispatched that day and delivered in 3 days, not great but i will get it just in time for the job. Called 3 days later don't have stock and never did have. Either incompetent or liars, either way shop elsewhere.

I ordered some universal ladder feet from BPS on Monday 24th March they arrived next day by first class post but clearly wouldn't fit my ladder. On Tuesday 24th I photographed my ladder and sent measurements to BPS by email. Early on Wednesday 26th Bryan, from BPS, phoned and felt he could help me. He dispatched the correct part and I was able to return the incorrect part paying only the difference between the cost of the new part and the incorrect one. All resolved within the week. Truly first class service. Thank you

Have been using a BPS tripod ladder until this weekend when I lost the rear leg retaining pin ! One telephone call to Bryan at BPS and the problem was solved as he kindly posted me a new one! Back to hedge cutting when it arrives on Wedsnesday. Thank you for the excellent service.

Four metre tower. The tower I received was true to description, the instructions were very easy to follow which made it simple to erect. When on the platform I feel very safe. The after sales service was prompt and very efficient. I would recommend BPS all day long.

Ordered a set of aluminium garden furniture, there was a slight hic-up with the delivery company which BPS not only sorted (thank you Carly) but followed up to ensure that we were happy. Goods arrived with great packaging, easy to follow instructions and we now have a fantastic looking set with a quality far exceeding expectations for the price. Delighted

Ordered ladders yesterday morning 25/02/25, Ladders arrived today at 12.00, great product, great price, amazing delivery, lady on the phone awesome 👌, would recommend.

Called this company today to looking to purchase the feet for a. 3way domestic ladder and they will send them out free of charge .Was happy to pay but they don’t want anything .This is very much appreciated and speaks a lot about how customer should be treated Excellent service

Very poor communication and customer service. Although I specified the date I needed it to be delivered via the phone, they tried to send it on 3-4 other dates that I did NOT specify and was unable to be home for delivery. I had to keep ringing the company to get the delivery stopped. Yesterday (the date it was supposed to be delivered) I sat home all day waiting rang the company again at approx 4.45pm to check on progress to be told “not to worry it was definitely going to be delivered” IT WAS NOT, No form of compensation offered for the inconvenience as other companies would have done.It is now apparently going to be delivered tomorrow and I’ll believe it when I see it.

Excellent service from this company. Original order did not arrive despite XPD saying it did but could not supply proof. Reported to Arlene who looked into it and decided to send the order again by DX. This arrived next working day at 09:30. Super service from BPS. Rubbish service from XPD

Terrible company, do not use under any circumstances. Ordered a ladder for next day delivery, never turned up . Told me the courier had lost the 3m ladder !!! I suspect they are selling things they dont have in stock. Then time wasting until they can find one . Terrible service . Avoid .

Ordered loft ladder supposed to be next day delivery arrived a day late, open up and was badly damaged, they arranged to pick up the damaged one and send a new one again next day delivery, again it was a day late and the box was so damaged that we did not accept the delivery and the courier too it back. They say that they can't give me a refund as they have not got the package back yet, so where has it been for the past 2 days

I have had my wooden loft ladders for over 10 years now, absolutely brilliant ladders that are well made. The rubber feet perished through a lot of use over the years. I spoke to Carly who was very helpful getting me replacements. Its great to be able to deal with a company that is so helpful

I ordered a 5m DIY scaffold kit in early December, I didn't open at the time as it wasn't needed. When I opened the ladders (early Jan) they were bent on one side, must have been during transit. Anyway I contacted them and they replaced all parts no questions asked and the parts were at my home within 48 hours. Excellent customer service. I have since erected the kit and I'm really pleased with it, it goes together really easy and feels sturdy even though I don't have the outriggers. If you are thinking of buying from them you don't need to worry, excellent customer service and excellent product.

This company is brilliant with their product and after care Rang up needing a replacement plastic foot after damaging it. Really helpful at getting me the replacement part and in this instance FOC Would highly recommend them
