I have had my BPS loft ladder for more years than I care to remember and it is still in excellent condition. However recently it was damaged but BPS came to the rescue and sent the necessary replacement pieces. The service was very quick and efficient. I would thoroughly recommend the product and service.

Trudy in customer services expedited the delivery of our new replacement loft hatch after the first one was lost by their courier. She didn’t need to. And didn’t make a big song and dance about it. She just did the right thing. I like that. Oh and loft hatch was great. Fitted easily and good quality. Well done Trudy and well done team!

Amazing company to deal with. Spoke with Bryan Mpofu, who has arranged everything for me. I brought my ladder 10 months ago, and they still helped me. Great Product, Great Customer Service. Its not a product you buy often, but buy with confidence, and when I need another ladder, they will be the first people I call.

Is BPS going bankrupt? WEEK after WEEK I have been given the run around for £2000 refund. Do not believe them if they tell you that a product is in stock. They promise immediate refunds that don't happen and fail to send proof of payment. They wont correspond by email. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Update After taking to trust pilot, social media, linked in and going up up the management tree. Refund has been received.

Ordered 'In Stock' items which turned out to be not in stock. Emails & phone calls ignored. Still waiting 4 weeks from promised next day delivery. Avoid

I ordered a Concertina Loft Ladder from BPS which was purchased via the B&Q marketplace. BPS were the merchant behind the sale and I was very impressed with them. I was going to order direct, but B&Q had the item listed £30-ish cheaper for the exact same product. The ladder was shipped next day with DPD and came in no time at all. It arrived in good condition, however, the pole was missing. But a quick easy message to BPS via the help page on B&Q got me the part delivered in 2 days. It was great service and I was doubtful after reading some reviews here...

1 out of the three items didn’t arrive (the ladder). Chased up, said it would be the next day, it didn’t arrive, chased again, same status. Said they had contacted the courier but also said I could try them myself. I phone and was immediately told the ladder was damaged. Go back to bps and they are now sending another one, but it’s going to have been a whole week before I get my ladder that I needed for the weekend.

Decided to buy an adjustable tripod ladder from BPS. Glad I chose adjustable version as garden is uneven. Quality construction, lightweight and stable on uneven ground.

A couple of years ago, I bought a Trade Master Professional Scaffold Tower – 7.4m. I am delighted with it. The big job I wanted it for was to add insulation to the walls of my house. The upper half of my house is tile hung; I removed all the tiles, pinned Superquilt to the battens, fitted new battens over the top, then re-hung the tiles. A big job, but the scaffold tower made it safe and easy, and I’m now enjoying the saving on my heating bills. The tower is light and easy to transport, but strong and stable. The adjustable feet mean it copes with uneven ground no problem. I’ve also used it fix a second storey bay roof, and just put it away after the annual cut of my neighbour's 5m high hedge. I love it!

We have used BPS for all our ladder needs over the last 2 years and have found them to be excellent value, reliable quality, with great customer service.

I have placed two orders with BPS. The first, for a tower, arrived late due to items being out of stock even though I checked they were in stock. When delivered items were damaged and needed to be replaced. When a 3 star review was left BPS contacted me and attempted to bribe me if I changed the review. Now for the worst part. A second order was placed for some some additional parts for the tower. I called to check they were in stock, which they were. BPS sent me a written quote which was accepted and paid for on production of an invoice from BPS. I was then contacted to say the items were out of stock and had to wait another six weeks for the delivery. When the delivery arrived three of the items were missing. When I contacted BPS they said they were not ordered. To validate this BPS sent me a fake invoice without the the missing three parts on it. This invoice was for a totally different amount from the quote, the payment made to them and the invoice they originally sent me...they did not even have the intelligence to make the fake invoice value the same as the payment. This is bordering on fraudulent trading and if they do not resolve this with a huge amount of remorse they will get a report to Trading Standards and a chargeback on the card charge. I wish I had never used them. I recommend you steer well clear of this company. EDIT (28 Nov 24) I eventually got through to a manger on the phone. They sent the missing parts with some persuading. Initially, they were obstructive and took the line that they were right to send just just one. Luckily for me, numbers don't lie and I had all the evidence I needed to prove my case. Eventually, I was told the error was caused by a transition from one ordering 'system' to another. Unless I absolutely had to, I would not buy again from this company. If they fooled me a third time that makes me the fool!

Ladder quality is high and comes assembled which is very helpful. Package was missing screws for connecting pole but BPS resolved the issue

I don’t normally review companies, but in this case I have to say the customer service has been outstanding. One YEAR ago I bought the 2 section loft ladder while the house was being done up. My builders chucked out some of the parts of the ladder. So 12 months down the line I call BPS who go to great lengths to identify the missing parts and replace them for me. Delighted and thank you.

Terrible experience. Took 5 weeks to get my ladder which was shown as being "in stock and available for next day delivery" when ordered, and continued to be shown on BPS website as being so for the entire 5 week wait. Ordered for next day delivery on 29th Sept, got email from them on 1st Oct saying out of stock and expecting new stock within 2 weeks (15th Oct).....contacted customer services after 2 weeks as heard nothing and was told it would be 29th Oct before they got stock in. Finally despatched by BPS on 1st November, delivered by courier on 4th November ! At no point is it next day delivery as promised and a 5 week wait is totally unacceptable service. Avoid this company if you are relying on a product arriving. Totally unreliable company who take your money with promises of "in stock and available for next day" and I suspect gather together several orders before bothering to order product from the manufacturer and hence get a bulk discount from them !

I purchased the Trade Master Pro Tower 7.4 MTR. This was quickly delivered as promised and the courier was polite and helpful. Since then I have used this tower on numerous occasions both indoors and out. The tower is easy to assemble and adjust on uneven ground. It's very stable and the build quality is excellent. I had an issue with the locking mechanism of the wheels which I reported to BPS. This was responded to very quickly and efficiently. BPS asked for some photographs and video to help them understand the issue. The replacement components were the dispatched to me and arrived next day. I'm very happy with the tower and confident that the after sales service is excellent. Happy to recommend BPS and would very happily purchase from them in the future.

Great service and staff, I ordered a ladder they Emailed me stating it was out of stock , I got back to them saying I needed it urgently and they sorted another Ladder at no extra cost and delivered quickly. Thoroughly recommend .

Jesus what a faff. Ordered a ladder they boast take a day to deliver, only for them to take an entire week to tell me what I had ordered and paid money for was out of order all along, and the one that they had apparently sent was “lost in transit”. How do you lose a 6 meter ladder in transit but deliver the accessories that were ordered alongside it? Clearly lied to cover poor sales admin - integrity is critical for business. Still waiting for this weeks later and I have been told it will be some time after another two weeks. No specific date known by them so zero grip on their own supply. To top it off customer services haven’t replied to my email in over a week. No resolution so far, and have been given minuscule reassurance.

When you order from BPS be sure to check the package tracking daily, Ordered Monday, my confirmation said due Friday and it turned up Tuesday. Fortunately I was there when it arrived. Good product, fairly easy to build but allow extra time for the first use as you have to fit all the bolts on the frames. Would have been 5 stars however the product description says "fully welded frame structure" but the rungs are only welded on the 2 sides. Definitely good enough for the minimal times I will need to use it. Getting through the trapdoors on the platforms a little awkward due to the size but that's a trade-off for getting a tower that can be used with restricted space.
