From the first phone call I made to notify Austin’s that my mother had passed away and could we arrange for her body to be collected, everyone we have dealt with has been wonderful. I used Austin’s for my wife who sadly passed away from cancer in a local hospice, and they were thoroughly professional from start to finish. I wasn’t aware of how this process worked, but they made it easy, and guided me through the big decisions I needed to make for my wife’s funeral and memory. It felt personal and thoughtful, and everything was handled sensitively. I hope no one has to use a funeral director for their loved one, but when you inevitably do, then I can’t fault the service Austin’s provide and how they made the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to deal with as straight forward as possible. From meeting Hayley she put us so much at ease. She was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of the cremation, advising us on all aspects. She showed compassion in dealing with us throughout a difficult time in our lives. At the crematorium Gary guided us through the process of greeting the friends and colleagues of our son.

Austins of Welwyn looked after my sister's funeral, and their level of care is second to none. From the first moment to the last, everyone I came into contact with made sure I was comfortable with what was happening and kept me informed every step of the way. Austins are the only funeral directors I would want to use in future thank you for making the whole process as easy as it could be.
