Austin's provided a one stop,professional, efficient empathetic and exemplary service from the very first encounter to the burial. All the staff are a true credit to the company, extremely efficient, warm, reassuring and display good interpersonal skills.

From the very start of the process, our contact (Julie) was always there for us, explaining, supporting and facilitating every aspect - not just the funeral but advising on anything and everything we were unsure about, and a few complications which arose along the way. So much more than just a funeral service - I would genuinely say, if you are looking for a funeral director there's no need to shop around, just choose Austin's.
Hertford Branch Very helpful staff, firstly in Jane and then Sharon within the office. The funeral day was led by the very professional Lee Mayson. Service carried out by the wonderful Nicola Martin-Davis who knew us and helped with the process with much empathy. Made the whole sad experience feel calm. Thank you x

Austin’s were excellent, I feel that Suzanne went above and beyond to get us the funeral that we wanted and arranged everything, and was so very understanding and thoughtful, all the staff that we have dealt with at Austin’s were friendly and respectful. When you need to know everything is in place, Gary and the team were amazing. When Dad passed there was no question of who we would look to for support and it was definitely the right decision as they had been amazing with mums passing 2 years before. Thank you all for the care and compassion and above all helping us give dad a beautiful goodbye.
I am lucky enough to have never needed to arrange a funeral before this one so choosing a director was just based on the "feel" and somehow Austins felt right - and I was correct. They were always helpful and sympathetic and nothing was too much trouble and on the day the gentlemen who brought the coffin and dealt with the family were so smartly dressed on such a hot summer's day - it felt so respectful. Hopefully I won't be dealing with them again too soon but I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them if I had to and it would be my wish that my family use their services too.
