We were really pleased with the service we received from all the staff at the Hitchin branch of Austin’s. Everything went very smoothly and the communication between us, Austin’s and the Pastoral Assistant at the church was excellent. Dealing with organising my Uncle’s funeral from a distance (we live in Kent) was initially daunting but we needn’t have been concerned at all - everything went to plan. The care shown to my Aunt throughout the arrangement process was excellent and the respect given to my late Uncle was very much appreciated. Exceptional customer service - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Amazing staff and service especially from Julie Wilkinson and Neil Wilkinson who looked after me and of course my lovely mum who passed. Highly recommend Austin’s for any funeral.

The empathy and professionalism shown by all of the staff was exemplary. Gary in particular was fantastic and so patient with us all on the day. He is so perfect in his role. We are a large family and he had us all in the right place at the right time. Suzannah and Justine were very helpful over our choices for the order of service and everything went so smoothly. The way everyone spoke about mum was so respectful too. The day was perfect snd exactly how it was meant to be.

This was my first time of dealing with a Funeral Directors & the process was made so much easier by Jackie, Gary & Jane of the Hitchin branch of Austins. Their kindness, compassion & professionalism has been greatly appreciated by myself, my brother & my Mum. My Dad was treated with the utmost respect in the Chapel of Rest & with the dignity he deserved & both Jane & Jackie were there to offer their support to us as a family when we visited. On the day of the funeral Gary, Reece & Kai were friendly & professional. They guided us through the process & checked in regularly to ensure we were ok. The celebrant, Amanda Boxer, met with us in person & listened patiently to my brother & I talking about our late Dad & kept in contact with us on a regular basis leading up to the funeral. Amanda delivered a wonderful service on the day and we have been left with lovely memories. Thank you so much Austins. We will definitely use you again ( although hopefully not too soon) & would not hesitate in recommending you to family & friends.

Buntingford Funeral Services were incredible during our sad time. Lisa was so professional yet friendly and sympathetic and made us feel at ease and reassured that all will be fine on the day of my father’s funeral. Simon and his team were so brilliant on the day as well. Thank you so very much.

Susannah was very respectful and made everything comfortable, she explained what we needed to know. On the day, Lee and his team were supportive to what was a very sad day.

We had a truly positive experience with Julie and Veronica at the Ware office. They provided exceptional support during a difficult time, handling all the details with care and professionalism. The thoughtful touch of arranging flowers, tribute videos, and a video stream of the service, brought comfort to our family. The celebrant they recommended made a meaningful impact. It’s always reassuring when everything comes together seamlessly in moments of need.

The service we received from Austin's was second to none. We were guided through the process by Jackie who was kind and considerate. She attended to our every need and as a result we felt we were receiving a very personal service. The service itself was beautiful and everything we could have wanted for our Mum.The minister Nicola was also wonderful, giving time on the phone to talk through the service but also offering many words of comfort. The funeral director Lee and his team offered the correct professional dignity to the event. Everything went extremely smoothly and we are very grateful to Austin's for that. Thank you.

Good and supportive service throughout the process.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. All staff made us very comfortable and saw to all the smallest details. The head undertaker Neil was most friendly and put us at our ease on the day of the funeral. Overall service couldn't have been better. Thank you.

Really great, personal service. Couldn’t fault anything about it. All staff were very sensitive & attentive. Special mention for Caroline who was fantastic in booking the ceremony & during my chapel visits. Also, Gary who was great during the ceremony. My friend Esther is also a fabulous celebrant & did us proud.
