From the very first phone call Austin’s made organising my mother in laws funeral stress free. Every member of staff were so kind, compassionate and courteous and took their time to answer any queries we had. We did have a colour scheme and on the day funeral staff wore co-ordinating colour ties which was a lovely touch. Caroline arranged our funeral and matched us perfectly with an officiant, Cara Murphy, who too was amazing. The chapel of rest is beautiful and homely, which made it very comfortable for the younger grandchildren to say their last goodbyes as well as the older grandchildren who have never been to a chapel of rest before. Family members from outside of Stevenage were extremely impressed with the service provided by Austin’s.

From the time Austins collected my father from the Nursing home to the funeral, they were very respectful and considerate. They could not have done more to support us in this difficult time.

Austin’s managed the whole process flawlessly. It was a great funeral befitting my husband.

It was obviously a very heart breaking time. Hayley and Claire were wonderful taking us through everything and Esther the celebrant was just as good getting us to talk about mum, our memories of the good times we had, from that she put together a service, bringing in parts of my Dads funeral that mum had requested. I could hear my mum saying just what I wanted. Then Gary took over at the actual service making sure it all went to plan and as stress free as possible. My experience at Austin's was great. The funeral Director was very helpful and made sure I had ticked everything I needed to do for the funeral. I was accompanied by a Lawyer friend and a Doctor to view My Husband when he was in Austin's care. It was my first experience and My Husband looked as though he was sleeping but for both of them it was the best experiences they had ever had out of many. The Doctor said "This is the most beautiful corpse I have ever seen in all my practice" and the whole atmosphere was very nice. Thank you for the service and care on the day of the funeral. The whole family and friends appreciated the perfect send off my husband was given. We asked God and He worked everything out beautifully. Thank you God for leading us to Austin's funeral Service.

The process from my wife's passing to her cremation was made easy by the staff of Austins at their Ware branch. Nothing was too much trouble for them and myself and my family were consulted every step of the way. My wife was treated with utmost respect at the chapel of rest and treated with the dignity that she deserved.
