The staff at Austin’s were outstanding from start to finish they handled everything with such care and dignity Lisa from Buntingford was amazing and handled everything for my dear mum with such care and compassion as she also did previously for my Dad she always made us feel so relaxed when we visited on the day Neil was amazing taking care of every detail we could not have asked for anything else the team were absolutely amazing and myself and the family are truly great Gil for their kindness at such difficult times and we cannot recommend them enough

Outstanding service delivered with kindness and genuine empathy. Just the right amount of humour and they took the time to truly understand what I wanted to achieve for my husbands Goodbye. I was aware of Austin good reputation from using their service before when my in laws passed away. The staff were very approachable made me and my family very relaxed in difficult times. They made the experience for us as a family alot easier for us to managed. Sharon was very helpful she went that extra mile in making sure the music was just right for my father just as we wanted. I felt as if i had known her for years. Kurt in the chapel of rest was very understanding our chatting over various topics and Kurt helping me and my mother with the finishing touches to my dads coffin made it feel for me as if my dad was part of the conversation very relaxed which was what we wanted. I came out of there with a warm glow through out me. Sorry the chap who led ,the procession was very understanding and professional Lyn was lovely and approachable, she carried out our wishes just as we requested lovely personal service ,a few people come up to myself and said it was the best service they had ever been to. That made me proud. A big thankyou to all x
Dealing with a close relative passing is a difficult time, from start to finish Austin's were helpful, considerate and professional. They guided us through the process and organisation of steps that needed to be taken, ensuring that we only had to focus on the relevant parts rather than the whole daunting task.

The staff at the Ware branch have guided and supported us with the utmost kindness and sensitivity through the whole process of arranging and carrying out our Mum's funeral. Julie in the office was so knowledgeable and helpful it made the whole thing much easier, especially as Mum wanted a green burial which is a little bit out of the ordinary. Neil and his team were extremely respectful and helped us through the whole ceremony on the day. My sisters and I can't thank you enough.

ALL of my family were extremely pleased with the service Austin’s staff provided looking after our Dad after he passed away and then assisting us with his funeral arrangements. We were arranging the funeral for one of our resident who had no family to organise it. Austin were helpful and respectful to her needs.

Very friendly staff, very efficient and helpful from first appointment right through to the day of the service. The drivers Of the cars kept us informed of everything that was happening and were also thoughtful and caring .Harwood crematorium is lovely set in lovely grounds . Nothing was to much trouble ..This is not the first family funeral we have used Austin’s for and will definitely have no worries about using them again .

1. Kerry's charge of the printing element was superb. She must have given freely of times out of her normal working hours to bring to fruition the original mid-December requests which always included, as an integral part of the service, (a) the 'Always Beloved' Book of Photographs, Poetry and Prose and (b) the order of service. 2. The out of hours team were also fabulous and so very warm-hearted and generous to me of their humanity as well as their time: Neil, Sam, Kurt and John, all lovely. Given that I visited the Chapel of Rest daily, I was adding to their time demands. 3. And I was very grateful to be given a long visiting option, 10am to 2pm, the day before the funeral, as, prior to this (both in and out of hours), all visits were limited to 30-minute time slots, which I had not known previously. 4. Hayley was also very able with her sequencing of funeral requests and requirements - showing brochures and options for flowers, coffins, etc; arranging the relevant paperwork; communicating ongoingly. She also made two very lovely collages for the joint order of service. This was very thoughtful. 5. To receive a condolence card from Claire Austin; a personal email hoping all was to satisfaction; and the request for this survey to be completed was also a sign of personal care, attention to detail and sound ethics. 6. As the first funeral I have ever had to organise, this was the most important day of my life and to have Austins professionalism with me was an enormous support.

Excellent service from start to finish, from the time we had appointment with Janine at your Stevenage branch, Heather ( celebrant) conducted the service beautifully and special mention to Gary who was throughly professional throughout.
