I'm writing to thank all the staff at Austin’s for their sympathy and understanding when organising the funeral for my uncle Daniel on the 8th March 2023. Due to Daniel’s untimely death there was no will or plans for the funeral, we didn't have a funeral directors in mind we chose Austin’s because you are a local firm. We made the right choice and we were really happy with all aspects of your service, and the attention to detail. We'd especially like to thank Veronika who talked us through everything. You were very kind, thank you for helping us through that difficult time and making sure everything went well and smoothly at the funeral As recommended, I’d also wish to say a huge thanks you to Jenny White our funeral celebrant for the great service we received. Everyone commented on such a lovely service the music and photo tribute were perfect it was a beautiful send-off for Daniel, turning an intensely emotional day into a day full of lovely memories. Very kind, empathetic and personal service. June was very professional throughout and kept me updated on each step of the process. On the day itself, Danny was superb and took care of us so thoughtfully. It really showed that they genuinely cared about taking care of us from start to finish.
The team at the Stevenage branch of Austin’s helped make an extremely painful process go as smoothly as possible. The process was difficult for all of us, we were all distraught, but Caroline handled everything efficiently, patiently and compassionately. The initial planning was very thorough especially checking the orders of service from the printers. The staff were compassionate , respectful and attentive and did all they could to make the day run smoothly. We felt in safe hands at what is a difficult time.
From the moment we met Lisa she put our minds at rest that everything would be done smoothly and professionally. She went out of her way to meet our needs, even staying late so I could drop things to her. When we visited she guided us, even offering a cup of tea when upset. The day went without a hitch and the men were turned out immaculate On the whole they all made an experience we were dreading much easier. So professional
From our first meeting at Buntingford, throughtout the whole heartbreaking process...planning, chapel visit and the funeral itself. We were handled with care, compassion and empathy. My darling wife was given the beautiful day her beautiful life deserved. Thank you Lisa and all at Austins.
