The overall service was exceptional. From the request of a Funeral Plan to the funeral service. Everyone involved treated us with upmost respect, consideration and professionalism.
Having never planned a funeral before, we didn't know what to expect. Austins made everything straightforward, with regards to choices we needed to make, costs and next steps. Every member of staff was easy to talk to; we never felt hassled. I hope I won't need to plan another funeral for some time but, when/if that time comes, I know who my first port of call will be.
Everybody involved, from my first visit to the event itself, acted with a real professional attitude. The choice of celebrant provided was excellent. She conducted the proceedings with dignity and honesty. A truly inspired choice.

The whole process from start to finish was handled with compassion and kindness. On such an upsetting occasion saying goodbye to my darling wife was made much easier and calmer by the brilliant Jackie Brown in the office and the Funeral Directors on the day. They even went above and beyond and bought all the flowers back to the wake venue which was 11 miles away from Harwood Park. I can only thank Austin's from myself, my family, and our friends for their profesionalism and a special thank you to the wonderful Liz Pilney for conducting the celebration we all wanted for my darling wife.

Every member of staff bent over backwards to offer help. The operation is designed to be sensitive and supportive all the way though, from the initial meeting to the helpful tips and reminders. All the subcontractors advised were also fantastic.
Everyone one I dealt with was friendly and very helpful. All my questions were answered and people always got back to me promptly.

Neil and the pallbearers were very helpful and supportive on the day of the funeral and the service went well.
Everything was well organised and every detail was just right. June was are first point of contact and she guided us through the whole process. She was incredibly kind and professional. Danny was also excellent, calling us the day before and on the morning of the funeral to confirm times and details. Those details are so important - a company used for my father's funeral were not as attentive to those details and it makes all the difference. Austin's liaised with our church and our florist and the service was beautiful, just what my mum wanted. We have nothing but thanks for the service we received from Austin's.

As a family we choose Austin’s funeral Directors in Hertford for My mothers funeral . As we used them for my fathers funeral 12 years ago . I cannot thank them enough . All the staff dealt with us as a family with compassion . All the staff was friendly throughout . Every thing we asked for was done to high standards . They made a very emotional time , somewhat comforting . Thank you on behalf of myself and my sister .
The whole team from start to finish were extremely caring, considerate and very professional. The organisation leading up to the funeral was excellent. The crematorium team were very thoughtful on the funeral day, making a difficult day go very smoothly. Thoroughly recommended.
