I had been in charge of organising a very important trip for almost 40 international colleagues, across 6 different countries. Anthony was our driver and at no point did I worry about whether our Executive coach would arrive on time, they communicated with me throughout the day, arrived on time and the journey there and back was seamless. Very professional and I would definitely recommend both the company and Anthony. Thank you.

I was in charge of transportation for a large group with a complicated schedule and after requesting quotes from 20 different companies, I was left with 5 relevant offers. I went through all of the reviews online and loved the fact that The Coach Company was always incredibly responsive. Every interaction I had with them was professional and timely - from booking with Peter to managing the details with Paul, they were incredibly accommodating and managed to deal with all my stress as well. The trip itself was flawless - incredible drivers and a really communicative staff with changes along the way. We took a risk taking a company without any personal recommendations and I couldn't be happier with the results. Looking forward to the next time we will have the chance to work with them!

Fast response to my request for a quote. Competitive rates. Company checked in with me regularly in advance of the booking date. Driver confirmed he was on his way on date of booking, arrived on time and was very helpful in getting our students on board and on their way. Company followed up on booking after the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Cancelled our entire booking with 6 days notice, offered no alternatives and no reasonable explanation. Refund took 6 working days. Do NOT recommend.

Used this company for a trip to and from Skegness to Oldham. Turned up on both times at the arranged time and the driver was always in contact with us. Great company

Excellent communication from the company. The driver of our minibus was on time and even managed to dodge a diversion to get us home that little bit faster as there were road closures. He was also lovely.

To be honest i wouldn't give them one star. I booked for 26 people for a return journey to Harrogate. Received a very nice call back a few days after booking, confirming all the pick up / drop offs etc. I Paid the balance in full a few days before the due date. The following day received an Email informing me that they couldn't honour my booking however if i was to pay another £670 they would be able to provide a coach. Would absolutely NOT recommend this company.

NEVER USE: - Coach there was great but return left 20 high needs students (some non verbal) crying as the driver drove dangerously down the motorway. - This was after arriving an hour later than their already rescheduled time (without telling me, I had to find out from one of our clients who reached out to them). - The driver then couldn't leave for a further hour (so we're now running 4 hours late). Young people got home at 8pm rather than 3pm and there was no apology. - The company didn't care and said i hadn't put in a complaint in on time despite emailing them about being late on the day and saying i wanted to put in a complaint (apparently they have no record of this and a recorded call that also highlights my desire to put in a complaint). - Got told they wouldn't do anything about the driver. After further emails and pressure they vaguely suggested they'd see what hat happened to the driver. - Here's a quote from one of the teachers "Upon arriving at Oaktree School I noticed that the driver made a call to someone that spoke the same language as him, Hindi/Urdu. Partially understanding bits of the language, I understood that the driver was justifying his actions on the road saying that “Someone cut in front of him causing him to swerve”. He also mentioned something along the lines of the amount of time it took to get back. On the way back from Wales, the driver has been driving very recklessly cutting in front and close of other vehicle's. This is completely unsafe especially due to weather condition which was heavy rain." - This was all after trying to change the price of my booking 3 months after I paid the deposits. - They really don't care that this also affects our reputation (we're a really small company). - Really sad to know they can take almost £3k for a booking and care so little about what they do. Absolutely never use this company.

A great experience by speaking to the operations member RAY a great guy who solved my issue quickly and effectively. Write down everything you want in a coach company on a piece of paper: fair pricing, good communication, honesty, reliability, clean coaches, modern coaches, safe coaches. Now, take that piece of paper, screw it into a little ball, then shove it where the sun doesn’t shine – you’ve been had baby! Thecoachcompany.co.uk is one snivelling, pitiful globule of everything to avoid when booking travel. Amazingly, they don’t actually own any coaches - they’re only the brokers, although they like to keep this fact on the down low. Thecoachcompany.co.uk take your booking, then contact ‘coach operators’ to ‘fulfil’ your booking which means zero accountability on their part. So they are simply middlemen skimming profits without owning or operating anything of value, acting as a glorified booking agent that piggybacks off the real service providers. For a visual image of these profit-parasite-seat-scavengers, imagine Fagin gleefully rubbing his long bony hands together in ‘Oliver Twist’ whilst counting gold coins. The ‘operators’ they use to ‘fulfil’ your booking? The coaches look like they’ve been cobbled together on ‘Scrapheap Challenge’ and the drivers emit ‘I failed my DBS check’ vibes. Do not use. That is all.
