Absolute scam of a company! since the takeover of Gallagher this place has continued to decline in service, I think they are trying to run the company into the ground. Always short staffed so obvious to me something is going on which I guess wouldnt be positive, can only imagine what there office looks like. AVOID and use direct line!

I have used rentguard for a number of years- the renewal process is always very straight forward and it is always very easy to talk to the team on the phone. The people who answer the phone have always been able to quickly resolve my queries. Recently I had to make a number of changes to the policy very quickly - Reena in customer services was amazing- she was able to action the changes really quickly and amazingly I was never put on hold. Thankyou

Hello my policy was due to expire, and had to renew over the phone as I am abroad. To make matters worse because of the time difference I was due to play pool for a team. The sales executive was a true star as he had to call me back as my match had just begun, lots of questions and he made the policy very clear. 100% top sales staff and pleasure doing business with. I had no problem with renewal. I paid by bacs. My problem is that I didn’t phone and reviewed my policy. Because of the increased price and when I realised it was the due date.

As an Insurance Intermediary we use Rentguard's services on a weekly basis. Excellent service and policies they sell are all with A+ rated insurers.

I submitted a claim MONTHS ago, along with all the information required. I have heard nothing from Rentguard Insurance. The last email from Nyssa de Veras said "As we have no claims authority or delegation, we cannot advise on the claims progress." That is nonsense. My relationship is with the insurance company and they should take responsibility for their policyholders. I now find myself having to follow up with the loss adjusting company, QuestGates. This company is clearly a scam (just look at the Trustpilot score and Google reviews) yet Rentguard chooses to do business with them. What does that say about RentGuard? Why do I even pay an insurance premium if my claims are not serviced?? This "insurance company" (that apparently cannot pay claims) is a SCAM. Update: Ernesta, head of customer service, reached out to me following my review and was very empathetic and kind. RentGuard reached out to QuestGates on my behalf, which (finally) elicited a response from them. I have yet to be paid out for my claim.

I have been with rentguard for a few years now. I didn't had any claims but so far I like their prompt communication, good customer service and compatative prices.

I cancelled the buildings insurance on 30 September on a property I sold, I had to send a copy of the completion statement as proof otherwise they wouldn't send a refund. I have been chasing the refund now for almost 3 months and I still haven't had it.

Not value for money. I have to use this company to comply with my lease otherwise I would be going elsewhere. When asked to explain why they were so much more expensive than on comparison websites totally unhelpful
