Have been using Rentguard for a few years and have recently had to make a claim. The service has been great, you actually get through quickly to a real human being and they respond to calls and emails; Shakira in particular has been so helpful, I can't thank her enough. Friendly, professional and efficient, I wish everywhere was like this.

Rentguard are so quick and efficient when i am using their online quoting system. If the online system cannot quote i will be called promptly and the member of staff will check if any insurers are able to quote. Tyrell Joseph is one of the main colleague i would speak to and he is very prompt, helpful and polite helping with queries i may have and providing very competitive quotations

This company doesn’t listen. My company was an introducer, no one told us they had been taken over by Gallagher so an unidentified payment from them was a mystery for some time. I was then informed by letter that we would no longer receive commissions as we were inactive. Recently I have had call after call from them trying to locate one of my landlords. I explained that she’s overseas and they do have her email. I explained this to 3 of their sales men. I told them to check their records. Today again a call which I ignored. I called their customer services department who couldn’t have been LESS helpful. NOT THE RENTGUARD OF OLD.

Still can’t believe the hike in price and lack of explanation. I have paid purely to keep the insurance valid. A quicker answer would have been nice too. Will definitely be looking around for my other properties in future.

I find I don't queue long on the phone which is the main reason I stick with them (as a landlord - queuing 30mins to 1hour every time you call an insurer for every property is just not viable). However Rentguard have been hiking some of my premiums way too much so I'm considering taking my properties elsewhere. I realise materials and labour is on the increase - but there should be a significant discount for a customer with 10 policies.

Competetive price, easy renewal procedure, still awaiting ins docs after a few weeks, sure they will come after Ive chased a few more times.

I wanted to review my policy but my documents wasn’t ready, the system was down, I was thrown from one agent to another, then eventually one wonderful agent took my details and called me back the next day. You need to have a system in place if someone wanted to renew their policy early they can do so easily without any issues.

straight forward, except when the pro forma came it quoted a different bacs payment account to first invoice account. I queried this. No response. I had to go to bank account to verify account belongs to agent.. otherwise all good

insured my portfolio of rented properties for buildings and contents efficiently and competitively. Referred me to another broker to insure our flint cottage which their insurer would not take on as it is not standard brick construction.
