The bike is super, wish I'd bought it sooner, but the battery life is much shorter than indicated. Currently I am having to recharge every other day following get daily runs of 5-6 miles on the flat. This has not changed since original purchase. High power is used most of the time, as the effort to drive the gearing on the motor ishow quite considerable. The shop is too far away ton take the bikey and has been no help at all on the phone. Bike is very heavy.
Bike damaged in transit, had difficulty convincing them to provide a replacement. Far from courteous & respectful. Also ignored emails about warranty issues so questionable long term service. These guys just want your money and then for you to bugger off, as is the British customer service attitude.
I was disappointed with the lack of communication from you.I ordered a battery which took almost 2 months to arrive I had to seek contact to find out why and what was happening .It was not just the delay but the fact no concern about it when I had paid for it
The bike has been great, test driving was no problem and after sale service has also been good.
I bought my e-bike a couple of month aga and have cycled 900 miles of share pleasure and its well maintained by the shop in Twickenham Thanks guys
The Mountain Bike I brought from Loughborough 2 years ago has been a good bike except for parts falling off has parts are always working loose my bike is Fanic 7day Mountain Bike which I am now looking to sell for another bike at the top end Maybe the stromer or the Scott at the right price and if I can exchange what I have
Superb service aftercare brilliant. Service desk which takes ownership of problems and calls back! 3 years later still loving the bike!
Very good place to buy your first electric bike. Plenty of good advice and plenty of time given to make the correct choice. The bikes we bought were not cheap but we do not regret the decision. They are brilliant! We have cycled nearly 2000 miles since we bought them and plan to go on cycling well into our 80's.
Great experience with this company couldn't do enough to help me when buying my new ebike on interest free credit, it was all sorted out in the shop and bike was delivered free the very next day brilliant experience thank you.
Purchased a very expensive e-bike. Had to be shipped over seas. Complete debocle and no bike. Not great with communication. Web site quite missleading.
After approximately 18 months, the motor on my Khalkhoff cycle developed a fault. The defective unit was replaced under guarantee and with no quibbles. The sort of service I would expect from an excellent company like 50 cycles
I am delighted with my ebike I purchased from 50cycles. The guys in the Bristol store were very helpful with my enquiries and also with the purchase. Had a test ride first which they arranged which sold me completely. Helped me fit the bike in my estate car to get it home. Would certainly recommend 50cycles.
Five stars... but seriously, you want me to submit a review 6 years after my purchase ?
I sold my bike through 50 cycles wedsite, then I purchased a new bike. Very easy to deal with and not had any problems, would buy from again.
Nice enough people but my online purchase autumn of 2015 was a shambles. Accessories ordered got confused (I ended up with two useless bicycle pumps). Bike order got forgotten about (they were doing a show) until a month later. On delivery both wheels with loose spokes (untuned wheels) required 60 mile round trip to a bicycle shop. Then having to re-attach the gear cable to get the back wheel back on with someone on the phone trying vainly to guide me... still can't get top gear. Finding the opportunity to get to the bicycle shop meant I didn't even ride the bike for two months. They may have improved their service by now but for a £2000 spend it all left a bitter taste. Come the day I want a new bike I won't be buying from 50 Cycles again.
They were really knowledgeable and helpful.
Avoid them, I probably had the worst after service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. My story is a bit long and involves multiple motor failures but the best example that describes their service is this: they asked me £200 to fix the gears of my bike, I thought it was a bit too much so I went to my local bike shop for a second opinion and the 20 years old assistant fixed it for free without using any tools in 2 minutes!!! Also, there are very rude, stay away.
Always found to be helpful.
Happy with bike
Had problem with back wheel as spokes weren't tightened. A new wheel was shipped to Germany for me. Great service.
