Thankyou Thankyou for the warnings and advice I was just about to commit with these guys and they seem like a bunch of cowboys. Thanks for the warnings from all the legit reviews

Checking TSX before Wealthsimple to get accurate prices. Money transfer are almost instant but can be available only half an hour after (under 1000$) NOT immediately as advertised . If you use anything else than "limit buy", your up for a surprise as purchase actions takes more than 15 minutes (once 1 hour!) and therefore prices change dramatically (once over 0.25$ per share - so big lost). Edit : Did a purchase of 36 stocks (450$) ONE HOUR AND A HALF later..still no confirmation, still no purchase and cant even see activities (as completely blank). (INSANE!!!!!) If you are not laser focus on stocks and keep an eye on activities, you may have bad surprises.

They don't think things through. Try to do less and get it right first before adding features that don't work. Just be honest in your approach. I can see by other reviews you guys are not quite there yet. Shame. There is a lot right about Wealthsimple, but their overreach with service offers, including customer service, is shocking. "Chat with us We're here for you in real-time. Get answers fast from our Virtual Assistant 24/7, or Connect with our team during business hours." Yesterday waited for twenty minutes only to be disconnected before they attended my call. Paying for their "premium service" and it does not resemble a premium service. My monthly funding accordingly should be credited instantly to my account for trading. It hasn't been. So what am I and others paying for. I called. I sent an email. And, I am currently on hold with the chat team after having my time wasted by yet another one of their agents who pass the buck. It is a colossal waste of time. I am just a small account, but I do not abide sloppy service and dishonesty, NOR SHOULD YOU. The pledge of "fast" adds insult to injury. Anybody know if Robinhood has a Canadian offer?

Havin experienced other exchanges I can now say Wealthsimple is the worst of them all. When you buy the price gets higher plus a fee on top of it and when you sell the price gets lower, you do not sell for the price you see tokens are trading for. Now to buy you need money in your Wealthsimple account first and that takes few days, no other exchanges have that.

Left waiting for "Wealthsimple chat" for 30+ minutes, despite being "queue position 1" completely unacceptable!

Don't trade crypto on Wealthsimple!! 1) They charge 1.5% fees on trades (while others charge between 0.01% to 0.1% fees - and no additional fees); 2) They FREEZE your money for 5 DAYS upon deposit: you can't spend it, you can't withdraw it; 3) They basically hold your crypto in hostage: you can't transfer them to another wallet, or spend them or swap them or whatever else; 4) To get your assets out, you have to sell them (and pay their 1.5% fee AGAIN), withdraw your money (if they let you - since they FREEZE it for 5 days), and re-buy your assets somewhere else 5) They have a 15 minutes delay in the crypto rates. What a shame. 6) You have absolutely no control over the price to which you want to buy or sell the asset = it's a surprise after the fact (face palm) 7) Almost no statistics on the crypto except the very general graph shown 8) They currently offer a choice of 30 crypto, but the 3rd most important in market cap is not one of them #BNB - Binance; or Serum #SRM for that matter I feel very frustrated. Support could not do anything for me. Currently, I can't get neither my money nor my assets out. And when I'll do, they'll make me lose money. I regret my business with them.

Never never use wealthsimple They blocked my account and I can’t log in. I tried to contact them and I sent several email but no answer. I didn’t find any phone number from them. If you have and account in wealthsimple transfer your money to your bank as soon as possible before losing it. I lost all of my trust to them.

Web application experience: 5/5 Customer service experience 1/5 Good luck reaching a human in any kind of timely manner. Called yesterday. Waited and waited. Elected to receive a call-back. I'm still waiting. Trying chat today, and stuck in queue for half an hour so far. I see the biggest complaint here seems to be the difficulty getting through to customer service, and the reply being "We're experiencing higher than normal call volumes" going back months. Here's the thing: If you are constantly experiencing "higher than normal call volumes" then those are in fact now your *normal* call volumes.

I am working with Wealthsimple about a year. I had no issue. I am using both Trade and Investment program in high risk level. The investment based on my TFA account. its in 7% profit during a year, not much but its is ok for me. I have 30k in trade platform and I am working with Canada stock only, because it is without fee in trading. I am happy with this company :)

Had to remove my savings due to an unforeseen circumstance. So I had to withdraw my money. In doing so the share price has boomed. This all looks so suspect as it was fine before I did that. Lost almost 15% overnight. It's either bad investment your end or you're trying to rob me, both are concerning. It's like a penalty for asking for my money back. Be aware when using this platform.

Been with this company for 1.5 years, very decent return so far (12%). Very simple interface.

I've been using Wealthsimple for a few years now and they've been great. I don't have time to manage my own portfolio and as a robo investor they've been able to deliver great returns with low fees and allow me to have the peace of mind without all of the up selling hassles of being with a big bank or a broker paid on commission.

I have to admit my experience with WealthSimple has been wonderful thus far! I can fund my TFSA through my Simplii account and buy stock within minutes. Easy peasy! Fingers crossed I won't have any issues going forward. Great customer service as well. Highly recommend this user friendly trading service.

Dreadful Login experience for Group RSP set up. No way to have a conversation other than with a chatbot or an IVR system that will not allow you to have a conversation with someone that could help. I spent over an hour trying to speak with someone. I had an "associate" end my chat without any notice. Note that no explicit or foul language was in the chat. The mobile application/website is not connected with the desktop site (which was used to establish??? the account the previous evening) so you need to answer all the questions over, and over, and over. The syntax used and the "simple" graphics are not for the savvy investor. Finally, I was able to reach an associate, had to be transferred, then even that associate is uncertain if my account was properly established. I would recommend you invest via your bank's direct investing option over starting an account with WealthSimple.

Very helpful and friendly customer support and there was a smooth transfer of my existing ISA fund. I wanted a simple, medium risk managed fund with little intervention from me and Wealthsimple can provide this. Their app for checking the performance of my fund is very simple to use, which is just what I wanted. The performance of my fund over the first couple of months has been very good, and their management fees are very competitive. I would strongly recommend this company if you don't want to get too involved in the fund management.

I used wealthsimple for a month or so made a bunch of transactions with them had probably $1000 in crypto and $6000 in different stocks. One day I couldn't log back into my account so I emailed them with no response I expected to see my $7000 plus money back in my bank but nope. Still haven't heard anything from them. STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Went all through my tax return, submitted it for review or check-up.. whatever they wanna call it.. then, when I tried to submit it, like I've done every year for the past 4-5 years when it was "SIMPLETAX.CA" not "WEALTHSIMPLE.COM".. you gotta pay at least $20 to use it now. Like.. F OFF WEALTH SIMPLE! I'll be saying Bye BYE!!

Very poor return and I ended up losing money. I initially took the advisors comments on board. However, my money was just continued to disappear. I had to accept my loss and close my account.

I trialled this product to track its performance. Its very poor. I feel wealth managers do not have the ability to grow a fund without leverage. I know fund managers that can return 100%. Anything below 25% is a joke. There are a lot of jokes in this space. Too simple to offer technical analysis is a fund that needs to be closed. Invest about 10% of your portfolio in the blockchain and you will beat these suckers just by going long for several years.
