They keep contacting me. I have no business with them. They lie and say that I signed up. I clicked "Unsubscribe" twice now, but the spam keeps coming. This is a scummy and parasitic marketing tactic.

I think this is a scam I put 10000 dollars into a stock then they froze the stock it went up I couldn't sell. I'm out 70000 dollars now. I have money in another stock it's up 20 cents it won't let me sell at when it's up it will only let me sell for less than I paid something isn't right please help.

They dont send my stacking money to me anymore and the fee are very high, i advise you to shop at metamask or coinbase instead or in a dex like petra ( aptos ecosystem)

The only reason I have used this platform thus far is because there aren't many options in Canada and oh my. They are the biggest thieves to exist. They advertise as commission free trading but CANADIAN stocks are sorry to say garbage and for the USA stocks they charge you so high in conversion rates that you take huge losses on trades. You can't day trade or swing trade on this platform. Even their monthly $10 paid service isnt worth it, they take money for subscription and still charge you in conversions and spread. This is the most greedy platform I have used and I hope to move to IBKR ASAP

I like the looks and usability but, it takes FOREVER to sell a stock. You sell your stock on their platform for top dollar and by the time Wealthsimple sells your stock. The stock has plummeted and you lose ALL your profit and then Wealthsimple still takes their profit off the top of that. I'm in the red using Wealthsimple because it takes OVER 20 minutes for your sale to go through! DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR SHORT TERM TRADING.

You have to wait more than one hour and no one answers your call. Super frustrating!

Used the service for tax filings 2023, ran into several problems with no explanations and no help. I upgraded and paid about $45.00 yet I am totally unable to reach a tax specialist on line after waiting for 45 minutes. They said tax specialists can only be reached via e-mail, yet when I sent about 5 e-mails with 5 different ticket numbers, the could not explain why I have two different total income figures between Federal and Provincial returns. They could not explain an added $20K+ income and several errors. Communicating with a representative who has no clue what's going on. I have lost confidence in their service and will never do any additional tax returns with them.

Contacted support twice for two different issues. I am pretty amazed of how bad the customer service is.

Support is bad, there are unable to fix any issues, when you asked for your money back they will held it forever

Don't trust your money with Weathsimple! Weathsimple has cost me thousands of dollars of my retirement. I've always been at a risk level or eight and would never agree to anything less than that! I spoke to them about checking into some things, because I know the market has turned around, and things are increasing in value, which I was very happy about only to find that I had filled out one of those stupid forms a few years ago and because of my answers, THEY changed my level eight to a level four which would be that of somebody wanting minimal risk and now I have missed what would have been some very good gains. I am absolutely infuriated with this company, crappy customer service, takes a week just to get a call back from somebody. Although the money is supposed to be managed in the background, they are clueless. Last year when I spoke to one of the guys there, he admitted, they had had lots of complaints.

Absolutely awful customer service, took 5hrs to get through (thank goodness for headsets) then promptly hung up 3 seconds into the call. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR CALL OPTIONS. WILL EXECUTE TRADES AT 0 DTE grab your cash and split saying it “was risky” STAY AWAY from WEALTHSIMPLE

Chaque fois On me met en attente presqu’une heure avec des messages uniquement en anglais puis soudainement ils raccrochent. Avec le courriel, quelqu’un a répondu après 8 jours mais rien n’a été réglé J’ai soumis un commentaire d’évaluation à leur département de service mais sans aucune réponse. J’ai dû me résigner à vendre chacun des titres et à fermer les comptes Dommage, leurs produits sont excellents et plus flexibles que ceux des banques ,

I can't even open an investing account. In fact after I submitted ID, it just locked my account for no reason, I am of age🤣 The ID check sucks, and there's a million ridiculous hoops to jump through. I get it, but the system doesn't even work properly so.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.... and on top of that I am trying to withdraw my funds and it's been over two weeks and still nothing...

This company is fraudulent and complete scam. Why government hasn't shut them down, who knows. Here's my experience with them. They reported that the investments made 7% but after looking at the monthly report, they took 5.5% of that 7% leaving me with 1.5% , less than 25% return on my money. Crypto was same, after looking at the monthly reports see they were taking 50% in fees from buying and staking. The "fine print" fees are insane and objective is to line their pockets not take care of your interest. Stay far away from this company.

If you can self-direct your finances, their service is very smooth. I have their invest, cash, and crypto accounts. I haven't had much interaction with their customer service since I usually refer to the articles on their website (which are very well-written and clear). Their app is also better than their desktop website.

They do not return your money. They are simply thieves.

Trying to contact someone is a NIGHTMARE. You get a hold of someone either through chat or email and it takes three plus days to hear back. Chat? Forget it. They say you'll be transferred to an appropriate agent and you will be waiting for hours and the person never comes through. I've been waiting three days for an email back about an email that was sent at the beginning of December regarding an FHSA and RESP withdrawal, and I still haven't heard back. RIDICULOUS

Not able to talk with an agent after 3x 40mins of waiting. They hung up on me 3 times in a row!! Very bad company do not touch this!!

I found Wealthsimple by recommendation, and I thought I found the perfect company for my purposes. I just want to buy some Bitcoin for my grandkids to have when they are older. At first, it was all working fine and perfect and when I was putting the money in Wealthsimple everything worked like a charm. Now, when I wanted to take my Bitcoin out of it to store in my wallet, everything suddenly stops working. 2FA stops working, then I get locked out of my account. I called them several times and every time they say they will fix it but they never do, and I cannot access my account. Is this done on purpose? Is Wealthsimple even a legitimate company? I am growing concerned for my money.
