Really nice app and company. Using it for 2 years and the support system is top notch.

I've had a nightmarish experience dealing with this company. They have frozen my funds and locked me out of my account. I'm unable to withdraw my funds and close my account. They are holding my money until I send them bank statements which I'm refusing to do since I don't send personal information like that to anyone. I can't reset my password and access my funds. They claim to be doing this to protect me but that's a lie. If you want to invest in a company that can deny you access to YOUR money by all means invest with them. They are crooks and I can't believe they can stay in business handling customers like this. Stay away from Wealthsimple if you value your hard earned money. They can lock you out if your account with the click of a button.

Please DO NOT put any money in with this company, DO NOT trade with them. They will literally hold your crypto and money for any reason at any time and not give it back. Absolutely awful company. The service is horrible. Read the contract you sign before signing it. I suspect they hold onto crypto and money so they can trade with it longer OR they might not be as liquid as they seem which is super dangerous for a financial institution (i.e. maybe they don't have the funds to return them). Save yourself headache and a potential lawsuit to get your money back. Go with someone else - anyone else.

Keep your money clear of this company. They liquidated my funds when transferring in my rrsp, even though i explicitly told them not to. I was out a few $1000 on that. They then withheld the M2 apple promo offer even though i had clearly met the terms and conditions. A big waste of money and terrible waste of time spending hours getting no where with "support". Save your money and time and go elsewhere!]]

I sold my moonpay cash 220 usd and sent it to wealthsimple , I didn't realise udst is the base coin moonshot uses and sent it to solana address , if this was crypto.com I'd be able to get the funds reversed but because wealthsimple doesn't support it my funds are sadly lost forever and weathsimple can do nothing even though it was sent to address they own , either way that sums it up use crypto.com or another platform before wealthsimple , much love guys good luck in your investing and thanks for the read .

Terrible experience with Wealth Simple. Many thousands of dollars went missing from my account the other day. Wealth Simple some how took it and invested it in my RRSP. I did NOT authorize this payment and they claimed it was a glitch and that their software engineering team was working to solve the problem. Fast forward 2 days later and my money has not been returned to my cash account and Wealth Simple is refusing to take responsibility should automatic bill payments bounce back. I don't think they understand the problems they sometimes cause for their clientele. This is completely absurd! If they can't keep our money safe and to make sure we can access it 24/7 then they should shut down. Now we have to look for a new bank.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Wealthsimple. After depositing and waiting for my investment yield interest, they stopped responding, and I couldn’t withdraw any money. my friend recommended an agency that specializes in such cases. Froze assets and canceled account. Didn't even give me an opportunity to liquidate it myself. The "No Commission" is only if you never do a trade. If you watch the markets and trade often, they will freeze your account. I was doing nothing illegal and did not violate any terms or conditions. They just didn't like the fact I traded often - and instead of asking me to liquidate, they froze everything and started a "process" that is painful. I'm still waiting to liquidate my position - I could have done it in 3 minutes while they watched - but instead - I have to wait for their "process" while I watch my wealth disappear. No warning. Don't use Wealthsimple if you ever want to have access to your money. I'm still waiting for my "liquidation" that I could have done myself in a few clicks.

Very poor unprofessional company. Your money is not safe here. I was using them for over a year and loving it. Used the cash account and moved funds around and was planning to take the next step and move some more investments there. Then, a bill I had scheduled to pay - which I scheduled a day earlier than due - did not get paid when scheduled. They said it was a ‘system glitch’. What? Clearly you can’t trust this company, which is not a bank, make no mistake, with any of your money. Their ‘solution’ to this issue after 2 hours of emails and phone calls, was only to reimburse the interest charged on my credit card for their mistake. My credit rating took a hit and I’m applying for a mortgage renewal. Not sure what I expected but they screwed up and don’t care. Didn’t even offer up token apologies like a free investing account or anything. Not sure that would have realized my trust but it would help me think they care. I’m glad I found out without it being an even more costly mistake. In finance, trust is everything and they ain’t it.

Locked my account without giving me notice. I was at a dealership unable to pay for my car repairs, leaving me with no car and no money in a different city at night, unable to get home in winter at -10 outside. I asked them what I could do to protect myself from this kind of situation in the future and they gave me a boilerplate email reply that did not answer my question or address my concern. I asked again, they didn't even read my email, they just sent the same boilerplate reply. They do not care about their customers and their application is not designed well. Do not trust your money with this company.

Your crypto fees suck

Wealthsimple online representative are scamming. Please don't share any of your account information with them otherwise they will eat your all money. Very Bad experience. If I could have option to rate zero 0 to Wealthsimple I will say zero... please withdraw your money immediately from Wealthsimple otherwise they will stole your all assets.

Wealthsimple uses the promotion to lure you in and I guarantee you it will screw up your accounts. Even if you transfer them in USD they will convert the money to CAD with their crappy exchange rate and you will be in the hole some hundred or thousand $$$. And good luck solving the issue with their useless customer service department with a shocking lack of professionalism. Every problem is 'escalated' to a team lead who promises to call back in 1-3 business days, yet no one ever follows through. STAY AWAY...

Seems off watch your deposits and total deposits i have noticed alot of skimming every deposit or missed accounting. Everytime i deposit they have a 100k goal and i follow that when I deposit yet the accounting is not right i like even numbers and when I deposit i do 1k, 2k or something like that with even numbers. An example was it had it uneven with 310 missing from the next thousand so i deposit 310, next day says im 159 off same target goal yet im like how is that possible. Yet when I see total deposits it will be off like 10$ here 10$ there like someone took a fee that's hidden in the numbers they most definitely cook the books. Keep an eye on your deposits and watch them closely they think they smart these people. They hold dividens for days acting like they don't know. They do alot of things acting like it's there money. Do not trust then keep on that accounting or they will move that decimal on you and or other account schemes.

Customers service are the worst customers service in bank .they are arge with me about my name and are very stupid and can't handle anything and give you heard time and as usual take on what you said then translation to their purpose for their befits including without limits to close your account and refused to carry countable for their responsibility for their actions .I advise stronger stay away from this bank .

My story. I have been using Wealthsimple for a few years now but on Friday there were fraud charges on my account. I called Wealthsimple and they really didn't seem to care so I lost my money to scammers and they do nothing. I am so pissed over this I don't know what to do. I just want my money back or I am done with Wealthsimple.

Beware Guys, They froze my account and would not let me withdraw my money. They ignored me. I threatened to sue them. Then they EFT my money back to my bank. As the reviews attest, this happens often...

I got scammed and lost 150000 because of wealthsimple. , don't use them if you do not want to loose your funds. I managed to get my money back w!th the assist of agency my mom used when she got scammed on a loan platform . Le service à la clientèle est terrible. Aucun moyen de parler à quelqu'un en français. Il y a une liste d'attente incroyable pour parler à quelqu'un. Ne retourne pas les appels selon les délais prévus. Pas moyen de recevoir une réponse par courriel avec un délai raisonnable. J'ai laissé une plainte, ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai des problèmes avec eux. C'est dommage parce que leur application et leur interface est très bien, mais c'est le service qui fait défaut.

It's been several weeks now and the list of last minute hurdles to release my coins purchased through Wealth Simple continues. I was due to have my account made unrestricted but last second they decided more assessment was required and now I have been locked right out of the site. Getting people on the phone is fairly quick but none of them have good answers as to what is going on. I see more days of endless calls and being putting hold in my future. Stay away from this goup they are not a sound operation
