The pilot (Ben), crew and experience was fantastic.

It was well organised, felt very safe. Good to be involved with preparation as well as packing away. The basket was quite tricky to get in if you had mobility issues (felt very sorry for one lady who we had to hoist and push in). This was our fifth attempt to fly and we had begun to lose hope but it was well worth the wait. The only slight disappointment was that our take off was changed from Ardleigh to Gosfield which meant we didn't recognise the scenery or fly over our friends' house.

Chris and the team flew us over Wisborough Green on a beautiful Monday evening. Watching the guys preparing and inflating the huge Virgin Hot Air Balloon was as entertaining as the flight itself. From London to Brighton and the Isle of White to Gatwick Airport as far as the eye could see, you felt as though you could touch the planes flying by ! Blissfully quiet until Chris fired up the burners, and then a warm glow, just like in front of a log fire. Flying has never been so magical. Thank you Chris and Virgin Balloon Flights for the most amazing evening ! Cheers ! The Prosecco went down well too ;-)

Tom, Sam & the crew were very friendly& knowledgeable about both the balloon & the local area. The flight itself was so peaceful with 360 views. The photographs & video package you could purchase at the end was surprisingly very reasonably priced. The champagne went down very well. Overall it was a fantastic experience!

Had an amazing flight across Bedfordshire today. Our launch site was Shuttleworth House which itself is picturesque. But the whole flight was lovely. We had perfect conditions. Our pilot was called Justin and he was brilliant. And handled one of the passengers passing out mid flight with total calm. We were a bit confused about the launch site but that’s only because we arrived before the balloon so thought we had the wrong place. Highly recommend a trip in a Virgin Hot Air Balloon 😊

Had birthday flight at third attempt, rebooking was easy on line Tiverton site is well located just off the motorway Day and flight was fantastic could not of asked for better weather, viability or pilot

The weather was perfect and the team was highly professional. They needed our help but it was good to get involved. Oxford was seen in all its beautiful glory.

The whole event was an experience from start to finish, from watching the balloon being set up, to the trip and then helping to fit it all back in the tiny bag. The assistants were very informative, entertaining and helpful.

We were extremely lucky to book onto a flight that went ahead on our first booking attempt, although we flew from a different launch site. Weather conditions are never guaranteed but we felt the team ensured that everything was safe for our flight. Our pilot Ben Raven was excellent and very skilled, explaining many aspects of how the balloon worked and how he judged the wind conditions and likely trajectory of the balloon. The best bit was the 'splash and dash' where the balloon basket dipped into the river briefly and lifted up again. But the take off, landing and amazing views were all fantastic. It was also fun to help inflate and deflate the balloon. Overall an excellent experience.

The experience was amazing but added to this was the whole crew on hand, both ground crew and Chris. Great sense of humour, lighthearted approach, made everyone feel at ease and so professional as well. An all round great experience.

if you have never been ballooning, then you are missing out.....a shame we cant travel by balloon like we can on planes!!!

Can’t recommend this experience enough. Nobby and team were really lovely, professional, informative and friendly. The balloon ride was smooth and even my husband who is scared of heights had the best time. Grateful for the experience and can’t wait to book the next one.

Such an amazing experience...So good to see The city I grew up in from above. Made some fantastic memories to treasure with my family. I was amazed at how calm and still the balloon flight was...Would definitely recommend this experience.
