We arrived 5 minutes before our timeslot staff were there to great us made us feel welcome as I have a disability and need to use a walking aid I was quite anxious about getting into the basket but after talking to the people in the office then to dDave our pilot he put me at ease and I got into the basket as it was laid on its side .the flight was beautiful , Dave pointed out different things of interest on our ride, he turned the balloon around so everyone got great views, the landing was a bit bumpy and the ground very uneven , but again I was looked after by the ground staff and sat in a vehicle whilst the balloon was being packed away

Really enjoyed my flight. The team were knowledgeable and friendly. Setting the balloon up and putting away too. There were 16 in the basket and working together and being part of the group was good. All topped of with a prosecco and certificate, cheers.

From the time off arrival to the end, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable, pilot a lovely person. I went on a balloon flight many years ago, my memory from that experience was more negative whereas this experience was perfect.

An exhilarating experience flying from Dunsfold to just south of Billingshurst. Very good organisation on the day with great insights provided by our pilot Chris Aindow and the ground team. Beautiful views and a great way to spend the early morning

The hot air balloon flight in the morning was an exceptional experience. The team demonstrated utmost professionalism and made the journey truly memorable. Pilot Chris, Ed, and Henry displayed remarkable expertise and attention to detail. Chris provided continuous updates on our location during the flight, while Ed and Henry ensured our safety and comfort on the ground. I am already considering booking another flight due to the exceptional experience. These individuals are valuable assets to Virgin, and their contributions were instrumental in creating a truly unforgettable adventure.

It was amazing, I wasn’t sure what to expect and hadn’t realised it involved set up and put away but this made it even more special. We were so well looked after by the crew and pilot. I would highly recommend it.

Allie was the most amazing and energetic pilot who organised us perfectly to get the balloon in the air. Once airborne, she was full of local knowledge of the area we flew over and also kept us informed of how the balloon works and the strategies used to move up and down into different air currents in order to control the direction a little. This was a fabulous, relaxing, and very special experience in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. I would definitely do it again. Thank you Allie X

Fantastic customer service! After originally misplacing my vouchers once, the Virgin customer service team kindly reinstated them for another year. I excitedly booked a flight, but sadly this had to be cancelled due to inclement weather (it happens!). Put the voucher safely away planning to rebook the following year. Came upon said voucher, stored safely in my kitchen clutter drawer (we all have one, don’t we) but found I’d passed the expiry date by just a few days! I was soooo disappointed. The voucher had been a gift from my partner and his daughters for my 60th birthday and I knew they’d be disappointed, too. I wrote to the customer service team to explain my predicament and Milie very very kindly came to my rescue and allowed me further extension period to rebook a flight! At no extra cost!! I am thrilled, and am now looking forward to my first ever balloon flight within the next few weeks! My dream to fly in the sky with the wind in my hair is coming true. At last! Thank you Virgin Customer Service Team Millie) you are amazing and have made this particular customer very very happy! Thank you! I recommend!

What a great experience…. This was a Christmas present and wow, it was worth the wait Capt Pete philpott was a great host up in the air and kept us informed all the way height speed etc and of course pointing out the landmarks, Nice smooth takeoff and just a little bunny hop on the landing. I would definitely recommend this experience and try and get on board with Pete

Great experience with our hot air balloon flight from Hickstead. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing from start to finish, we were very fortunate with a low level mist that made the scenery even more stunning. Our pilot was experienced and knowledgeable and made everyone feel at ease.
