Excellent customer service both via online and telephone.

Needed to amend a balloon flight ticket and contacted Virgin Customer Services subsequently answered by Lynn. Very swift and efficient service resolved the issue with ease. A pleasure.

18 months and 16 cancellations (although the customer service team conveniently hide 3 bookings as they 'don't appear on their system'). It is a scam, and a lucrative one. The pilot TH has cancelled more flights (I was sad enough to listen to many voice recordings across several sites, and Derbyshire is the most cancelled - I can share the data). After buying their "upgraded tickets" last year that promise a refund or credit note, they tell me they're the 'wrong type' despite being assured on the phone they were good. But conveniently, the customer service team put the onus on to their customers to 'prove it' with their copy/paste emails. When I read 'would of' (sic) in a patronising response, I finally gave up. And VBF will reply with "it's worth the wait", and "here are some tips". How about you invest in some decent technology and automation that is real time. That way it stops the customers (whom you rob blindly and put the onus on to rebook) having more heartache with hotels, time off, travel and so on. Don't bother putting any other on their Big Red Facebook page that isn't kowtowing and happyclappy, as it won't get posted.

After a number of cancellations due to poor weather I made my flight from a different lauch site to the one I had booked so that was disappointing. However, the flight was an exhilarating experience and I was very impressed with the pilot and ground crew who were very professional. If you don't mind heights (we flew to 2500 ft) then try this experience.

What an amazing experience.took a While to get booked due to the unpredictability of the British weather but well worth the wait ! Chris and the team were brilliant. Being a lone flyer I was nervous but as well as being extremely professional it was very relaxed and well organised and we also managed to have a laugh Such a stunning experience great memories

The pilot Pete was a lovely man ,very friendly,cheery and made my whole experience exceptional.. it took 5 attempts to actually get up in the air as each time was cancelled due to the weather.. but this was a absolutely perfect day. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to do something different and special. I have made some lovely memories with my Mom today that neither of us will ever forget. 😁

We did an early morning ride from Dunsfold. Weather was perfect and we had an awesome experience. The sights were beautiful, countryside all around, misty cloud patches with the London skyline further away. Great crew, very friendly, experienced and kept us entertained throughout. Well worth the effort of an early morning start. Highly recommend it.

Waited 4 years even paid for the opportunity of weekend bookings. Still nothing it would be great to know how many flights over Essex have been successful this year. I have rang Virgin and been told no refunds. Really fed up with this. Even todays booking cancelled due to weather conditions.

Our pilot Steve and his ground assistant Colin came across as very experienced and made us feel at ease at once. We enjoyed helping to set up and then collapse the balloon. You need to be quite agile to get in and out of the basket. Some people found it quite tricky, although with help everyone did manage it. It was a fabulous sunny day and we had a lovely smooth flight with fantastic views across Dorset. Our only disappointment was that our flight was originally booked to take off from Glastonbury which is very local to us and we were looking forward to seeing many familiar landmarks.

From meeting on a slightly foggy morning ,to having our heads in the clouds ,it was a great experience. Great fun from laying out the balloon to seeing it inflated, to landing and helping to pack away. Really was worth the wait!

The whole experience was well organised and planned, we felt completely safe on our first flight and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Everything from booking to flying was so easy, had to rearrange and speaking to the office and flight being sorted was so smooth. The flight itself was fantastic and Steve and Colin where brilliant and made the flight so special.

The British weather meant we had to rebook a few times. Be patient. We had a wonderful trip in perfect conditions

Amazing experience recommend this adventure I know it does go by weather permitted but after waiting after three cancellations due to bad weather situation we finally done it and was worth the wait

Incredible experience! From the setting up to the flight to the taking everything down, it was an amazing experience loved by both myself, my husband and my 10 year old daughter. Couldn't have wished for a better pilot than Ally. The whole experience was both tranquil and exciting. Scenery was amazing and the evening was perfect for flying. Honestly couldn't have wished for more. One less item on my bucket list 🥰

Lynn in your customer services team has been extremely helpful and she has been able to extend my balloon voucher which expired in April 2024 and had been able to reserve a flight for me at a local site.

Was given to me and my wife as a wedding gift. 3 years, 9 cancellations, spending almost as much as the tickets booking and getting to the few available slots open, still no flight. Put the 10th down on our calender on the wrong day over a month out, which of course flew, and now we have nothing to show for it except PR copy-pastes. Please don't put your loved ones through this misery.

It took us five attempts to get up into the air, and when we were up there, it was totally worth the wait! The pilot was amazing, the views were stunning, I’d recommend this experience to anyone! And amazing experience from start to finish!
