Great customer service, I went to rebook a flight that was cancelled due to bad weather, but when I went on my account I found my ticket's had expired by three day's. I contacted customer service to see if they could help and they promptly reinstated my ticket's so I could rebook my flights. Thanks Virgin Customer Service. You're the best :-)

My wife had booked a Virgin balloon experience for me for my 50th. We had been on helicopters, flights, paragliding, cruises etc but this was out first time in a hot air balloon. The pilot Russell was such a friendly gentleman and made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. The whole experience was enjoyable from the ground to the flight and to the landing. The views, the comfort, the novelty of a hot air balloon flight is one that is unique and one we will never ever forget. We definitely recommend this to everyone and can't wait to go again!

7 years later, lots of cancelled flight and never any availability. You have to check every week and it takes a lot of effort to actually get a flight. In the end, we gave up. You will never get a refund either. A massive regret.
I couldnt make the date i had originally planned and Louise from customer services sorted the problem immediately for me and extended the date of my voucher.
Virgin Balloons were amazing to deal with, their customer service is second to none! I had an issue with my tickets and they helped me and resolved it swiftly and easily. I'm so grateful as other companies wouldn't have gone the extra mile as they have to sort it for me. Sadly we haven't actually gone on the balloon ride yet and I doubt we ever will. I am amazed that they are so highly reviewed - much higher than on other websites where it seems my experience is the same as pretty much everyone else. The flight was bought as a gift for me by my husband 3 years ago. We have booked quite a few rides since then however all of them have been cancelled. You have to wait until the day of the ride (or, I believe, evening before depending on the flight time) to phone up and be told if it is 'on' or not. It doesn't matter if you've planned your entire day around it; it's all been wasted. You then get an additional 6 months added on to book another flight. I really wish we could just get a refund or just do something different instead. It is very hard, having seen all the other reviews elsewhere, not to just conclude that it is all a bit of a money-earning scam for Virgin. Surely any right-thinking company would have a policy that if they can't deliver the experience within a set amount of time then you can swap it or get it refunded?
