Contacted Alex via email after viewing a demo and review of Flight Ukuleles. His response to my inquiry was very quick. He answered all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I then went on their website and purchased a Flight concert ukulele. It arrived within 5 days. I would recommend Southern Ukulele and Alex for all of your music needs.

I visited Southern ukulele store on the 5th March 2020 after corresponding with them via email several times so they could provide me with the options I wanted. The principal requirement was a left handed Ukulele. I had been looking for a while and also looked at 5 string KALA owned by a friend. The service in the shop was excellent from both Rob and Alex. Alex is also a left hander which was really good as he understood the issues of left handers. I was allowed to try several Snail ukuleles and several Kala'. After an hour and a half I eventually settled on an 8 string Kala. The Kaia was restrung for me while we waited and i was allowed to play a fabulous left hander owned by Alex which was beautiful but out of my price range at the moment!!! Please go there the Service and pricing are excellent

I bought this beautiful Ukulele from this store initially because they had the best price but when I looked closer at their site and their very helpful YouTube videos, I realised these guys really want you to get the right uke for you! They sent me photos of the two actual ukes they had in stock for me to choose.I am left handed and it was no problem for them to change strings over for me, and send it to be delivered on the day I wanted. I can highly recommend this store.

Another excellent experience dealing with everyone at SUS. I was so pleased to be contacted by Rob on the arrival of the silver series Koaloha ukuleles and delighted to be able to become the owner of my first Hawaiian built instrument and especially with number 17 of the limited edition concert ukulele. Whenever you have any questions or want some advice about anything ukulele related, these people are there for you and happy to give you as much time as needed to ensure you get what you need. A visit to the shop is like walking into Aladdins cave with walls full of delights. You will be enjoy every moment. Give yourself a treat and pop down to see them.

Bought a beautiful Kala tenor in curly mango which arrived very swiftly and perfectly set up (still in tune straight out of the box). I got the uke from Southern Ukuleles after a recommendation from a friend, and I'm glad I followed his advice. Superb instrument, great value for money and service second to none.

After Procrastinating on whether to buy a soprano or concert ukulele and then having to chose which make with the help and guidance from the nice guys at SUS I finally settled on a Kala concert travel ukulele. I can’t fault their patience and assistance (special thanks to Rob). The ukulele arrived exactly when scheduled with no problems. The intonation and set up is perfect. I bought an Anuenue Moonbird tenor ukelele from Southern Ukeles six months ago. I dealt with Alex, who was most helpful and knowledgeable. Delivery was arranged promptly to France where I live and arrived within a week of the order. A pickup was fitted expertly at my request. Alex also let me know that a second hand instrument was due to come in in case I wanted to buy it but I decided I wanted a new instrument. So I can unequivocally award 5 stars - I am also delighted with the instrument.

After a disappointing experience with another music shop I got in touch with SUS. 24 hours later I had a beautiful instrument at a very reasonable price. More than satisfied.

Placed my order for my new Uke over the phone and found Rob to be most helpful. I also requested a left hand conversion and strap button fitted. Was very impressed that the Uke was delivered early the next day and that the instrument was beautifully set up and a dream to play. Great service all round.

Love shopping with the team at SUS. They always have time for you, always give honest advice even if it means you choosing not to buy and provide fast and efficient service. Their knowledge and interest in the instrument is high and they're generally a nice bunch. I've bought new and used instruments from them, traded in a few of my own and bought plenty of strings, etc., as well. Never had a bad experience.

Bought my Koaloha Opio after watching SUS video reviews as I live a long way from any ukulele shop. Possibly a gamble but it paid off ! Delivery was super fast. The ukulele is gorgeous, sounds beautiful and is set up just right for me. Great service and ukulele, thank you!

Ordered a Kala KA-STG Tenor ukulele from their website just after Christmas, late on Thursday afternoon. Was informed mid Friday afternoon that it had been collected by DPD & was due for delivery the following Monday. It actually arrived Saturday morning! Great service by Southern Ukulele Store & DPD. The build quality is impressive for the price & the Uke was nicely set up & playable straight out of the box, unlike some guitars I have purchased in the past which were much more expensive than the Kala. Very happy with my purchase & will shop here again. Alan

Can't find a Kaline’a dealer ukulele in France ; so I went to our European neighbours and it was in the United Kingdom, at Southernukulelestore, that I found my instrument.
