I bought a Freshman (Great UK brand) tenor from the shop, solid wood; with spruce top, sides and back maple. Still in fase of tuning, but remarkable instrument, lots of value for money. Wide choice of remarkable instruments is a great plus for the store. I live near Porto and while shipping under Cover-19 became more and more complicated Bob and his team managed to get me the ukulele within 14 days. Very pleased with our communications, as if we know each other already many years as good business friends. Like many others my wife and I like to have more than one ukulele, not only gear addiction (oops) but (as we try to tell ourselves) also different functionalities....I'll be back to the store, we still need advise for a second concerto or tenor and a banjolele. Bought my first uke from SUS rather than a generic music store. Restrung it to a lefty for free on the day of order, shipped it the same day, and it arrived the next day. Emails and phone calls answered very quickly, with helpful advice and a dash of humour. Can’t fault the service I received.

I had Southern Ukelele Store recommended to me by a friend who is a professional Ukelele player (thanks Alison ). I'm a (rubbish) guitarist but my little girl has a Ukelele and is unable to attend her lessons at the moment due to lockdown. So, having tried to teach her on her Ukelele, I decided it was time I had one of my own (that was actually big enough to play!) Rob, Guns and the team could not have been more helpful. Excellent experience with the guys at Southern Ukule Store. Bought a ukulele on line and received an email telling me what day it would arrive and it did. Good comms and fast delivery. The ukulele was well packaged and well set up. I went to this store having watched some of the Youtube videos they made and it was clear they really care about what they're doing and they had a great range to choose from. If you're looking to buy a ukulele I recommend you give them a try.

I thought I would try and get a Ukulele during ‘lock down’ (Coronavirus), so that I could learn something new. After looking at various Websites, I found Southernukulelestore to be most informative. I watched the Videos about various Ukuleles and made my choice. I am 100% happy with the Ukulele. The delivery was good too considering these Coronavirus times, and my items were well packed. I also ordered with it, a tuner, strap and button (to be fixed). I wasn’t sure if the button would be fixed but it was. Overall I am delighted with my purchase and already enjoying strumming to some easy songs.

I had a problem with trying to get my new uke to talk to the new amp. Despite being very busy themselves During this Covid 19 virus outbreak they spent time over the phone to, eventually, get it all sorted out. There is no doubt that my decision to purchase this equipment from SUS has paid off immeasurably. I would recommend SUS unreservedly.

I have bought 2 ukuleles from SUS and got great advice both times. I'm a lefty and it's not easy finding ukuleles designed/properly set up for us. My first uke was a starter and the one they recommended sounded really good for the price, much better that similar ukes I saw in other shops. Most recently I explained what I was looking for, and their staff actually advised me to go for a different model, and I could not be happier - their advice was spot-on. The uke arrived well-packed and super quick, and I'm in LOVE with it!

I bought a second hand ukulele by phone from SUS, it arrived quickly, in perfect condition and the set up was second to none. The two members of the team that dealt with my order and request for strap buttons to be fitted, could not have been more helpful or informative. I don’t believe that I would have had better service if I’d bought a £1200 Kanile’a rather than the modest £100 ukulele that I purchased. I would not hesitate to recommend this store without reservation to anyone looking to buy a ukulele, and will certainly shop there again in the future. I wish that I could award them more than five stars, they certainly deserve it!

Yesterday I received my ukulele after ordering it last week. Why did it take a week to get here? Well because Rob started by inquiring about the set up I would like. Afterwards I got a detailed description of the work that he had done. Then he gave me the choice of when to send the instrument because he advised not to send it so close to the weekend just to minimize any risk of damage. Every mail I sent was answered quickly. So only good words for Southern Ukulele Store. The instrument itself was far more beautiful than the pictures on the website showed, but that is no complaint. The true beauty of some woods is hard to capture in a still. I, for one hope that Rob and his team will keep up the great work they are doing.
