Second time I’ve bought from Southern uke’s, first time I visited the shop this time, bought over the phone, service levels the same..excellent, friendly , polite, and super efficient. New ukulele arrived next day wrapped and packed to within an inch of its life! Great people and great products.

I have been looking at different ukes for awhile and always use Alex and the Team's videos for inspiration and guidance. I had narrowed down my choice but just wanted some reassurance, so arranged a Zoom session with Phil, who kindly took me through some alternatives and along with his honest opinions settled on the Flight Spirit Concert. Beautiful - arrived within a couple of days as promised. This is the way to do business in these uncertain times (well any times to be honest). Great job Phil and Team

I rang SUS after watching (lots of) their highly informative video reviews on YouTube. I spoke to Alex, who could not have been more helpful; he helped me through my decision-making process, and answered questions I had about individual ukes and their suitability for my requirements and level. I ended up buying an Islander Super Tenor, not the most expensive of my shortlist, and couldn't be more happy with it, so I feel I was very well advised. Having ordered in the morning, the uke arrived the very next day, very well protected: all ends up I can't fault any aspect of the experience. Highly recommended; if only all remote shopping were as good as this!

Just received my Snail S20 T. Alex´s videos were a big help in choosing what I wanted, this uke sounds and looks as beautiful as described. My first e-mail inquiry was answered immediately: I got pictures of the stock currently available, questions answered with expertise and could reserve the one I wanted by phone. The careful packaging, delivery as promised rounded off a perfect shopping experience. These guys not only know and love their ukes, but make buying one a pleasure. 5 stars + from a happy Austrian customer!

I recently purchased a beautiful Flight Phantom electro-acoustic tenor ukulele from Southern Ukulele. I had numerous queries prior to purchase, which were answered very promptly in a knowledgable and friendly way. I also asked some related questions regarding ukuleles, which they were also very happy to answer. There was no pressure to purchase, but I was happy to do so because of the aforementioned! They’ve also told me that I can contact them anytime in the future, should I require any ongoing further advice. Just received a Kai KTI-700 I bought at SUS. Alex answered quickly to my questions. Packing was excellent, and delivery time one day shorter than first announced... Fore those looking for an excellent uke at very correct price, I suggest to look for Kai KTI-700. Is has an amazing quality for the money ratio. When I buy another uke, I know it will be with SUS, 'cause everything went perfectly fine, from my first questions to the delivery.

I wanted to buy a Snail brand soprano ukulele but I needed a couple of things extra - a strap button and a low G string. After speaking to Alex, he put my mind completely at rest and said those things would be no problem. He estimated delivery would be on Friday 11 September, but Southern Ukulele Store excelled themselves and got it to me a day early. It was very securely packed as well. I was very impressed with their service and attention to detail. Thanks guys!

Brilliant website with lots of helpful and informative videos which enabled me to choose and buy a baritone ukulele from SUS. It arrived the next day, securely packaged and I’m delighted with the sound and quality of the instrument. Excellent service - I won’t hesitate to seek their advice and buy from them again.

I have just had a very good experience with Rob and Alex getting my Moonbird to me. Somehow the uke got hung up in customs on its way to Mukilteo, Wa. Rob worked with them, Alex jumped in and now I have it. The Moon Bird was the Southerukulelestore's top tenor for 2019. I am enjoying playing it and everything that Alex has said about it is right on. Thanks to Rob and Alex for getting this taken care of. Good communication on their part.

A few years ago I was lucky enough to holiday on big island Hawaii....in a music store I was handed a Kamaka..,,’perfect’ was my response..can you believe it was even my birthday....but still I did no time purchase.Well I’ve made up for it now....and wow...it’s the second time...,the first being 35 years ago when I bought an American Stratocaster when I realised I had the right instrument for me.This Kamaka Tenor rested against my chest like a puppy or a baby...for me it’s perfect.And ...I didn’t notice on the website.. has matching wood tuning pegs..,jeez it’s like yer dads Morris Minor..,leather seats.,walnut dashboard..maybe even a cigar smoked in the car...sorry you young uns!, Thank god for the SUS....light in the darkness for us ukulele fans,,,,delivered speedily... what can I say...for me the instrument of a lifetime..,you may suit something different....but you know where to go!!

As a lefty I find it difficult to get the service I require. Not at SUS they recommend a ukulele (Kala KA-SA-T) out of a number of candidates, they also restrung it at no extra cost ( it sounds amazing) thanks again to Alex and his team.

As one who isn’t able to visit music shops to choose an instrument i rely heavily on the honesty and advice of sales guys And I have found The best are at Southern Ukulele Store I have bought several items over The past couple of years and they have always been very helpful, patient and honest in their advice and i have never been disappointed whether it has been a New instrument or an accessory. Plus they make informative videos on YouTube which assist with choosing. I will go back to them time and again Definitely Recommended

Just purchased a high end ukulele from SUS and the service I received was first class. The ukulele was reduced in price due to a tiny scratch which Alex from the shop rang to tell me about and offered a postage paid refund if I was not happy. It arrived bright and early 2 days later and they had also thrown in a free T shirt. Highly recommended. Mick

Living in Spain and with no chance of getting anywhere near a specialist ukulele shop made it really difficult to choose what to buy. Spoke to the guys at SUS by email for some advice, then by Zoom video call. They were really accommodating and helpful and didn't hurry me at all. Uke arrived with perfect set up and was just what I needed. Really glad that I bought from them.

I bought a Kai 5000 Concert Uke over the phone after a lengthy discussion with Rob. He couldn't have taken more care to get at what it was I wanted/needed. He had several in stock and we settled on an example which looked nice but had superior tone - and this is exactly what arrived on my front doorstep two days later. It both looks and plays beautifully and is far better than one I bought locally for exactly the same price. Couldn't be happier!

If you're into ukuleles, this is the place to go. All the guys running the store are hugely knowledgeable, extremely helpful and will give you their honest opinion of what they think will be best for you with a huge range of ukes and accessories to choose from. They have plenty of Covid precautions in place at the moment with an appointment system so you can feel reassured if you want to visit.
