My new Ukulele arrived exactly when they said it would, virtually next day. It was everything Alex said it would be and better. I found the Southern Uke Store through their informative YouTube vids and ended up emailing them for advice on a few ukuleles I was looking at. Both Rob & Alex were super helpful and informative and thanks to their advice (and patience!) I was confident in my choices and now the two I chose have arrived I'm over the moon with them - they are perfect for what I needed. When I had an issue (my own fault), they were patient and kind in dealing with it. Can't rate them highly enough! :)

I received my ukulele two days after ordering it online, including a strap button to be fitted. It arrived very well packaged, and a day earlier than planned - thanks DPD. Communication throughout was excellent, especially having a time slot for delivery. The ukulele is as good as their online reviews demonstrate, which was also a factor in my purchase. Fantastic Acoustic guitar, new for this year, a 21 inch scale, beautifully crafted Steel six string. E-e, Romero Creations have created a real Bute here, that ticks all the box’s of build, sound, setup, and simple Classy appointments. Even the gig bag, with neck rest, is perfect for me. My new Lanikai OA-EBU Figured Bocote Bass was sent out to me both on time and extremely securely packaged. I'm absolutely blown away by the quality of this Bass. I would expect to pay twice as much for such a well-made instrument. The Bass sounds just as good unplugged as it does plugged into an amp. It's true what they say, it's hard to put the thing down once you’ve picked it up. Throughout the purchase, Southern Ukelele Store kept me up to date. It's so nice to get such customer service from a great team of people. Well done Southern Ukelele Store.

Working with SUS was a pleasure. Their customer service is great. My uke was set up nicely by Rob. Their shipping to the USA was very fast. Left their shop on Tuesday and was at my door on Thursday. Would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

Wanted to upgrade from my starter ukulele to something bigger and higher quality. Emailed SUS for advice and they responded quickly with plenty of really friendly, helpful insight on models, strings, value for money etc. Was recommended a Kai Tenor Ukulele, so I ordered it on Sunday afternoon and received my order on Tuesday afternoon (and it had to get from Bournemouth to Scotland!) Ukelele was set up beautifully and in top notch condition (It was *thoroughly* packaged. Obviously this was a really good thing- I would have been so disappointed if it had been damaged in transit- but I had to laugh at how many layers of paper, cardboard, bubble wrap and packing tape I had to get through to unbox this thing!) Ukulele sounds and looks fantastic and I'm having a lot of fun playing it! Overall, a really good experience. I normally would prefer to try a musical instrument in-person before buying it, but there's not a lot of uke selection at my local music shops, and it's impossible to do during the current lockdown anyway. I'll definitely shop online at SUS again and if I ever get down to the south of England you can bet I'll be visiting the shop in-person.

Went on the website at 10.am on a friday. Ordered my ukulele but messed up the payment method, too fast to hit the order button. Phoned the shop. Very helpful on the phone, sorted out the order and added a strap button to the order. Ukulele arrived at my house before 24 hours had elapsed. Excellent service. Very Happy. Highly recommended.

This Millar is my third ukulele from SUS. It is stunning. Delivery packaging was great, delivery itself was fast and the ukulele played fantastically straight out of the box. I cannot speak highly enough about SUS. Each ukulele and string order that I have made with them has received the exact same high quality, friendly service from Rob and Alex.

This is the same review I have left on google reviews. Well man o' man how can you believe that a handful of previous customers out of over 200 to place reviews have had such bad service, they certainly don't live on the same planet as two hundred 'five stars', myself and the Super Heroes working at SUS. It is really incredulous to believe that they have been bona-fide customers of a most fabulous world wide and highly respected purveyor of some of the most exquisitely built instruments from the dying art of true, true craftsmanship. So respected by the major Ukulele constructors they have been instrumental (pun intentional!) in bespoke custom designing of new innovative designs. The SUS group must be so proud to have conquered the 'Ukieworld' the way they have done. I have made five perfect purchases orchestrated and delivered by the only SIX star company I know of. Truly a 'David' in the face of 'Goliaths' and mealy mouthed detractors.

This company is amazing, the people are exceptional, Rob has just supplied me with a fantastic Ukulele, he couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, the ukulele turned up exactly when he said it would and it was set-up to perfection, customer for life!

Ordered a ukulele on Monday, delivered on Wednesday with a strap button fitted. Expertly packed and arrived in perfect condition. Two minute tune up and it sounds brilliant with perfect intonation all the way up the neck. Second purchase from SUS and very impressive service.

Despite the current COVID problems Southern Ukulele Store had my ukulele with me within 3 days of ordering. No complaints. Well packed and a good price. This shop is well known and respected among ukulele players. Their service is second to none and they post some very interesting and informative videos on YouTube. Had the pleasure of meeting them at the Cheltenham Ukulele Festival a few years back. Thoroughly recommended. One of a very small number of genuine ukulele sellers in the UK.

Bought a tenor ukulele from them June 2020, I normally play a baritone, ended up I played the tenor 4/5 time didn't appeal, so eventually I rang and spoke to them, they offered to part-exchange it and with their advice now I have superb baritone set up really well.
