Worst customer service and support communication I have ever experienced in 55 years of doing business. Literally spent days trying to cancel an account. Their CustomerSupport portal is a complete and total waste of time and a technology failure. I will never go back or recommend them.
Customer service is horrible, each month a new charge appears, receiving calls is always a problem.
Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. I have been trying to get TCR registration approved for months and every time I do what they ask, they have new issues. I get on the phone with their support and they tell me in a monotone voice that it's this or that and do it like this and resubmit. Then gets denied. I do what they ask again, then gets denied. I have been denied at least 8 times now and it is starting to feel like they purposely don't want people to use their service. With currently 58% of their reviews on Trust Pilot being 1 star, I wish I would have looked into them further since the reviews they post on their website are obviously hand picked to deceive people by skewing the perception of how they are really viewed by the majority of their customers and users. Again, horrible customer support and now I'm off to try to get their TCR registration approved by reading through ALL the help documentation on it again. I'm sure it will be denied again for some other reason that they didn't mention or said is different suddenly based on whatever CSR gets the role to review it. I am quickly losing hope that this will ever be done as I have spent over 10 hours of my time trying to get this approved so far. I DO NOT RECOMMEND RING CENTRAL to even an enemy. And now they reply with their nonsense and ask for verification that it's a real person leaving a review when I wrote this review yesterday after resubmitting again just to get this today. They never tell you exactly what the issue is. They could easily say, "Change {THIS}, {HERE}" to be compliant, but instead they always send cryptic nonsense, and I have made these changes so many times. All of these items are already in place, and they keep failing it and come back with different reasons every time.
Call quality is poor. There is a delay when trying to speak to someone.
Set up is good, hard to get assistance after initial set up
My name is Tom C. I own a solo personal injury law firm. I have been paying Ring Central for 6 months now and I have yet to receive approval for TCR registration. Never in my life have I seen a company run this poorly. And, at this point, I just feel like I am being scammed.
This is one of the most unethical companies I have ever dealt with. They will sell you anything, but they will never ever let you downgrade or leave. If you try to leave, they tell you they will send you a cancellation or downgrade contract, but then they never respond. I've been trying to downgrade my contract for a month now to meet their deadline of making changes 30 days prior to contract renewal. I have reached out 5 times to their service department and 2 times to my "dedicated" sales rep. I finally called in and spent an hour on the phone with someone who said they would send me the paperwork to make changes that day. It is 5 days later and they haven't sent it, nor have the replied to multiple emails. I'm about ready to cxl my entire account with them, but I guess I won't be able to do that because they won't let me! I've never experienced anything like this in my life. Stay away from this company. I have wasted so many precious hours trying to get questions answered or changes to my account. Never again!
If there was an option of negative stars, I would have given them that based on their messy TCR registration process. They will reject your application with no apparent reason and then you will have to call technical support and get with them for 1 and a half hour call to discuss the application and once you make sure application is according to the requirements, you finish the application. And guess what, again refusal. This is very frustrating.
Worst customer service ever you have the most unprofessional people working for you nobody knows what they're doing over there and no one can really help worst company to work with

Expensive for what it is. And when you try to cancel, you have to wait on hold for an hour. They literally will not let you click a button to cancel inside of your account. They force you to call and they don't answer the phone. This gets a one star for any company who makes their clients jump through like this. Other than that, the phone service was was OK but severely overpriced. There's no need to pay the prices that these guys want to charge for online phone service.
We called on Friday, Jan 10th in afternoon to have help with our phone tree and the tech who helped was great. Best experience in last 4 years with Ring Central.
While I do like how it integrates with my CRM/ATS PC Recruiter, the autodialer feature is cost prohibitive, so I'm going to purchase from another company. Also, It's not always great at connecting calls. I'll get a fast busy or no ring and then straight to voicemail with ring central and when I call with my mobile phone (verizon) it connects easily.
Reporting is abysmal. Call log information is too difficult to read - no easy answer to things like, did someone answer it or did it go to voicemail (what does "accepted" mean? it doesn't mean answered).
Not worth it, will continue subscription after cancellation and refund.
The phones themselves are super cheap and the service goes bad often leaving voices garbled or robotic and impossible to hear . Need to constantly unplug and reboot and sadly you don’t know when till you can’t hear the costumer on the other line.
RingCentral is easy to use and they have great customer service. I will recommend RingCentral for every small business or large businesses looking for easy to use phone system and affordable too.
We activated our account on 13 Dec and since then I have been unable to reach our contact to complete the setup and correct some errors.
