I sign up for services, specially text, the account was never set up, they collect your funds up front, then dont provide the services, there is no one trained to answer your concerns, they dont even respond to emails either, worst company i have ever deal with it!
We love the versatility of communications among various devices (desk ph; ipad; computer; cell ph.) And that R/C can be on the go. If I'm not mistaken, when making R/C calls on your cell, it does not count against your cell usage
Horrible experience! They waste your time is what I can comment the most. The system is sloppy and confusing. When I canceled they put me on hold and then a month later I still go billed. But I'll never get that time back
worst customer service, no one in their uk office, no one picks up, no one replies to emails, and then when you call their American branch, and tell them, instead of helping or fixing it, they hung up on you, terrible service, I would avoid them at all cost
Ring Central is an overpriced disreputable company that affiliates with other disreputable companies. We were lulled into signing a 3 year contract with them with the representation that the cost would be less than our current VoIP carrier, instead we are paying double what we used to pay for the same service. Ring Central has refused to cancel the contract, even though the company that misrepresented the saving cancelled its part of the contract. We will get rid of them as soon as possible, and return to our previous VoIP carrier: Hover Networks. Stay away from Ring Central, they are a rip off.
I am having a hard time setting up my texting and have not had NO help when I call customer service they always tell me to fill it out on line instead of walking me thru and providing help as to what is being asked this has been an an ongoing issue for over 1 year now and if I didn't need the number I would have canceled this service already !
As a new small business we were trying to be proactive and anticipate needing a call service of sorts. We got involved with RingCentral and out of the gate it was a headache. They got the numbers wrong for the main number then my extension and my partners extension. It took them quite awhile to fix that. Now my partners personal number is associated with our business which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. Then we reached a point of needing to text with our clients for ease of communication. Ring Central kept denying our request. The reason was because we were Affiliate Marketing. I repeatedly told them we were not yet they didn't want to listen. Very happy to take our money. If you are looking for just calls they are ok. If you need more then be warned you will not get the experience you are looking for.
I love that when I can’t get to my phone, I can see my emails!
Total mess, support is lacking and does not know what they are doing. Poor setup and poor product
The phone doesn’t always ring. When it does ring, if we miss a call, it doesn’t always show up on the missed call log or it shows up as our primary number, or it shows up 30-60 minutes later.
The system, app and customer service is amazing, Ive been using it for almost 7 years. The customer service reps are very knowledgeable and responsive.
SMS campaign keeps getting rejected on the grounds that our explanation of how we get approval to message our clients isn't good enough. What is so hard to understand that our clients message us and we reply back? RingCentral support is useless and nobody seems to care enough to even look into the issue.
There is no speed dial option. Every other phone system I have used for the past 40 years has speed dial. your system does not, it makes NO sense!!!
the phone quality is great however I can't get accurate reports on the number of calls received or missed. I have had several calls with ringcentral personal and have not gotten the issued resolved

Customer support is lacking poor communication and language barrier. Support tends not to read the issues in full detail and I have to repeat myself or reprase. I still have an issue open since 4/4 and no one has reached out.
I use the basic plan and one day wanted to do a trip for the plan that’s after the basic. It went fine but I wanted to switch back to the basic plan. Every time I called customer service to do it they won’t let me switch my plan and when I try to do it online it just keeps loading. No one will let me speak to my account manager either. Will be switching soon.
Compared to the previous service provider, Ring Central offers a more reliable service. The breadth of option will also be useful as our contact center continues to grow.
Horror system
