I had been trying to contact the suport team through email in the month of January as I was our of the country and my staff reported an issue with the card terminal not working. Protracted response times with no solutions being offered left me to make contact only after returning to the UK. Spencer was quick to solve my issue and would highly recommend the Live Help.

Just wanted to drop a quick warning about my nightmare experience with Retail Merchant Services (RMS). Seriously, if you're thinking about signing up with them, you might want to read this first. So, here's the deal: I got totally duped into signing a 4-year contract with these guys. The catch? I had no idea it was for 4 years! They hid that little "detail" so well in the contract, you'd need a magnifying glass to dig through and find it which they've labelled as membership term. And the sales guy? Not a peep from him about it being that long. Then, when I just wanted to change my bank and name details (you'd think that's simple, right?), they somehow twisted my arm into signing ANOTHER 4-year contract. Like, why? Should've been a red flag, but silly me, I missed it. Oh, and let's talk about the cancellation fee. A jaw-dropping £2,500! Guess where that was mentioned? Nowhere that I could see until it was too late. Plus, the monthly fees from RMS and Elavon were through the roof. They promised me one thing, and then - boom - the reality was totally different. Ended up being a complete rip-off. Customer service? A joke. Trying to get any help was like talking to a brick wall. And that commission-based sales guy who got me into this mess? Turns out he's a pro at bending the truth. Said he told me everything (yeah, right 🙄) I would not have even signed up if he had told me 4 years or even the real monthly charges. I've stopped using their service because it was bleeding me dry, but guess what? The charges keep coming and they won't end the contract I've been lied into. So, I'm at my limit - I'm filing a complaint and seriously thinking about taking these guys to court as it turns out they've been doing this for a long time. Just wanted to give you all a heads up. Don't fall for their sweet talk and make sure you read every single line of any contract you sign. Don't end up like me.

First time using the on-line chat facility - found it very easy to use and response was very quick (unlike previous hours on hold listening to that awful music...) Spencer was able to guide me through solution to problem within 5 minutes - brilliant !
Reece was extremely helpful and helped me instal my new machine. He was excellent However I cannot understand having been with you for years you allowed the software to become obsolete without informing me. I’ve had two weeks of asking customers to do balance transfers. Extraordinary. Thank goodness Reece was so helpful. I was very angry that I was left without the ability to put through credit cards.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Account confirmed closed June 2023, RMS have since continued to both apply for and successfully TAKE further payments. Hours spent on hold to their only contact number, and email upon email sent, with zero response from the company. Will be lodging a formal complaint - avoid at all costs. UPDATE - 29/02/2024 Having responded to the Merchant's request for further information, I am yet again waiting with absolutely no response from RMS. They appear to post a generic reply on Trustpilot reviews, requesting further information, to look as if they are taking action rather than making any attempt to resolve issues they have created. Terrible, terrible company.

Terrible. Left previous negative reviews, and was contacted offering to take reviews down for 3 months free rental. It is currently 8.25am and our card machine isn’t working (which is frequent), so I’ve tried to call RMS, and the voicemail says office is closed, and call back between 8am and 8pm… are you not open today or something? Do you not want me to be in business today? Typical RMS move! Thanks again for damaging my business rather than enhancing it.
