Terminal broke down on Saturday. Support only available Monday to Friday. Phoned Monday, promised a replacement terminal by Tuesday. Have just phoned up on Wednesday Lunchtime to ask where it is, told it will arrive Thursday. A busy shop unable to accept card payments from Saturday lunchtime until some time on Thursday (If it turns up tomorrow). We are sending nearly every customer to the nearest cash point to get cash. Some come back and some don't. I am loosing about half my business. Update just had a notification from DPD that they are"expecting the terminal" so is only being sent on Thursday when I was promised delivery on Tuesday! Update Saturday 30th March. Replacement terminal arrived today whole week after break down. Told it would be plug and play. Plugged in and connected to internet but did not work. Nothing in the instructions to help. Phoned helpline, no helpline on weekends. Found a Youtube video from another Merchants Services company that explained how to connect and reboot the terminal. Without this we would have been waiting until after the bank holiday ie 10 days without a working terminal.

Contracted with RMS since 2021, recently found out that a lot Fee went up and decided to leave the contract, however they told me that I have signed a 4years contract with them and the contract ended next year 2025, however when I go back to check the agreement term, it says nothing on the contract, what nonsense is that , can anyone here tell me what they are doing is legal or not. Thanks
Card machines do not work. Tied into contract that cannot get out of unless I pay£1,800. So have been paying £25 a month for 2 years for a card machine that I am not using. Will be free from this terrible company in 6 months. They are also in cahoots with elavon, being ripped off by them too.
Real Ease Professional Service Rob Atha explained the deal service, set up. Whole service completed and installed within the week. Back up service from him Fabulous came back to set up machine. Really happy to recommend.
I sent an email last night about a problem, received a call back next day. Everything was sorted very quickly by a lovely lass. She was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything clearly.

Initially I was discouraged by not being able to call RMS. They did not answer the phone at all. I tried the Online Chat option and sorted out my case within 10 minutes. I think this is the way to go :-). Good luck!
