A very poor experience that was nothing like we were lead to believe from their literature. The 'experience' was supposed to last approx 90 mins but the gentleman who hosted ours was in and out of the door in approx 45 minutes. The information provided about the wines was minimal and basic. We also never received our complimentary bottle of wine that was also advertised! Even a month after complaining to the company I am still waiting for a response.

On 27th July 2018 my elderly mother was visited by a salesman from Pieroth Ltd, a company that sell wine nationwide. My mother lives on her own and suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis, she currently is taking 8 different types of medication because of her health conditions. This medication alone means she is not allowed to drink any type of alcohol. My mother has not drunk wine since she was young, before her health deteriorated. The salesman gave my mother a wine tasting session before pursuading her into making an order for 12 bottles of wine. My mother does not keep lots of money in her house and was told to pay for the wine by debit card. In total my mother paid £278.20 for 12 bottles of wine. That makes each bottle of wine over £23 - Ask yourself this, would an elderly person pay £23 for a bottle of wine and then order 12 of them? Since this incident my mother has been worried what I (her son) would say, and has kept this a secret from anybody. It was only recently I came across a box of 12 wine bottles and questioned her why she has box of wine when she is not allowed to drink. My mother has been visibly upset by the incident and since this incident has been contacted on a few occasions by Pieroth to take part in other wine tasting events. After reading reviews online it seems this company use this type of sales tactics on a regular basis. BEWARE!

Purchased a voucher for 4 in August 2018. Booked the tasting evening and they didn't show up. I was told that the guy tried to get hold of me but couldn't. I was told by the manager, that he has since been sacked for not attending appointments after they investigated him. I was promised a refund but after 16+ calls to them I haven't received my refund and it's now Jan 2019. I did receive 4 bottles of terrible wine as a way of an apology in December 2018. I'm not going to stop contacting them until my money is back in my account. Do not waste your money and avoid at all costs. **Update** It's the 18th of January and I still don't have a refund in my account or a cheque in the post.

We very much enjoyed our home wine tasting evening with Al. We tasted 13 exceptional wines, and had such an entertaining and educational evening. I would thoroughly recommend Al and Pieroth Wines for a great evening in the Newcastle area.

I would like to specifically mention Emma Bryczkowski (wine consultant in the Portsmouth area). I have been to many wine tasting events at home and at events at Hotels that host Pieroth wines the last few years and found Emma very knowledgeable about her wines . She is lovely and friendly; her enthusiasm won me over. She keeps me updated about special deals and gives such a personal touch to tailor my favourite wines. I will keep ordering from Pieroth wines as the wines are awesome and I keep going back because they are not sold in shops . This makes the wines even more special. Thankyou Emma for opening my eyes to all types of wines from all regions.

I have bought wines from Pieroth for many years. The wines are very good but the service is appalling. In September I purchases wines to the value of $700+.Paid for them immediately as they expect you to do. Here we are in December, I am still waiting for my order to be completed. The bulk of the order was delivered within about a week. The last 4 bottles have been coming ever since. I get the runaround from the consultant and the customer service person, well let me say I may as well not bother to call her, a waste of time. She doesn't return calls! I have now been informed by my consultant that she didn't appreciate my abuse and has closed my account! I was not abusive, I have just told her how appalling their service is and she doesn't look after her customers. It's a different story when she wants an order from me. Then shes as helpful as can be. I am disappointed by the way I have been treated during the whole ordeal.

Recently had a tasting at home provided by Rory Brisby. As always Rory guided us expertly through the wines on offer and helped us greatly to pick the best wines for our taste and festive needs. A truly personal experience and I would recommend anyone who is serious about their wine to give a Pieroth Wine tasting event a try.

Fantastic Evening with Al! We are a group of students studying in Newcastle, who first came across the wine tasting experience at the Living North Festival. We enjoyed our first experience so much we wanted to do it again. Our second experience was with Al. This was an excellent, affordable and relaxed evening. Al provided us with great entertainment, brilliant Christmas presents for the families, good knowledge of the wines and made us feel more than comfortable.

Bought a voucher for my friends for Christmas and we made a night of it with some food too. Anderson was excellent, pairing the food that we had bought with the wine and showing the difference that wine with different foods can make. Although I was a bystander as I don't drink it was still interesting. One of my friends that took part said it was the best Christmas present he'd ever had - he is so hard to buy for so I'll take that!! Many thanks again Anderson - you were wonderful!

I held a Pieroth wine tasting party last night with Kevin Jewsbury, what an incredible experience for my friends and I. Kevin has extensive wine knowledge and a great sense of humour which made a fabulous combination for a perfect evening with friends. Pieroth Wine is very high quality and far better than supermarket wines. A big thank you to Kevin once again, we look forward to our order arriving shortly. I was give a wine tasting experience by my daughter last Christmas. For various legitimate reasons I have only recently been able to progress it. I have telephoned about 4 times and the telephone option I needed was not answered. So I tried again, same result. the next time I tried a different option, I was told that was the wrong department and they would transfer me, guess what, no answer. On my next try I finally got a real person who told me to send my details, certificate number, name and post code. Again no response so I tried once again and provided them with the details again and they said they would pass it on to my local office. A few days later still no response so I emailed them, more delaying tactics and after 2/3 emails the outcome was this certificate was not transferable. I feel sure that my daughter who bought this as a Christmas present would have explained this. It seems they are very happy to take your money and do their best not to provide the service. Easy money if you can get away with it. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I had a very relaxed experience with Phoebe from the Southampton office, I didn’t feel pressured to buy and had a very fun enjoyable evening. She was very polite and knowledgeable.

After several wine tastings with the amazing Mary Hoy, my taste for wine has changed dramatically in a good way and I could not turn away from Pieroth now. Since the first tasting i attended Mary made the effort to help find my now favourite wines. I would highly recommend Mary, she is extremely knowledgeable around Pieroth, great company and fun to be around and an absolute credit to the company.

My fiancé & I hosted a wine tasting night last Friday night. To say it was brilliant is an understatement. Our Pieroth rep, Melanie, based at the Stirling office, was fantastic both in her knowledge and her entertainment. Two other couples joined us and we all had a great night. I had Mark come in the other day for me to try the Pieroth Wines. I told him that I already belong to Laithwaites because they send me wines they recommend. Mark said I get to try the wines instead of choosing just on the labels before I make an order with Pieroth and I tried a french red and it was the smoothest red I had ever tasted! It was amazing I wasn't felt pressure by Mark to get it, he didn't need too as it was a good idea to taste it first. I'll be having Mark back from Luton after the New Year for something different!

Couldnt ask for better customer service, took one evening to decide what I wanted Sam Cross came from the St. Helens branch, and was very knowledgeable and professional he is I credit to the company and I will definitely be ordering again very soon.

I have been a customer of Pieroth for over 16 years and during that time have had several agents. Most have be good, but my present agent, Rory Brisby has been by far the best I have had. His concern for good customer service has been great.and when my late wife was ill he visited us several times to see how things were and this was much appreciated. Pieroth is a good company and the only adverse comment I would make concerns the recent delivery firm who for a while were not as efficient as I would have liked.
