Do not book this company! They cancelled our wine tasting with less than a day's notice and claim to not be able to get a replacement ''personal wine consultant". Completely unacceptable. Very poor.

My daughter gave me a wine tasting experience for both 4 and 6 people . I duly booked a date but was told that I could not hold them on the same night NOR at the same address. I proceeded with the 6 and David the wine expert turned up on time and was very pleasant giving a non rushed talk and sampling. The wines were all open bottles of various quantities and despite being told prices ranged from £12 to £20 the cheapest was £17 .? and that we had to order 12 my daughter had not been told this neither had I. The evening was pleasant but my birthday present cost me £272 inc delivery at £9.95 + vat . You can not expect your guests that are couples to buy 4 bottles each. My daughter was really embarrassed and as she said if she had been told NO WAY would she have bought the gift. The quality of the wines were nothing special I appreciate that everyone's tastes differ but except for the port nothing stood out. I wrote my concerns and views in Customer feedback but have not heard anything back. To crown it all some of the wine is still in transit from Australia so delivery is delayed unless I change my order.

Do not buy wine tastings from Pieroth! Over 2 months ago my partner and I purchased a wine tasting and a gift voucher at the Pieroth stall at Highland Show Edinburgh. We paid on the day and have had no contact from Pieroth despite being told that we would receive a phone call within 21 days. It has been over 2 months. Each time I phone the company I am told that the local office will be in touch to arrange the tasting and I never hear anything. There is no apology or explanation from the person on the phone. They do not reply to emails. I am led to believe that it was a scam.

Rory was great. Very interactive. Wines were delicious and the experience was great fun. Would thoroughly recommend for a night in!

We had a lovely evening with a very knowledgeable and friendly host Lewis. We enjoyed all the wines and the experience. We understood the pricing but were a bit disappointed that VAT was then slapped on top! Also think it’s a shame we couldn’t invite more than 2 guests? So o more than 4 people taking part, I could have asked more and therefore the potential to sell would have been greater? However we enjoyed our evening , thank you Lewis.

Received wine tasting as a gift for Christmas which i was very much looking forward to, managed to book one in after a lot of ringing and emailing and eventually had a call back about 2 months later. Had to then reschedule as work commitments came up and I have not been able to rebook since as I gave up calling and never received a call back. I would still like to arrange my wine tasting if someone can come back to me. It has not been a good customer experience so far.

We were invited to a wine tasting at a friend's house. A good selection of wines a Sherry(Type) and a Port. We were on the back foot having read some of the negative reviews. Here is our experience. 1) No hard sell and no time pressure 2) Wine tasting not Pieroth supplying free wines for your party as some people seem to expect. 3) Not all wines to our taste but of very good quality. Anyone saying they are cheap rubbish clearly don't have a palate or appreciate quality wines. We often get friends to blind taste a selection of wines from about 4.99 to 25. Average wine drinkers will always drift to preferring bottles at about 8 pounds or less. Yellow tail, Hardy's etc. Whereas more experienced wine tasters can spot the expensive ones. That does not mean they like them!! and that includes us. IT'S why we do wine tasting duhhh. 4) Yes we did buy some wine 20 bottles in fact. Price per bottle is about twice what we normally pay but will go in our "specials Bin" 5 star not awarded as you have to buy in sixes or twelves. (we shared some with our friends hence the 20.) Its their marketing strategy and is a shame as we would have liked to buy 2 or 3 of the ones we liked. Overall a good experience. Would we buy again? I will tell you once we have drunk some of the wines we ordered.Hic.

Great wine tasting session with Mike in Birmingham. Brought this offer by Perioth at a food festival and was very unsure on what to expect having read such bad reviews online. Mike was a great host and knew a lot about the wines he was selling and we got to try quite a bit (more than I was expecting). Would definitely do it again!

This was our first wine tasting with Pieroth and certainly won't be our last. Myself, my wife and a couple of friends are complete wine novices but, nevertheless, know what we enjoy. Lewis brought a lovely selection of wines together with a vast knowledge of each. We had a fantastic evening and would happily recommend to anyone. Cheers

Thank You! I had a visit from my new rep Peter Roebuck. I was truly made to feel like a valued customer. The range of wine's was fantastic, He was polite and I felt that I was with an old friend. He explained all about each wine and about each region. He also explained about how to arrange taste sessions for my friends. I do hope to see peter again, as all my other reps have moved on after one visit. I am pleased to say that every Wine purchased has been a real treat to drink. Keep up the great work and great taste.

I have had 2 wine tastings with Phil, a 4 and an 8. His relaxed manner and attitude of letting the wines sell themselves is endearing and with me laying on a nice selection of bread, cheese and antipasti makes for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend the experience and we are currently planning a bigger summer party hopefully with Phil's help and some BBQ to add to the experience!

Had a wine tasting experience gift certificate purchased as a Christmas present by my son. I activated the certificate and waited for the local wine expert (Mr Wine Lover according to the email from Pieroth Wines) to contact me to arrange the wine tasting evening. He contacted me about a week later and wanted to visit me on a weekday, when I explained that my son had paid extra so I could have the wine tasting at the weekend, he said he couldn't do this and would get someone else to contact me. Nearly three months later and after I have made several phone calls and sent emails to the Head Office of Pieroth Wines, still no-one has been in touch. I now intend getting in touch with my local Trading Standards office, regarding the purchase of a gift certificate which is not being redeemed from Pieroth Wines. My advice is don't waste your money on this company. If I could have put zero stars I would have done so.

Fabulous evening with Phil at the helm, bringing over a lovely selection of wines to taste from all over the world. His extensive knowledge of wines brought the evening to life and helped me choose which wines were perfect for every occasion. I highly recommend Phil and the team for a night of fun, laughter and very good wine!

We had a great evening with Phil sampling a number of different wines. Phil was very knowledgeable and provided a great selection/variety to try. Looking forward to doing it again!

Great evening of wine tasting Phil really knew his stuff and brought a great selection of high quality first pressed wines for us to try. We have order Pieroth wines twice now and will continue to do so in the future!

Had a superb evening last night with Phil tasting some lovely Pieroth wines! Having had our initial visit from Phil in April and discovering the quality of the wines, it was great to have him back again to invite some more friends round for a lovely evening of wine tasting! Phil was very informative and brought round a great selection of summer wines to cater to the tastes of the group. He was punctual, polite and engaging as always providing a unique experience for us and our guests in our home! Thanks again to Phil and I look forward to our order arriving soon! After a really enjoyable wine tasting experience with friends a few months ago, a follow up meeting was arrange to taste the new summer wine collection - Phil was very pleasant and informative, no pressure to buy but would of definitely would of like the option to be able to buy one or two bottles individually rather than by the cases. But did manage to get a good deal and purchase some lovely gifts as present for future birthdays and special occasions.
