Just joined friends for a wine tasting in lauder. Jack Thompson was our wines consultant and he was excellent - informative and so helpful. A great experience and will do it again with him.

We had a wine tasting with Jack Thompson. He was very friendly and very informative, didn’t pressure us to buy any wine if we didn’t want to. Was entertaining and gave us lots of food advice on what to eat with each wine. Really class guy.

I had a wine tasting for a small group of friends 2 weeks ago. The experience was absolutely fantastic, the wine consultant named Kevin Jewsbury, was so much fun, he is knowledgeable about the wine and the company history. Some of the wines were superb on the palette and at a good price point. I would highly recommend a wine tasting, especially with Kevin.

Unreliable and rude! By way of apology for poor service I was offered a complimentary tasting session, would have been nice if they had turned up! I was told that i would receive 3 bottles of wine to say sorry and rebook. I have tried to follow this up but just experience rudeness and indifference. I have asked to have my details to be removed from their database but I’m still receiving marketing calls from a member of staff who’s tone completely changes when I mention the fact that no-one has contacted me regarding my complaint.

I was asked.if I wanted.to order wines a couple of months ago said no as I had many bottles he said he would put them by As they were on offer I said no did not want them i would order when good and ready.love the wines but expensive. A message today that an order was on its way, told customer service to cancel the delivery. It was not ordered,asked for a message to be sent stating that the order has been cancelled, this has not arrived as yet not happy don't think I will be ordering any more unhappy customer

My partner received a message on her mobile phone telling her to prepare to receive a case of wine and to send payment . Rang Pieroth to say any delivery would not be accepted. Case of wine arrived today so we rejected it. The courier was not amused. What kind of way is this to run a business, sending unsolicited goods then demanding payment? Consider your environmental impact Pieroth, shame on you for sending unnecessary packages around the country.

Hello, I was given a Home Wine Tasting Experience present for 4 people on my 60th Birthday and was very excited as I have been on a few wine tasting experiences away from home and they has been great. I choose Saturday afternoon 15 February. It was a fab 90 minutes tasting and chatting, was really having fun. It ended rather quickly with the Rep assuming we wanted to buy 12 bottles and me feeling rather embarrassed when she mentioned the cost. I feel it would have been more appropriate for the Rep to say 'I hope you have enjoyed this afternoon's wine tasting and if you would like to buy the cost is, or I can leave you with the wine list and prices, so you can ring me if/when you would like to order. I was rather flat and disappointed when the Rep left as this was supposed to be a wonderful experience as a Birthday gift not necessarily a wine purchasing afternoon.

Having been given a voucher for my birthday I was really intrigued to know more about this wine tasting. Our Rep was Derek and he really was a credit to the company. Derek introduced himself with a informative background to Pieroth, he made myself and my group of friends feel very much at ease regarding the tasting session with no obligation to purchase any should we not be impressed by the taste. Derek’s knowledge on the wines we tasted was fabulous and we were all left feeling very happy about the information on the company as well as the wines that were available. The evening was proven to be enjoyed by all sat in the comfort of our home. The wines were fantastic and the experience overall was so lovely. Since this tasting, I have purchased another voucher for family members as well as highly recommend Derek and the wine experience to friends who now have also booked with Derek. Thank you Derek for a wonderful evening. I will be in touch later in the summer to stock up on more fine tasting wine!

We had Lisa for a wine tasting this evening. She was fantastic from start to finish. We were not pressured to purchase any wines; although we chose to! Fantastic experience

I've got very mixed feelings about the experience we had with Pieroth. The whole experience was very good from booking to the tasting, with a knowledgeable wine expert, and some nice wines to try. The conversation was easy and relaxed until the hard sell started at the end. Whilst we all enjoyed the wines, none were outstanding, and none of us felt the price justified, or wanted a case (even to share), so we declined to purchase any. At this point our rep's attitude changed - disappointment then anger, and we were made to feel very uncomfortable, to the point that two of our party had to leave the room. Comments like "it's a shame the cost is beyond you" were made, and our rep stormed off, leaving us in no doubt as to what he thought of us. This spoiled what, until that point, had been a pleasant evening. If paying upwards of £20 per bottle, the wine needs to really stand out, and whilst it was good, it wasn't £20 good. It shouldn't need a hard sell, but that's what we got.

Having Been invited to a wine tasting evening by friends we were pleased to see it was Pieroth. This is a company we had used some 30 years before. Our rep from Pierrot was Jay Taak, and he was a credit to the company. We were a mixed group that had been drinking and snaking prior to Jay's arrival. He introduced himself, gave a great and information filled chat about the company and the wines that were available from the company. The evening proved to be informative and the variation of wines were fantastic. A lovely experience all round so Thank you to Jay and our fabulous hosts. We will do another evening latter in the summer to stock up our reserves.

I discovered Pieroth Wines through completing a survey online a couple of years ago and have never looked back. It is through this survey that my husband and I were introduced to Jack Thompson, who has been our representative ever since. His knowledge of the wines and his relaxed manner is very reassuring, meaning we always make a purchase!! He tailors the wines to our particular likes, always with a surprise up his sleeve! We look forward to his visits and discovering what new wines are on offer.

We have had several tasting sessions with Roland and each and every one has been great. He is very knowledgable and takes the time to understand ours and our guests likes and dislikes in wine. He is humorous and makes the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. Off the back of this we always end up making a purchase!

I was given the opportunity to join a wine tasting hosted by Kevin Jewsbury. Kevin is a very professional, knowledgeable and personable representative for Pieroth. I now regularly attend and purchase wines from Kevin. Pieroth wines are extraordinary, a wine to suit everyone’s palate, occasion and budget. Kevin has a wealth of knowledge and experience and this comes across in his presentation. I cannot recommend Pieroth and Kevin enough.

We have been customers of Pieroth since 2000 and love the wines they have. Our current representative is Jack Thompson and his relaxed and knowledgeable approach makes each tasting we have a very enjoyable experience. We are kept up to date with all the latest wines and offers and are looking forward to the spring/summer wines.

I have been to wine tastings for a few years now in the Chesterfield area and all have been hosted by Kevin Jewsbury. It’s always a great evening with friends, food, Kevin and wine....a great combination and I’m never disappointed. Kevin makes it fun and always keen to say there is no pressure to buy, but with wine this good how could you not!!!!!! Yes it can be a little pricey but it’s a lovely treat a few times a year and there are always some great wines in for Christmas. I always look forward to a new season of wine coming around, seeing Kevin and hearing his favourite phrase.... You won’t like it, you will LOVE it!! Can’t recommend this company highly enough.

Kevin Jewsbury is the best!! Always friendly and knowledgable! I’ve been to a few wine tastings by Kevin now and I don’t just like it, I LOVE IT!! The wine is great and the blue bottle is AMAZING!!! It’s always an enjoyable evening with Kevin and my friends! Thank you, Kevin J!!

An amazing experience. Have been buying wine from pieroth for 4 years and never had a bad experience. Kevin Jewsbury is an absolute legend. Knows his stuff and always brings the personal touch to the experience. Five stars all the way. Wines are great.

Always a great selection of wines every season, and Kevin J is a pleasure to have round. Hes on the Christmas card run! We've been drinking and buying wine from Kevin for years and wouldn't want it any other way, always honest, recommends great wines and never pushy. Can't wait for our next!
